Bought this for my 8 week old baby as I was petrified of using baby clippers. I was so apprehensive due to his fingers being so tiny but he loved it so much he fell asleep half way through his first hand!!
Easy to use
Ordered this from my hospital bed after giving birth as my baby came out with nails resembling a bird of prey. Was waiting for me when I got home and was so easy to use even when sleep deprived!
this is one of the best baby products iv used
its so gentle, no nail clippers needed if you have this and opt for it instead! so safe and loads of different heads with different filing settings. a family member recommended it to me a few months ago and i havent looked back
Solved a problem
I was traumatised after I almost cut my newborn’s finger trying to cut her nails and this tool solved all my problems. I am now using it on my second child. I wish they would sell replacements as the discs got a bit worn out though, but it still works.
This actually works
I am a bit traumatized from cutting my little one’s nails since I accidentally cut the corner of her finger along with her nail. I initially didn’t buy these cause people were saying these hurt baby’s finger tips but it definitely doesn’t. I strongly recommend these types of nail filers.
Feels very cheap but does the job.
Should be a little more powerful to be a 5 star product. The actual handheld device portion feels very cheap. Drop it and you’ll need a new one no doubt, but it does the job, just very slowly.
My son was born 3 days ago and has a habit of getting his hands up to his face and leaves scratches. While my partner and I do put anti-scratch mittens on him, his hands are so small that they do fall off from time to time, so we bought this product and tried it out for the first time today.
It’s worked so well and was incredibly efficient in shortening his nails to a safer length without him throwing a fit. So, if he does chuck his mittens off we at least have the peace of mind that he won’t do any serious accidental damage to himself.
We did try it on ourselves with the adult attachments, but the speed was just too slow, but won’t mark it down at all because at the end of the day, this product wasn’t bought for us and we can just use normal files.
Useful gadget for baby nails
I wasn’t sure I needed one of these until I borrowed one from my friend. Makes filing babies nails very easy and quick. My baby doesn’t seem to mind me doing it. Haven’t used any of the other attachment’s so cannot comment on those ones.
Be careful to only file the ends of the nails and not the top surface as my baby had a bit of a temporary damaged nail which I think was from filing the top surface which made it weak and peel away.

Best type of nail file for baby
Having used nail file that you attach to finger to file my babies nails, this type of file worked so much better. Makes filing my 4 months old nails so much quicker. Wish I had purchased this to start with.
It has a useful light to help you see what your doing and it tells you which file is suitable for which age.
It comes in a compact case which the only down side is the files don’t stay in place if you have been carrying the case around.
Worked for my baby
I was worried that it’d be fake but it actually pleasantly surprised me. Works for my 6 month old and she doesn’t mind it. ( I tested it on my self first.) Only downside is once opened, the inserts don’t stay in their holes so you’re constantly rearranging them but small price to pay.

Fit for purpose though Not the bes
The product is fit for purpose and does its job, though when using it, it feels like it is a toy for children, not sturdy and very plasticky, nevertheless it does its job.
Life saver!
I used normal nail clippers for my baby and I accidentally caught his finger! So I bought this and it is a life saver! When he wriggles I don’t have to worry about catching him anymore! So much easier. Would definitely recommend!
This has been amazing for our newborn baby. Literally had to use it the day after he was born as his nails were so long and I couldn’t imagine having to use clippers! Each time we’ve used this he hasn’t even realised. Buy it!!!

Genius product – makes nail trimming safe. Brings joy to trimming a baby’s nails. You can really get ocd about them and get the nails in perfect shape. Dropped a star because the light is basically useless, would have been ideal if it was positioned in a more strategic position.
Easy to use, tried it on myself first and it does the job. No chance of hurting myself or baby as it stops when it hits skin. I couldn’t use the metal grind part of myself as was really harsh so I’ll stick to using the baby ones. Used on my baby tonight he didn’t even flinch. So better than clippers
