Shower hose
Fitted easily onto the existing shower head and mixer although I had to turn the holder bracket for the shower head round for it to fit.
Seems to be a good product but not properly tested yet.
The correct size required.
It looked perfect but was slightly smaller round than my original so had to return and get the reccomended for my make of shower. I had assumed to ‘fit most showers’ would be ok.
It works well but the pipe has a narrow diameter than the standard AquaLisa hose
I have an AquaLisa thermostatic shower and this is a great replacement hose. In some ways better than the original because it is more flexible.
However be aware the diameter of the pipe is smaller than the standard AquaLisa pipe, so the flow rate will be less.
I have a shower pump, so this doesn’t make much difference to me. If you are reliant on the cold water pressure, this may be an issue.

Durable, long and easy to fi
I bought this to replace the hose on a Mira power shower that had a hole in it. This replacement was super easy to fit and feels more durable than the original from Mira. It’s also a bit longer, which is a nice bonus. Very good value for money in my opinion.

A bit too shiny and quite narrow but it is fine as a replacement.
One morning recently our existing shower hose recently decided that conveying water from the shower to the head was dull and instead decided to try and become a long balloon!
While it succeeded in that and was probably very proud of its creative flair, I was less than impressed at the resulting trickle of a shower!
So, time for a new hose, and quick sharp too!
Step forward Amazon and their deliver by 10pm tonight option.
This was on that list and having bought H&S stuff before I knew it should be fine.
It was delivered within 10 hours of ordering and fitting is simple enough.
Remove shower head – it should just unscrew without too much trouble – and drain water in the hose.
Then just loosen the nut on the output of the shower end (adjustable spanner or plumbers pliers are perfect) and unscrew.
Ensure the old washer is removed (it is a metal crush washer so throw it away) and refit with the new metal washer.
Tighten up, but no need to get too tight.
Finally refit shower head and use the black rubber washer here to form the seal.
Test shower and tighten joints slightly if there are any leaks.
Now normal power is resumed and I have a hose that is happy with its lot of being a hose! 🙂
The hose itself is perfectly good quality. It is flexible, does not appear to want to kink and is long enough to make the rinse down of the area after cleaning, very easy.
Oh and the shower hose should just fit and virtually all showers use the same size diameter for them.

When buying a shower hose my expectations aren’t particularly high. I want to be able to get water from the shower to the head with no leaks. Well this hose does that, thats 3 starts right there. When you add on excellent build quality, better packaging than you would need for a hose, and a couple of little extras, that to me is a 5 star product.
Let’s start with the connections. They are metal, not chromed plastic like most other hoses I’ve had. The connection for the outlet on the shower is a hex head which for me, as access to this connection is limited, allowed me to get a spanner on it and make a good seal. The connection for the head, being made of metal, is thiner and stronger than the plastic ones which means it actually fits in the head holder. This also has a couple of flats on it, allowing you to tighten with a spanner, but I didn’t find this necessary.
Now for the extras and packaging. The hose comes with an inline filter, not unusual but a nice extra all the same. The hose arrived in a strong well sealed box (inside the Amazon box). And both ends of the hose had plastic caps to protect the threads but also to make sure the seals and filter don’t go missing in transit. This all adds to what I consider to be excellent value for money.
Basically this is a shower hose it works and it will last, what more do you want.
