Fantastic stuff..really sticky..my daughter managed to somehow transfer from her goalie gloves to her hair which was a delight at 7am they next morning washed out fine but truly is adhesive and works great on gloves.. Highly recommend!

My son plays goal keeper position at school football team
so i got him to use on his gloves when he plays. He said it did give better grip on his gloves when catching the ball however he felt it weared off easily and had to reply more spray onto his gloves for it to be useful.

This is just a great glove grip spray.
I was a bit surprised that it does work and it actually works pretty good.
I have tried the spray on both hands and gloves and it does the job well.
When you spray it on hands you can feel how it works as your hands get really sticky and you tent to hold things better.
In case of gloves they get sticky as well and you are able to catch the ball a bit better and easier.
I personally spray from this glove grip on my gloves just before the football match and I think it does last until the end of it.
Single spray on a glove is more than enough so the 100ml bottle should last.
The price of 7.99 is great for what you get.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

My grandson plays in goal for his local club and an academy for a professional football club.

I saw this was available so requested it for him.

On arrival it’s actually a pretty small bottle, about 5 inches. I was expecting something bigger to be honest.

It sprays on ok but has a smell which dissipates after a while.

We tried it on a number of his gloves, ( he’s got a few!). Some gloves faired better than others. It seemed to work better on his more worn out ones than his newer latex style ones.

He used it a few times including in the wet and by the end of a game in the rain it had lost most of its effectiveness, so it only seems to last for one game.

I’m honestly not sure about the effectiveness of it to be truthful .

Value for money? Not sure the jury’s out on that point.

It does seem to make the gloves tacky , lasts a game but didn’t seem to work so well on all of his gloves in my opinion.

But he seems to think it does and as a result seems to give him a bit more confidence in goal but he’s only 10 years old.
It makes him feels like a real professional using it so he’s happy so I’m happy.

Works really well for goalkeepers. Gives extra grip. Personally used it on goalkeeper gloves and works perfect, and doesnt stain the gloves either. A little goes a long way so will last for a long time too. Ive used it in the gym whilst lifting and works a treat. No need to buy gloves or use chalk which can get messy as i have this!!

I hot this to use on my grandson’s football keeper gloves. He plays really well as a goalkeeper but anted that little bit of an edge to help him. The bottle is a decent size at 100ml and is an easy to use trigger spray bottle. We sprayed them on his gloves before the match and it is really tacky. He did seem able to hold the ball better and to be honest did some great saves. We sprayed it on again at half time as some of the stickiness had gone by then. We will keep using it until the bottle has gone and monitor how it helps him.

I slip on the yoga mat sometimes doing eg downward dog pose, so I thought this would be useful. I don’t like the sticky feel and I’m struggling to get it off. It’s too sticky really for what I wanted, though it stops me slipping, but I can see it would be good on gloves.

I decided to try this grip spray as an alternative to ‘liquid chalk’ as a grip aid for church bellringing. Grip can be a real challenge, especially in the winter when hands are cold — liquid chalk is widely used, but can leave messy white residues and can be a problem for people with any sensory issues.

This is a small bottle, only 100ml, with a trigger spray gun on the top. The small button on the side of the neck acts as an on/off switch to avoid unnecessary / accidental sprays and leaks. The trigger works very well and delivers a fine mist. I found that one or two sprays was plenty — rub hands together and good to go. The hands are left without a sticky residue but with a noticeable improvement in grip, although it does seem to wear off quite quickly. In my experience so far (of a couple of bell ringing sessions) — it lasts long enough for the hands to warm up and natural grip to be improved.

At 8.99 it isn’t cheap, but is a good alternative for those who can’t cope with the chalk.

Basically this item leaves a sticky residue on goal keeping gloves which makes them tacky and as a result you can hold a catch better.

I gave this item to a friend for her grandson who’s mad keen on anything football related. He loved this product, put it straight on his gloves and dragged grandma into the back garden for a kick around. He does actually play in goal and he thought it gave him a bit of an advantage when catching the ball.

The product comes in an easy to use spray bottle and only a few sprays are required to get a good tacky surface. Using a dry ball, the spray didn’t need using too many times but with a wet ball the stickiness soon faded and was probably of little use.
On a dry ball there was a slight transfer of tackiness but nothing that wouldn’t wear off during play.

On a note of caution, I’d avoid using this product on wicket keeping gloves for cricket as it is likely to foul the ball and make it difficult for your bowlers, could even be regarded as ball tampering!

Verdict: Good idea for a product and kids will love the idea of it. As footballs are quite often wet though during a match I’d question how much of an advantage this product will give in that scenario.
I can see why it would also be useful for golf gloves or any other sport that involves holding a racket or club.

I used this product on my weightlifting gloves and I do think the grip has been significantly increased. There isn’t any sticky residue and no harm appears to have occurred to the gloves.

Due to having fine cuts on my hands, I have not been able to try the product directly on them. As the information states not to. Being so effective on my gloves, I think applied to hands should also be a very good experience. Although this is an assumption and expectation.

Having a trigger spray means it takes up more room in a bag than a pushdown pump spray head and the trigger is more susceptible to getting damaged.

The product is quite smelly when sprayed. This does go away.

It could be beneficial if applied to lifting straps to allow them to have additional grip on bars and handles.

A really useful product. Apart from sport & fitness pursuits, the product is useful to ensure a great grip when undertaking other tasks. Such as moving mirrors and furniture.

I got this spray for my 12 year old nephew, who’s a goalie for his football team. He is quite small for his age and every time he gets tall enough to ‘jump reach’ the crossbar, he has to move up to the bigger goals with his age group!
I thought anything which may give him a little advantage in goal would be a good thing.
The spray is designed to give a little extra grip to gloves or bare hands (if used for other activities such as gymnastics/weight lifting). Directions say to spray 2-3 pumps onto each hand/glove, rub together and leave to dry.
It comes in a 100ml spray top bottle, which is a handy size to carry in a glove/boot bag. The liquid is green in colour and smells strongly like alcohol hand gel, which stands to reason, since the main ingredient is alcohol denat plus tea tree oil.
My nephew used it on his goalie gloves during his last match and appeared impressed with the results, said he felt it gave him better control when handling the ball.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job intended, provides a little extra grip when needed.

A few seconds after you have sprayed this onto the goalkeeper’s gloves you can already feel the increased grip. That isn’t mentioning the the cheap price and how much you’re getting in this small bottle.

Got this for goalie gloves. Large spray lever for the bottle. Nice little button lock which is simple to use. Sprays a nice fine mist. 4/5 sprays for each glove. Provides extra grip reviving old gloves to nearly new state of grippyness.

    Glove Grip Goalkeeper Spray 100ml.
Got this for my goalkeeping grandson.
I watched him at training last night and it seems to do the job it is expected to do.
He has used other goalie glove sprays and he says it is as good as any he has used.
Overall our grandson is very happy with it.

I play a wheelchair sport so I need my gloves to be sticky to catch the ball but not overly sticky where I can’t propel my chair or get stuck to everything, this is a great spray that keeps my gloves sticky and lasting longer rather than having to keep buying new gloves when I think they’ve worn out!

I put them on my hand and it is far too sticky, while this has benefits it also has negatives, it feels annoying to work with, and took me 5 or 6 washes to get it out. It is far better on gloves because you don’t need to wash the gloves like you do hands. I used it on my hands but next time will be on work gloves.

It isn’t that bad though it does what it says, better grip but for hands I still prefer liquid chalk, for gloves this is all you need, as it is invisible clear liquid that dries up as if you’ve just bathed hands with jam, and or honey, but without the sticky mess. Something to note though, the smell of this product when spraying is rather pungent in a chemical way. I found this product best used on gloves, while picking up debri in the garden from a knocked down building.

I wanted to use it for gym workout, as that is why I ordered it in the first place, but the stickiness is just annoying for hands. I would say for gloves this is a good product, try not to breathe in the chemical smell it produces.
