I used this lead before. It is great as it allows you to lead the dog with your hands free because you can clip it on your waist which gives you more stability if your dog pulls. Great for large breed dogs like GSD.

My dog used to pull a lot, bought this and a harness to try to stop that. Put one on the chest and one on the back of dog. Works great at stopping pulling, not completely but hugely reduced. Love the different combinations of how you can use this leash as well with all the different rings.

I’ve got a puppy Staffy with a very strong will of her own. Don’t know how I managed before investing in this lead. Have just bought a second lead so she has a smart one for about town, and has a an ‘off road’ one. Can’t recommend this highly enough

This is a good quality lead. I bought this lead for my puppy and hope it will last till adulthood.. unless he chews it before then!
Love all the clips so you can change the length, cross it over your chest like a cross body bag or even loop it round your waist as I did when we went out for breakfast today.

This is the second Halti training lead I’ve used. The first was a hand-me-down from my sister who used hers with her GSD for 12 years. I like the multi-fixing points, length, and softness of the lead. The previous lead had some signs of chewing but had not been completely severed and still worked well. Unfortunately, after 12 years of use one of the attachment clips failed. Still good vale for money.

I previously had a red reflective halti training lead, but with a large strong puppy who often pulls it could dig into my hands.

So I decided to try this lead. This lead is softer and doesn’t dig into my hands if my dog pulls making it easier to hold, and more importantly easier to control my dog.

I would just like it to be a little longer and have some reflective parts for the winter evening walks.

So much less pulling from an easily excited pup, its fantastic. Seems well made and is comfortable to hold. I’m using it with a 2 point harness with front and back connections.

Overall a good quality product that works as described however the length of each setting is smaller than anticipated due to where the fixing points are positioned on the lead. Would be perfect if it was 1m longer.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was getting a bad back thanks to my spaniel pulling. This lead, attached to the Halti headcollar is brilliant. It doesn’t cause him discomfort but cuts the strength of his pull by about 80%

We have this lead in black to go with the halti head collar, they’re great! You can adjust the size and length of the lead by moving the clip. Very versatile. Perfect!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have a two year old Labrador who pulls like the proverbial steam train. This harness was recommended by a friend. I also bought a half harness at the same time. The pulling stopped almost immediately, making walks a pleasure again.

Bought another Halti lead for our other dog so he’d stop pulling. When it came, the lead was a lot slimmer than the other one we’d had (even thought the length was the same, I didn’t expect it to be slimmer). It turned out to work perfectly for our smaller dog so she has the slimmer lead so it’s less heavy on her back when walking and our boy has the chunkier lead for his pulling.

Really comfy material when holding the lead, especially for pullers!

I really like this lead and use it with the Halti dog harness. It has two clips which can shorten or lengthen the lead making it really versatile or it can clip into two places on the Halti harness. I love it!

I really like the Halti range. I have previously purchased collars, harnesses and double ended/clipped leads for my puppies now 5 months. They are hard wearing and good quality. This particular lead was for one of my adult dogs (Mummy to the puppies) – her walking manner has changed since having a litter so I have moved her into a harness and this lead was an ideal combo. I went for the larger version – the lead being thicker and it is flat – this is very comfortable on my hand. I really like the double clip as well so can clip to harness and collar if you so wish – this is a good length lead perfect for loose lead walking, and I do a lot of dog walking! Definitely rate this product as a good buy!

These leads are brilliant, they are very versatile, I wouldn’t say they are chew proof but then it depends on your dog. I have a Border Collie cross and she wouldn’t chew through it but I also have a German Shepherd and he could chew through it and anything else in seconds. This is not a fault of the lead it is the dog. I have 2 of these now and would highly recommend as they are so easy to use and you can use them in the car as well as out walking.

I have had one of these leads for many years and needed a second one for my new pup so obviously I bought a second Halti Training Lead. It’s easy to hold, no chafing to the hands and is very versatile. I use the new one with a no pull harness which gives great control.

I have 3 dogs which made buying these pretty expensive. I was lured by the promise of no pulling when use with the halti harness. Sadly it made no difference and only made walking a chore, constant twisting and tangling of the dog with the lead made it difficult so i ended up using just as a regular lead. I could have bought 3 regular leads for the price of this. The quality is good though and hopefully they will last but a bit gutted that the advertisement wasn’t accurate.
