Using this to stream games to my phone via parsec and it exceeded expectations. If you’re on the fence buy it it’s exactly what I wanted. I’m amazed these kind of products are not more popular.

After my partner and I had had to consolidate our gaming setups into one, we found gaming at the same time difficult, especially trying to play together.

I have recently rebuilt my machine without external monitors after finding this. With compatibility with Steam Link and the Game Pass (both cloud and remote play) I can game from my phone while my partner games at the desk.

The grip, a tad on the small side (compared to the official XBox controller) is still very comfortable for a few hours gaming. The buttons are very responsive and the triggers have a good pull/resistance feel to them.

If you are familiar with gaming on the Switch, then this is exactly like that. Great hand placement in reference to the screen.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have been looking into different mobile game controllers for a while, Backbone and Razor was the only controllers (I thought) existed until I saw GameSir.

Gamesir was a cheaper option compared to others and surprisingly had great reviews, I took the plunge and decided to order the GameSir x2 lightening edition.

The quality was great?l, it comes in a nice little case with straps inside to keep it secure. The analogs feels nice to move and the buttons feel high quality.

      Cons –
Even though it fits pretty much any phone on the market, the controller bends on the iPhone 13 Pro Max due to the sticking out camera. This doesn’t affect how you hold it but it’s not straight.

Triggers are not analog, they are digital. Ok if you play shooting games etc but not great for driving games.
The triggers are also sensitive – sometimes if I press the LT, it’ll detect that I’m pressing it twice. Only found this on Minecraft so not sure if it’s a game issue or controller issue?

Overall, the price is fantastic for what you get. If you’re in the market for a mobile Game controller and don’t want to spend 100+ on one, this controller is recommended for you.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you dont want to spend out on a steam deck, this could be a good alternative. Smart phone depending this is a fantastic gaming device. Easy to set up and clip onto your phone. Good quality switches and very comfy in your hands. I play a lot of emulators on my S22 Ultra and this has improved my gaming experience 100%.

It fits my Pixel 7 very well. Fits better than the Razer Kishi V2. A nice case too.

When I got this product everything seemed fine even plugging in for the first time everything instantly worked, the biggest downside was the imput delay of the analog sticks. The delays is somewhere bellow a second, but its very noticeable and very annoying. The product itself is great if you plan on using it on games like minecraft, but not good if you plan on using it with games like fortnite (which has its own problems).
I could go more extensive, but I haven’t used it in awhile on the accountability of my new phone case not allowing me to attach the product. This all may come down to the fact I use a samsung galaxy fold 3 and it’s software gets continual updates that mess with alot of apps and could even mess with some accessories.

Only had it a few days but I’ve been using Nvidia Geforce Now. Worked straight out the box, just make sure you read the instructions. Enable OTD connection and away you go!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been using a Razer Kishi for years, mostly for emulation and it served me well. I was looking to get the v2 but its just unrealistically expensive so I bought this instead… And I’ve got to say, it’s worth it. Perfect for emulation and the fact that the USB-C connector has some wiggle, bonus. I prefer this to the kishi. The buttons feel good, the dpad isn’t mushy and you can easily change the button layout. Great all round.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersReally good option for turning your phone into a handheld gaming device.
Particularly good for emulating old consoles or for things like Minecraft.

It is a bit tricky to use if you’ve got big hands as the hand position is tricky as it’s quite small so the buttons are all very close together. So if you’ve got big hands it can be uncomfortable for long play sessions. That’s to be expected though.

Only other negative is that it feels a bit plasticy and rattles or creaks quite a bit when your using it. Feels like it makes a lot of noise. Seems pretty sturdy though and it’s a very minor complaint.

The only improvement I would like would be analogue triggers.

Super simple and effective. No problems to connect, no delay and very comfortable.
Only issue is that when I try to charge while I’m playing my phone drives crazy and neither charge nor work, however it’s a rugged phone ( ulefone armor 7 )which it should not fit in the controller but it does , so fair enough. 5/5

Because it’s a direct connection to the phone it’s so much better to play with in terms of latency than any Bluetooth controller not even kidding. Playing the sonic games and call of duty on my phone is great with this 🙂

I bought this with the intention of using it with retroarch, praying that it didn’t suck. Well my prayers were answered. This is hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made in ages. Worth every penny. Is it perfect? No. There are a few things I would like to see in the next version: move the right stick slightly to the left so the buttons are easier to reach without interference, make the buttons slightly bigger all round, add a manual open locking mechanism to take the phone in and out easier, add a swapable pad for the right side so phones like mine (s20 note ultra) with poorly thought out camera design can be padded easier (I used stickable felt to offset the camera) are a few such examples. However, none of this stops me from loving this thing, it is brilliant, great work gamesir team! I look forward to the next version!

Using with a pixel 6 pro, combined with split screen feature, was amazing to play gamecube / wii games like Zelda the wind waker in increased resolution, with perfectly responsive controls and watch a video at the same time.

The controls are very similar to that of a switch.

What a great controller. Fits to the phone easy and holds solidly in place. I got this mainly to play emulators on my Samsung S20Fe. Setup is a breeze, you just plug it in and it’s works straight away. I’ve been using it to play 8,16 and 32 bit emulators via RetroArch. Very little configuration is needed.

Controller and buttons feel solid and not cheap. Also tested on Xbox Cloud gaming and it worked fine. Note that the buttons are the Nintendo Switch layout (A is where B is, and X where Y is on an Xbox controller).

      Highly recommended!

A really well built and easy to use device for the price!
Works really well with little to no setup with Minecraft, Terraria, Dead Cells, Stardew Valley and Forager.
So far waiting on support for Genshin Impact
Button mapping apps have caused me complications or haven’t worked, but isn’t too of much of an issue as most popular games work right out of the box or through the game settings themselves as if you’re using any other bluetooth or wirless controller.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPretty rad. I love using the phone emulator for Android whlith this beauty.
It does also work with stadia too, but the only game I have right now cyberpunk 2077 has a different button layout and it gets annoying.

I’ve only had a quick go right out the box with a couple of games. First impressions are that I’m very pleased with my purchase, built with really high quality and very comfortable in my hands. Very happy customer =D
