I was looking for a good set of Sockets and I was looking at all my options and decided to buy this set. The set is very good value and the case is also well made, All in all I think I made the right choice.
Cheap and cheerful kit that does what is needed. Would buy agai
I bought this to be a basic set for a specific job, which I have not yet done.
I have tested the set threading three holes of different sizes in aluminium and that went well.
Decent little kit for price does what its intended to do if used correctly
Needed to increase the thread length on some existing bolts in 8.8 grade steel. Worked really well and cut the threads perfectly, aligning with the existing thread and pitch.
Delivered the next day to the Amazon hub, this item is good for the price and will do what I need it for, very pleased
It looks fine I haven’t used it yet
That’s why I have given it four stars
Good value and did the job I needed to do. Good starter DIY set imho.
Looks good quality, nice box to hold all the pieces.

Reasonable quality, although not too happy with the grip between the handle and the tap as it kept coming loose. Got the job done OK though.
I have tapped two holes in aluminium and it worked. The second hole was noticeably harder to tap and it seems that the tool got a bit blunt. I’m not sure it would survive tapping in steel.
