High Quality Kiln Dried Log

That Really Take The Guesswork Out of Burning Wood

Firewood Centre Premium Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs

Looking for high-quality firewood that burns cleanly and efficiently? Look no further than our premium kiln-dried logs. Unlike outdoor-seasoned logs, which can absorb moisture from the air and result in uneven and inefficient burns, our kiln-drying process removes moisture in a controlled and consistent way, resulting in logs with consistently low moisture content.

Don’t take chances with your wood-burning appliance – burning inferior wood can lead to excess soot deposits and a messy cleanup. Our kiln-dried logs ensure a clean burn with minimal buildup, so you can enjoy your fireplace or wood-burning stove without worrying about the mess.

Our commitment to quality doesn’t stop with our logs – we also prioritize sustainability and ethical sourcing. Our FSC and Woodsure certifications ensure that our firewood is sourced from sustainable woodlands and meets the highest quality standards.

Experience the difference with our premium kiln-dried logs. Enjoy a clean, efficient burn with minimal mess and no compromises on sustainability or ethics. With our logs, you can enjoy the warmth and comfort of your fireplace or wood-burning stove with confidence and peace of mind.

They are great logs burn very well and also look beautiful in a log basket etc. But VERY expensive for the amount you get and the size of each log. Price should be 10 and then we’d order a lot more, far more regularly.

So the wood is good it’s well packed and dry. But if you are using your burner every day it’s not really enough you would need more. I got them because my supplier was late so good I’m a pinch.

Using it for a woodburner in the lounge. Arrived in one large cardboard box. Luckily the delivery driver was a fit young man and able to carry it into my hallway and although it was a very raining day they arrived between downpours so didn’t get wet. The logs were a bit on the large side to be used in my burner and had to be cut down to a more reasonable size but it didn’t take long for my husband to chop them up. They burn well and I’m very happy with the purchase but as I have two ton of logs seasoning in the garden and drying out in the outhouse am unlikely to buy again.

Really pleased with this purchase. We were running low and just needed a few logs before our big delivery next week.
Great logs that have a lovely smell, and a long burn time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really great logs

This really is superb quality firewood. Perfectly dry and all hardwood logs so they burn cleanly, for a long time and give a good heat output. They also look great. If you wanted some logs to stack up as a feature by a fireplace rather than for burning then look no further. However they’re expensive for the amount you get in a box. Obviously it’s convenient having them delivered to your door already chopped and dried, plus they’re clean and tidy in a cardboard box. Whether that’s worth the premium price will be a personal choice.

A tricky one to review because, although the logs light and burn really well – you can tell they’re kiln dried because they’re good and flammable and they give excellent heat – they’re pretty expensive.

I’ve bought logs for my fireplace and firepit over the years and I’ve always been able to get a decent sized bag (around the same size as a potato sack) for a fiver or thereabouts. These logs come in a box which is significantly smaller than the standard plastic sack. So, although they’re good quality and you have to pay for quality, they seem too expensive to be a regular purchase for me.

I received 8 pieces of Birch, of varying size in a cardboard box, the wood was very dry so it was easy to light – I measured the moisture content and my meter indicated that each piece had 0% moisture, which meant that it burned with a clean and hot flame.

In my opinion this is great wood for occasional use in the household, as it is quite pricey. It would be fine for use in fire pits, chimeneas, pizza ovens etc as you can be sure that you’ll be able to get it lit.

In our box we had 8 large hard wood logs. Burning two at a time we’ve had two hours main burn time on our open fire two days in a row (So eight large logs equates to four hours on our fire, see photos) Lovely heat, nice gentle fire noises but no cracking or spitting like you get with soft woods. Roaring large flames to glowing cinders, the wood burns completely. Being kiln dried ensures a constant burn. The price is 12.95 which is a lot. It comes boxed and is therefore tidy and good if you need to travel with the wood. The only thing that would hold me back from using this is the price. The wood lights easily, burns well and lasts a decent amount of time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good heat and a clean burn but expensive

These logs make great firewood – burned really well in wood burner. Can recommend them. Only downside is they are expensive – probably fine if you just want the odd box for a pizza oven but definitely buy elsewhere if you intend to use in bulk to get better value.

If you have a wood burner or multi-fuel burner, then these are for you. They are kiln dried and so will burn with little smoke output but plenty of heat. Most importantly is that the wood is sustainably sourced, so the impact on the environment is minimised.

They arrive tightly packed in a printed cardboard box. Don’t be tempted to burn the box, though, as that isn’t environmentally friendly, and it can be recycled instead. Each log is around 25cm in length, that about 10″ in the old money. The width of the logs varies according to how they are cut.

The current asking price of just under 13 is a bit high in my opinion. I appreciate the logs are heavy and expensive to post, and this attributes to the cost. You can certainly buy cheaper elsewhere. However, the quality of these logs is high.

Overall, pricey but otherwise excellent. I hope that helps.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but otherwise excellent.

Loving the associated kindling and this is brilliant firewood. Nicely packaged so easy to store and stack. Good size logs so perfect for getting that roaring fire going. They burn easily and nicely as one would hope.
Brilliant to have as back up for when stocks are low and to enable a quick fire.

Nicely boxed and clean logs that are easy to handle, well dried so they burn readily, ideal for infrequent use. They are cut to an ideal size for our wood burner. These burn faster than our home-dried logs of equivalent wood and hold together well when we reduce the oxygen to the burn. The box is only 8kg so we will get through it in 2 winter days, which makes them quite expensive compared with other sources when used for daily heating, so probably best for someone who only occasionally lights a fire such as a home pizza oven or a patio chimenea.

This is a good quality box of pre cut logs, which are ideal for outdoor wood burners. I got these for my mum who has a chiminea which she uses almost daily (weather permitting), so she gets through loads of wood.

These logs have a long lasting burn and give off a good amount of heat even when the flames start to die down.

At almost 13, they are quite expensive compared to wood sold in some discounters, but it burns well and the size is cut ideally to fit in chimineas or other outdoor log burners, saving you a lot of effort to cut up wood yourself.
