However, I decided that if it were that bad I could always return it.
I’m in my early 50’s and my lashes are now faded with some grey.
I’m used to using the eyelash dye that you pre-mix and then apply, whereas this one you apply the two products separately.
I washed my face – ensuring there were no products left on my face or eyelashes (even misceller water can be detrimental to the dye ‘taking’.
I did my left eye first (this isn’t relevant, it’s just that you only do one eye at a time).
I applied the first liquid to both top and bottom lashes and coated both sides of the lashes. Left on for 4 minutes, then wiped away with a cotton pad (it didn’t all come off – some had dried, but that’s fine).
I then applied the next liquid to both top and bottom lashes and coated both sides.
I left this on for 4 minutes and then wiped away with a cotton pad.
I then repeated the process with my right eye.
I got a tiny bit in one of my eyes (human error) and it stung but I used a cotton ear bud to remove it and all was good. It’s a chemical product, so you cannot expect it to not stung if it goes on your eye – you just have to be quick to remove it.
Hey presto I had black eyelashes and they looked thicker too.
There is probably enough for another 3 or 4 dyeing sessions.
Two weeks later and they’re still looking fab!
It arrived next day and was such an easy and very reasonably priced product to use.
Very clear instructions and easy to use. The only issue is that you need to coat the wand in the mixture , but your pour that into a bowl shaped dip , so really difficult to get even coat on the wand
I do this in combo with a lash lift and have found it works a lot better if you apply it the same as the perm, with your eyelashes stuck down to the pad. If you use it the way it says in the packet, by applying with a spoolie, it doesn’t work that well. Once it’s done it lasts about 8 weeks though
Works extremely well. Used the app and the whitening head for 2 weeks, and I have to say I did notice a change in colour and shine. Teeth are so much cleaner after using, can really see a difference. Don’t personally have any downfalls.
I used this product years ago and was a bit sceptical about purchasing again given many of the other reviews but I thought that I’d give it a go. I used the black and it definitely works and my eyelashes looked a lot longer than usual as the lighter ends were dyed. It took a bit of patience to apply but was simple enough. Be warned though that it does dye skin, I accidentally got some on my fingers and it took a couple of days to come off. It doesn’t give miracle results (although I wasn’t expecting that) but it does make a noticeable difference. If I were to do it again, I’d leave both products on for the maximum time.
It’s easier than I thought given it’s a new formula. You apply both gels separately rather than mixing them like the old way.
I used Black and you can definitely tell the difference. My only warning would be that you have to be extremely neat because it stains and won’t come off. It’s only my lash lines and will probably come off in a day or two but it looks like I’ve left make up on overnight
Also stings if you get it in your eye but I think that’s to be expected

This was a bit of faff to put on, especially with having nothing included to protect the skin from the dye, so needed to put on a barrier (Vaseline). When previously purchased there were paper protectors included, which were incredibly helpful, and made it a lot easier to use.
Longevity of colour is – not long, two weeks.
It’s okay and serves a purpose, could be better.
This was quite easy to use. I thought it wasn’t going to work as I didn’t see any colour change till the second layer was applied. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I will try doing them again as I think I should have left them on for longer. I wear contact lenses and have had no discomfort at all (obviously I didn’t apply this with the contact lenses in). I used this for the first time during lockdown and I have to say I won’t need to go to a professional again. The price is amazing and you get a few applications worth in one box.
So I accidentally bought this when I’d intended to buy eyebrow dye. Oops. Anyway having read a different review, I went ahead and tried it on my eyebrows anyway. I left it on for the max time at each stage and it worked really well although can be a bit clumpy in places to remove. Lots left in the tubes for more applications. As I have blonde eyebrows it did start off quite dark but I toned it down a bit with coconut oil. 4 showers later and still a great colour. No idea how it would behave on eyelashes though as I don’t dye those.
After a lot of bad reviews I looked up on good old YouTube people’s results and they were all positive.
Used my prime trial membership to get next day delivery, as it would be my last day off for quite a few days.
Arrived the next day as expected.
Now because I had watched a few YouTube videos I had a rough idea of how to apply it, but I read the instructions nonetheless (which were by the way very simple and easy to follow.
In the pack you get a tube of colour creme, a tube of developing gel, and spoolie/ mascara wand and a handy little tray which you can use to put the product onto.
I probably should have done a 24/ 48 hr patch test but I was feeling impatient so got straight to it.
And it worked brilliantly. It covered everything I needed it so.
A few things to consider before applying though. It is worth your while taking the few seconds to apply some Vaseline around your eyes, in case you get some of the colour creme or developer on your skin..as I did but with the saline it easily wiped away.
Now both of the cremes are transparent so you can’t really see where you’ve applied it, so you have to be as thorough as you can when applying the colour first (This saves you having to do it all a second time).
On the dyBROW kit it says it will last up to 12 applications, but it doesn’t say it months packing for this but it could easily last you up to 12 uses.
Now I’d say that’s quite the bargain, and 8tll save you money going back and to to the salon for touch ups every few weeks
Update: had the product for close to 5 months, and it’s not working as well as it did for the first 2 to 3/4 months. It still tints my lashes but it doesnt seem as deep a black as it used to tint them. But fair play as the expiration on the box says around 6 months so it’s to be expected.
