I have bought this makers taps before and have had no problems. However, 6 hours after installing and commissioning the tap, the customer turned the tap on and the spout flew off spraying water everywhere. She turned the tap off and called me. I found the spout retaining screw had not been fitted correctly. I rectified this and now know to always check it in the future. I was going to give 3 stars but hopfully a one off.

There is a special place in hell for the designer of this tap! I’m an engineer with 30yrs experience and I found it difficult. You need two people to fit, it’s not the usual bolt through design, it relies on a screw in fixing. Much patience and a tap spanner needed.

It’s a great tap. I just wish people would fit it correctly! Just the small rubber washer goes under the tap on the sink top so it’s chrome to chrome. The rest go under the sink, the big rubber one then the metal washer and last the plastic screw.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI installed this this afternoon.
The fittings under the tap were different to the one I removed – this one is tightened by hand.
The tap itself seems really good quality and it’s all working fine.
It is however a little wobbly and I suspect this is due to the different fittings. The placement of this tap is on a stainless steel kitchen sink. I suspect it would be more stable if attached directly to a worktop or similar.

So easy to fit! Brought to fit in another tap attachment that didn’t fit my old tap and this is loads better than my original for such a brill price

Not as easy to fit as the instructions make it sound, the tightening of lock nut is quite difficult. I love the tap & the look of it .

Very pleased with this tap. It was bought for our utility room and is far better quality than the more expensive tap in our kitchen.

Very good value for money. Particularly liked the aerator and the fact it comes with new flexible hoses

Because a connection part was missing we were sent a brand new tap with all parts.

Will be using this company for all our future tap replacements when possible.

looks great and was a fair price, ive had it fitted for about 1yr now maybe a little longer but deffo not 10yrs. The tap ball joint is now starting to leak, only small drips at the moment. not tried claiming the 10yr warranty so would be unfair to say the company would not fix it as they may very well send a new one, i just aint msgd to find out.

    so would still say 5*

Cheap and good. Need to change water tap every few years.Even expensive one ,the water tap always leaking, compared the price from somewhere else. The value and reviews made me chose this one , happy to own it.

This was to replace a similar one that had seen better days. I like the uncomplicated design, it works well.
No tap turning so would suit anyone with arthritic hands

Have had to replace kitchen taps before and was a time consuming task (due to fiddly nut underneath the sink and very small work space) so I’ve put replacing mine for the last 18months. For the price of this tap I thought it would be worth doing. It arrived yesterday and took about an hour to fit today, vast majority of that time was spent trying to get the old one off. Very easy to install with the large screw fitting which I was pleasantly surprised at, took me about 10mins – if that – once id attached all the pipes into the tap.i didn’t use the hoses that came with the tap due to them not fitting the pipes under my sink but was able to use the ones from my old tap. Looks good time will tell if it lasts but supposed to have a 10yr warranty but so far happy with the purchase

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprising straight forward

For the price the tap is excellent value. Reasonably easy to fix. The only negative is the flexible connecting hoses which do not tolerate bending much without kinking and blocking water flow. I ditched the ones that came with the tap and bought higher quality connecting hoses and all was well.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersPretty good tap and does the job….. Bit fiddly to fit and my advice is make sure you have right length of flexi hose before starting as ones given are short.
I really like the feel and look of it and you can’t complain given the price.
Instructions not very good so I worked out my own method
Fit first flexi hose to tap… Blow through it while opening hot then cold to see which pipe goes where,
I had a towel on draining board to place tap while fitting it all together
Fit first flexi hose to tap.
Feed other end through silver metal tube with thread and with thin small sealing ring
Lie tap on drain board and place end of flexi hose through hole taps fitted over and
Underneath put the rubber ring, metal ring and black tube on flexi hose then from underneath fit second flexi hose through black tube, metal tube and rubber ring and feed it up through the hole for tap…. The 2 hoses will stop the black tube slipping off…. Once above sink feed it through silver metal tube with the small rubber ring and lift tap to screw second flexi hose to it now screw silver tube to tap, place thin band under tap in the slot it sits on and feed it all through the hole taps going on and now underneath sink screw black tube to silver tube, it’ll have the metal ring and rubber ring above it obviously … It’ll secure tap… Took me a while figuring this out lol and hope this helps… Now all needed is fitting to water pipes via isolaters, turn water on slow and test…. I love the look and for 25 quid… Wow… I spent 100 on a diva tap before this one… Well worth the money and can’t believe so called professional plumbers had trouble with this… Im not a plumber and did it without the lame instructions.
Delivered in a decent package too protected with foam.
    Good luck fitting guys

Added revised review after couple months use.
OK to adults but if kids using don’t use… I’ve found the neck at bottom of tap loosens and the plastic nut underneath holding tap loosens too…. It’s ok if you like tap and are careful with these considerations but if you’ve kids your gonna have issues…. Im personally gonna have to change mine for that reason and I think I prefer the taps with separate taps rather than the single tap like this

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWhat a fantastic tap, and great service.A five star review, not just for the tap but for Amazon too.
First day on site in our caravan, the washroom tap split and began leaking. I managed to blank off the pipes but we had no water to the washroom sink.
An original replacement tap was above 80, with nobody holding stock anyway.
So ,straight to amazon. At 20, I was expecting some cheaply finished badly made tap that would do just as a temporary measure. However, it is such a great quality domestic tap that it will be staying in place, and when the caravan kitchen tap inevitably fails, I will replace it with another one of these.
It’s extremely well made, with absolutely no play or slack on the swivel faucet. The tap control has a lovely positive, solid feel to it and allows easy and accurate mixing of hot and cold water, and flow rate. The chrome finish is faultless, and it really looks the part. We have taps at home that cost 5 times as much as this, and this looks and feels every bit as well made.
Its also so easy to fit, with no tools required. The quality stainless flexible tails supplied terminate in a standard 1/2″ tap fitting, and the other end screws securely into the tap body by hand. The plastic locking collar is moulded to be gripped and tightened securely just by hand, and the spreader washer and rubber seal really seat it down firmly without any further sealant required.
Fitting took no more than 5 minutes in the existing hole. If you have to bore a hole as well, then it would be a 10 minute job start to finish. It really is that easy to fit.
A note for caravaners, I did have to buy an additional pair of fittings, some john guest 1/2″ tap to 12mm push-fit, to connect the tails to the caravan pipework ( see the picture) . I think they were a tenner and it all went together with no dramas. I didn’t even have a spanner for the 1/2″ tap fittings, but the rubber washer supplied in the tails is so good that I could wind them tight enough to seal just with my fingers.
Fantastic tap, easy to fit, perfect finish.
Oh, and the five stars to amazon? I ordered these at 7.00pm on the platinum jubilee Thursday, they were delivered to a local drop point and ready for collection by 4.00 pm next day, in spite of it being platinum jubilee Bank Holiday Friday.
Holiday saved, caravan repaired, what can I say?

A great tap, and a five star review not just for the tap but for Amazon too.
We arrived on our caravan site and the washroom tap immediately split, leaking water everywhere. I managed to blank the pipes, but it left us with no water to the washroom sink.
A direct replacement tap was over 90, but nobody was holding stock.
So, straight onto Amazon. I found this tap and for 20 I was expecting a cheaply made, poorly finished tap that would do as a temporary replacement.
I was wrong. The fit and finish are amazing for the price. We have taps at home costing 6 times the price of this, and this one is every bit as good.
It feels very solidly put together. The finish is flawless, and the tap control has a heavy, positive feel making it easy to accurately adjust the mix and flow. There is no play or slack on the swivelling faucet, which also has a nice solid feel to it. This tap is so nice that we will most definitely keep it as a permanent replacement replacement, ad when the kitchen tap inevitably fails, I’ll replace it with another one of these.
The major plus is that it is so easy to fit without any tools. The quality stainless flexible tails screw into the body and seal by hand. The plastic locking collar is moulded to be gripped and tightened securely just by hand, and the spreader washer and rubber seal really seat it down firmly without any further sealant required.
A fantastic tap for the money, and it took less than five minutes to fit into the existing hole. If you need to drill a hole for it, then it’s a 10 minute job start to finish.
A note for caravaners. I had to buy an additional pair of fittings (john guest 1/2″ to 12mm push-fit) to adapt the tails for the caravan pipework (see pictures). They were a tenner for the pair and it went together with no dramas. The rubber seal in the tail is such good quality that I even managed to attach the john guest fitting tight enough to seal just with my fingers.
A last note about the service. I ordered these on platinum jubilee Thursday bank holiday at 7.00pm. The were delivered to a local collection point by 4.00pm the following day, platinum jubilee Friday bank Holiday.
Great tap, great service, Holiday saved.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought this to replace a similar tap that I’d bought from a plumbing merchant for considerably more but was of equal quality. That one lasted less than 2 years and was constantly dripping. I hope this one lasts longer but we have bad water quality so I doubt it. For the price if it lasts 2 years that’s fine. Never changed a kitchen tap before but it wasn’t too hard. Only issues were that the parts supplied didn’t quite match the instructions. Also, the one hose was right against the side of the tap where the bottom screwed in so it wouldn’t catch when I tried. Had to use an old hose from the previous tap. Also, you can’t get a spanner up into the tap to tighten the hoses but it hasn’t leaked yet with just hand pressure tightening. It looks good, well made, good quality, easy to fit, great value, can’t really moan.
