Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI already have a large pressure washer from a well-known brand. It certainly does its job, but is heavy and takes a bit of setting up, and having electric cables near water is always a concern. The result is that I only use it very occasionally and when I really have to, for heavy duty cleaning.

The Fly EasiClean is a different proposition. It is light, even with the battery attached, so I certainly use it more. I also use it for more different cleaning purposes – car, parts of the garden the hose won’t reach. Being so much more easily portable, cleaning garden furniture and ornaments becomes a practical proposition.

The washer comes with a. number of accessories for varying the spread of flow, adding detergent to the process, as well as a length of hose that can be used to take water from a remote source such as a pond or stream. Naturally the water in such situations is not clean, so a filter is supplied to pre-filter the water source. Don’t want to go firing tadpoles all over the place.

Also a reservoir is included and this can be filled from a tap and the water then used again, away from the mains hose, or cleaning the car. This is the really useful accessory and the one, for me, that makes the washer really useful.

Recognising that their washer may be used to tackle a wider range of tasks than a normal one – practicality, weight, ability to be used away from a mains water source – Flymo have supplied some neat accessories – the main elongated jet pipe, but also a shorter one. All these things make it a great addition to the armoury of tools.

Couple of points: there are three ends provided to vary the angle of spray, 0, 15, 40. I need to learn the knack of attaching them – it is actually really easy but it seems counter-intuitive to me for some reason. That is me, not the washer, but it is as well to be forearmed.
Attaching the jet pipe itself to the pressure washer takes a knack and a bit of a push, but again that is probably me.

    Forewarned is forearmed!

    Overall I definitely recommend it.

Now I need to learn how not to give myself a shower when washing the car…

This Flymo portable pressure washer is actually my very first experience in owning a pressure washer and I’m impressed. I’m sure there are much more powerful ones out there but the portability of this is a definite plus point.

In terms of power it performs well. It comes with multiple attachments which affect the spray dispersal of the water and makes it work for a multitude of tasks. I’ve used it to clean the car and around the wheel alloys as well as more targetted cleaning in the garden.

For example, the finest spray is most powerful as it confines the water to a small targeted area thus creating quite a bit of pressure behind it. It does work on claning patio slabs with the finest spray but as it is very targeted it doesn’t cover much area. So fine for isolated areas but will take an age to throughly clean a wider area. The wider sprays don’t quite have the same power behind them as the pressure is more widely dispersed.

The battery does seem to run out quite quickly but will last one good wash of the car. It is easy to assemble and the battery is easy to remove and charge.

Overall its a good pressure washer if you want some living portable. Depending on your needs you may want something more powerful but this works well for most cleaning tasks.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have given this 4* only because it is a little heavy. It works well and the water holder is great for doing the car etc. The battery life is ok considering the high power of the pressure. It is a very handy piece of equipme

I have a similar version made by Ryobi and the Flymo one is slightly more powerful however Ryobi seem to have increased the power of the latest version.
The Flymo does not have a variable jet as such but the nozzle has to be changed to get different jets, an easy process. It is easy to use and the battery charges quickly.
The main disadvantage over the Ryobi version is the water storage bag, the filler hose is just pushed into the filler hole and it is easy for the lightweight bag to collapse and get water everywhere it would be better to have adopted something like the Ryobi version where the hose entry into the water bag is sealed and there is no danger of spillages.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe got this primarily to use at our allotment where this is no power and no capacity to connect to a mains water hose. It is proving invaluable for this although is slower than a mains powered machine as you would expect and we have had to have 2 attempts at the paving stones as the battery only lasts around 15 mins on full power.
The fact that this can take water from the included water reservoir, a bucket, pond or standard hose is invaluable.
Although not what it’s designed for we’ve been able to use it to move water from a water supply tank into a barrel on our plot, saving us carrying watering cans backwards and forwards.
This comes with 3 different nozzles which store neatly on the body of the pressure washer as well a foam attachment, extension wand and spare waterproof battery cover for a larger battery – handy as I will look into getting a larger capacity battery.
Overall brilliant piece of kit, well designed, stores easily in box and has everything you could need in a portable power washer.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis arrived nicely packed in easy to unpack box.
The packaging has been well thought out. Everything goes back in the box with no fuss or mammoth Tetris like arranging.
Flymo are one of the big hitters for gardening appliances so I expected great things. I wasn’t disappointed.

From opening the box and taking out the bits and pieces it was clear that it was well designed.
Just one lance to screw in, a battery to attach, choose one of the three styles of nozzles and you’re good to go.

It is very well made and designed for ease of use and handling.

The battery charged up in less than 2 hours – there was a bit of charge in it but I always fully charge before using after buying.
The battery is easy to attach and remove from the charger and the main unit and has a rubber protective case.
There is a second case, presumably for a spare battery or in case one gets damaged.

There are three nozzles, clearly marked for the type of spray.
0 degrees is a powerful needle jet.
15 degrees is a fan that is good for cleaning the car.
40 degrees is a wider fan that can be used for larger areas like patios.

Water supply is provided directly via hosepipe and the popular click-lock connectors. Alternatively you can use the collapsible water butt provided to fill and take to where you need to use the washer.
Or you can also use the small hose provided to take water from a pond, or larger water butt.

In use it is light weight and with no electric cables to worry about much easier to move all over your garden and driveway.
Not having to run an extension cable down the garden to the drive to clean the car is a God send.
It is also a little quieter than a our mains operated pressure washer.

Power wise it is adequate for cleaning the car and similar items.
The video I have shows me cleaning one of our patio flags. It does the job but slowly. I will still use the mains washer for this task.

But it’s selling point is portability. You can take it anywhere. If there is no water where you want to use it then take some with you in the container provided.

It also excels when you want to put it away.
Disconnect the hose, remove the battery (if you need to re-charge), unclip the lance and everything fits easily back in the box, no fuss.
This ran for a good hour cleaning the car and bike but I have no idea how long it will it will last (I will update when the battery gives out)
Despite the literature stating the Li has an LED display, I am yet to find it on the Li Plus. It would be nice to know while using the washer how much battery is left.
The literature also states there are two lances with the Li Plus. Mine only has one (which is sufficient for me) but not sure why there is just the one.

Still, it gets 5 stars just on its sheer usefulness and great design.

    Simple to use

great content and great for washing the car or patio but not powerful enough to remove moss and grime, heavy handled so not for one arm use, overall makes washing the car so much easier with the 20l bag and the battery makes it a great portable piece of kit, easy to assemble and swap the nozzles from direct jet to spread jet, pricey for what it is but a great luxury item

This is one of those devices you don’t know you want until you have it. I already have a jet was but its a pain wheeling it around and using extensions to power it. This is rechargeable so it is cordless. I was surprise how light it is. You have an option of connecting your hose to it but if you don’t have one then you can use the water tank which is comes with. This is portable which means you can take it anywhere where there is no water source or hose and use it. Great for washing caravans and bikes. We took it to clean the grave stones – something we could not normally do.

It was easy to set up, and use. The easy lightweight design makes jet washing very simple. I love the foam attachment, I ended up buying some snow foam just to try it and it was excellent at covering my car in foam ready for it to be washed off after.

The battery must last a long time as we did lots of jobs and it was still going. If you want power then it is powerful but I personally don’t think its powerful enough to remove stubborn patio stains. I still used the mains powered one for that then keep on top of it with this one. I also ended up washing the wheelie bin out with this as bins are away from the house. Again lots of useful ways to use this.

I didn’t know something like this existed so I am giving it full marks. I know the versatility and the freedom of no cords or luging a wheeled device around with me everywhere. A huge thumbs up from me.
