Hama 'Sportsline' Large Projector Bag, Black (fully padded with shoulder strap, 39x27x15cm)

Variable interior layout for different device sizes

A Velcro tape inside the bag secures and fixes the beamer so that it does not run around. Hama has thought along and made the interior of the bag flexible. Thanks to removable Velcro inner divider and variably placeable additional padding you are completely flexible. Adjust the bag to the size of your beamers and your needs.

With detachable shoulder strap and padded handle

To protect the sensitive housing of the projector from scratches, there is even a small extra pocket for the zipper, in which the lock is simply plugged. Whether you prefer to carry the bag in your hand or over your shoulder is up to you. Thanks to its padded carrying handle and removable shoulder strap, both are easy and, above all, comfortable.

Space for additional accessories

The projector pocket not only accommodates the device, but also other accessories. Whether document compartment, front pocket, mesh pocket or removable cable bag – the projector bag leaves nothing to be desired.

Really pleased with this projector, only weakness is that its a bit fiddly to set up with your PC, but once done it does a great job. Used extensively for business meetings and presentations. Highly recommended.

Writing the review after receiving so much feedback from my questions regarding the fit size. I highly recommend getting the large case just to fit wires, cables, etc. All in neatly and optimising the padding to accommodate. Had no issues with the case using an optoma hd143x projector.

This is a fantastic bag with lots of space for the extras I need, like an extension lead; to go with the projector that I bought it for. Thanks a lot. Well worth the money.

I recently bought a Optoma 184X projector for home cinema use and I needed a carry case to store and transport it safely. The manufacturers own brand case was ridiculously expensive so using the dimensions of my projector as a guide, I began to search for a suitable one. I came across this Hama range of cases and chose the large model. Its a little bit bigger than I would have liked but the medium sized version would have been too small and I did not want to “squash” my new projector into it. The larger size is not really an issue because instead of using the separators to make up the internal accessory compartments, I used them as packing instead. There is still plenty of room to store leads and things in the internal zipped compartment built into the lid and I have tried to show this in the pics I have posted. Its a very well made case with decent zips and reinforced edging and corners. I used the thinner internal removable padded divider as extra protection for the lens side of the projector. The sidewall padding is also more than adequate. I’m very pleased with the case and for the price I paid for it and its size, it really is great value for money. Hopefully, the pics will help anyone make a decision whether or not to buy one who has the same or a similar sized projector. Just for reference, my projector sizes (accurate measurements taken by myself) are … 325mm x 260mm x 112 deep. It is quite a large one compared to some mini or compact projectors. The internal dimensions of the case itself are … 380mm x 320mm x 140mm deep. Again, I hope my pics will be of help.

Top quality bag to fit your projector in. Comes with foam supports inside that can be moved around and velcroed anywhere you want. Plenty of pockets, and a case (similar to a pencil case) for remotes or whatever. Also has a strap. Very nice, lightweight strong case.

Bought this for Optoma HD28 DARBEE projector may also use it for HD39 DARBEE if that fits .The bag would hold one projector and 2x pairs 3D glasses a remote & some cables. The bag is being used at the moment to store all the projector accessories cant believe it all fit in 5x pairs 3D RF glasses 5xpairs 3DLINK in hard cases assorted connecting cables usb charging blocks & cables etc.Good little bag has a velcro strap for the projector to hold it down and some buffer pads to stop other contents moving around .The bag is sort of ridged & should offer enough protection for transport or storage when needed.

Before ordering I measured my NEC projector and then chose this Hama Sportsline bag. It is exactly what I was looking for. I had transported my projector around for years in its original cardboard box and wish I had ordered this long before now. Everything fitted in perfectly – projector zapper, cable, connector to laptop, presenter/pointer, memory stick – plenty of room and excellent padding which can be moved around to secure all the equipment. I cannot praise this bag highly enough. I am absolutely delighted with it, at a very reasonable price and it arrived within four days. I shall feel very proud carrying this bag to my Powerpoint talks – a truly amazing product.

Treated myself to a projector and wanted a decent storage solution as I had no plans to ceiling mount it. The Hama case is perfect. It has customisable (velcro) inserts to suit the size of your projector, as well as a few pouches and a zip up bag which nicely takes a pair of 3D glasses.
Not sure how well the bag would stand up to transport on bumpy roads (or airline baggage handlers!), but for me it’s perfect. Recommended.

The bag itself is excellent, plenty of pockets and a divider. Strong construction and material.
But it is a bit tight for my projector, a WiMiUs P18, and the hold down belt does not meet over the projector frame. I tried it both across and along and, as the projector is wider side to side, in the along direction it takes up too much room. Across it just fits but the hold down strap fails to overlap over the projector body. The divider is also just too short to give a decent fit.
Fortunately I have plenty of hook and loop tape so I will replace the bits that don’t work well.

I took a risk. It paid off. Epson EB-X11 projector just fits snugly in the bag, with cables in pouch next to it. Well made and I’m very happy with it.

A carrying bag of decent quality for the price point, providing a safe and snug fit for my Optoma HD 114 projector with just enough room for the lead, for which a separate, lightweight zipped bag is provided, along with a movable divider which fastens by velcro to the bag interior. A netted section in the case lid is useful for a small amount of paperwork or slim accessories and an outer velcro fastening pocket is just large enough to take an HDMI lead..

This was well priced when I bought it, and is capacious enough for most projectors. I use a medium sized Optima projector and it fits inside with plenty of room for cables, an extension lead and even some plastic cable trunking! The adjustable inserts mean that you can stop the projector from sliding around inside, along with the velcro straps that secure it in place. The sides are sturdy enough for normal use (it’s not as solid as a flight case) and are quite rigid. It’s not going to win any awards as a design classic, but to transport a projector and kit it is superb. No regrets at all.

Just received this bag and it is perfect for my needs. It fits the Optoma HD141x projector very well and it comes with 2 cushions to pad out the sides and a divider to split the case to compartmentalise it perfectly for your particular projector. Everything provided is velcro so you can easily adjust for any size and there is a velcro strap to keep the projector in. It also has a small bag to put the power cable in. There is a mesh pocket on the top for even more cabling or books and a side pocket on the outside for more storage although both of these are very thin. I’d recommend this case over the smaller one as it gives you that extra space for all of the bits and bats your projector comes with.

This is perfect for my Acer projector.
There is plenty of space to store, my Lazer pointer.
A complete set of long leads – USB A to Micro B (to plug into the projector and laptop), 5 Meter VGA lead, 5 Meter DVI – HDMI lead, Mac DVI and VGA adapters, Mini-Display port lead, Audio extension cables (5 meter) And power leads, including power extention lead.
    and Kensington security lock.

There is still space in the case, so whilst it is fairly fully, it’s not bursting. This case is idea for larger projectors as it will let you store everything that you could possibly need without squashing stuff in tightly.

There were event a couple of think padded dividers that turned out to fit my projector perfectly into the bag.

Impressive case with many nice features, but size given is so precise that the projector which I felt would be a snug fit including cables, only just fits (at a real squeeze). The material being new has little give to accommodate my projector and this does have an impact on the contents.
If I had a slightly smaller projector I may have given 5 stars BUT and not sure that the protection in the base is sufficient to warrant a top rating. However for the price I shouldn’t really be so mean as it appears well made with good features and is a nice compact size to carry around.

I needed a new bag as the one supplied with the projector was rubbish.

The main compartment provides an excellent fit for an LG XGA/OLP (26cmW/21cmD/18.5cmH) plus power cable whilst the cable linking the projector to the laptop fits into a pocket on the inside of the opening lid. Plenty of room whilst keeping the various components snug and well protected – almost tailored for my gear. The build quality looks to be pretty good too.

At this price it is very good indeed.

Does what it says on the tin – although I was disappointed that the pockets were flat, so don’t expand to accommodate contents, like the power cable. However, I overcame this by removing one of the large pads from inside and so suits my needs now. Nice and light too, so the lightweight projector doesn’t suddenly become heavy because of the bag. Yes I would recommend this.

I’ve been caught out before when buying a carrying bag for electronic equipment – generic claims that your make of kit will fit their design, but the Epson EB-S02 projector is a good snug fit in this bag when using the two (supplied) foam spacers, at the bottom to absorb shocks when lowered to the floor. The front pocket has room for a long-ish USB type A to B lead and the remote control, though not for your sandwiches or flask of coffee. The mesh zipped-pocket inside the front cover would be ok for a small amount of paperwork (e.g. instruction booklet) if required. If I needed another, I’d get one of these.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWas going to purchase the Epson bag for my Epson EBS02 Projector, till I read the reviews, so looked at other manufacturers products. Saw the Hama Projector bag-medium, again read the reviews, which also said, like the Epson, the projector was just a fit, and difficulty getting in all the leads and documents. Saw this Hama bag-large. glad I decided to purchase this for a ‘s more. Glad I did, projector fits in perfectly, and secure with the straps. The leads and cables fit in down the other side of the divider, and documents, etc, fit in the inside pocket, in my A4 document holder. There is additional room on top of the projector for any other items to be stored, Which leaves the two outside pockets free for any other documents required, like the programme/presentation notes, etc. Glad I read other users reviews first, otherwise might have been disappointed.

I bought this as it was recommended to go with the Epson EB-X02 projector and whilst its big enough to hold the projector, the additional foam padding needed to be removed. This left just enough room for the remote and cables… JUST.

Its great quality, its nice and does the job but I feel it’s not quite big enough for that projector.

Will I return it? No. It does the job and it is needed.

Marks out of ten… 9/10 due to the poor recommendation.

Had it fitted perfectly with foam padding… 10/10

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWould have liked if the internal dimensions were available while deciding to purchase.
The bag does take the EPSON projector I have – but just about. There is hardly any space left for cables and the remote that has to go with the projector. There are side pockets – but when I put the cables in them there is a rather unsightly bulge in the bag – this is because the side pockets are designed to take a couple of documents rather than a cable with connectors at both ends.
My projector can have both VGA and HDMI interfaces and hence I need to put both a VGA to VGA and a HDMI to HDMI cable – and bearing in mind that it also needs the power cable, there is hardly any room left in the bag – may be I should have gone for the large size bag. This brings me back to the point about lack of internal dimensions.

I bought this bag at the same time as an Optima DS 2500 projector, for business use. I need to travel by public transport to make presentations carrying both the projector and a laptop and other materials. The bag is fine and does all that I need it to do.

Difficult to get too excited by a bag – but its a good, serviceable product at a decent price

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI got this bag for my Benq MW516 DLP Projector. It’s not one of the smallest on the market so this bag is a perfect fit, as i am able to fit all its accessories. It has a compartment specifically for accessories. The main compartment is coshioned with removable cushions should your projector be larger than mine. However I do not think you would have to remove the cushions as they are soft enough for the projector to stretch into.

You have a pocket (with a cover on the outside to the bag when the bag is sat on its side) which is large enough for documents. More space for documents in the inside pocket as well as at the back.

    Update on 27/03/ 2015:
Bought another one for my new BenQ TW523P HD Ready Projector. It’s great, though had I known, I would have bought the medium version as this Projector is smaller than the MW516. Regardless, it’s great and with restraining straps, it’s secured and well cushioned as I am able to recreate space inside the bag. It’s great that you can customise it.

The bag is well stitched to last longer, with strong handles, and the material looks good but it’s not one of the most attractive though it’s far from being ugly, with the HAMA label to give it it’s mojo.
