his keyboard is amazing with a very short actuation point which is very good for gaming but can be frustrating for general use. But the one major issue I have with this keyboard is that three is no real easy way to get a keyboard program/software to fully customize the RGB which I love and is so good and the actuation point which is not ideal for casual typing as even the slightest taps can lead to a mistake. The switches I have are amazing (gateron blacks) but I’ve also tried the yellows and I like them a lot as well. overall it’s a great keyboard and if you’re into gaming I do recommend i
Have had this keyboard for two years now and it’s great, especially for modding, being a plain GK61 style 60% means there are lots of things for customization, has standard cherry mx profile switches, usbc and standard clip-on stabilizer holes. there is software making lighting and macros easy but its not needed as it has its keyboard commands and lots of lighting options.
My problems were when taking it apart for deep cleaning the screws are soft metal so they have stripped and without the software its a bit of a pain to set it up
TL:DR great for price and modding
I use this for gaming all the time. It feels incredibly smooth and clean. The LED lights are also really smooth and the keyboard overall is pretty easy to use and figure out. My only complaint is that the instructions are somewhat unclear but apart from that very easy to use and overall a pretty good product.
My older son has this and my younger wanted it because they think it’s so good
its good but i would wait and get a apex tkl for fortnite
i use this keyboard for regular gaming – you can tell it feels like a budget board but for general gaming and not a high budget would deffinetly reccomend.
I love my keyboard, blue switches don’t sound great, loudness is good but just not a very satisfying click sound, space bar isn’t that good for clicks. I do recommend this as a first keyboard to get you started 🙂
Would be great if I could get the key sent out.
The stabilisers in this keyboard are absolutely terrible – super rattle-y any and in general just wildly unpleasant, however otherwise this keyboard is a great form factor for easy portability between computers. if you build a lot of PCs or work around them a lot this is a cheap and handy option for carrying between systems. If you’re gaming, I recommend looking elsewhere, possibly at brands such as Epomaker, or building your own – your keyboard is one of the most important tools in your life so get a good one!
And Better RGB Software And That Keyboard Can Be Found On Their Website Or Amazon. This Keyboard Would Have Been Better If It Had Better RGB Software Or If It Had A Lower Price.
Bought for my 11 year old to use in conjunction with his Xbox. It is perfect, good size and very hard wearing considering how vigorously the keys are used! According to him it’s easy to use and set up. It was a good buy and reasonable price!
perfect size for gaming, lots of features for rbg customization to suit your preferences. the keys are clicky but not too loud and feels really satisfying to use. perfect for gaming. can’t get any better for the price
HOWEVER, one word of warning – it’s a US layout. No sign key and the @ symbol is Shift+2, not Shift+’. Honestly though, for me this isn’t that much of a big deal. It actually still inputs as a sign even when I press Shift+3, and I’m kind of used to the swapped @ placement due to using Macs throughout my life. There is no # key anywhere so that may be an issue for some. I also had to play around in the HK gaming keyboard software to get the Up arrow to only input as / so that I could still type a question mark. Not a huge deal though and I just swapped Up to Right Shift in the software – it’s next to it anyway
As my first mechanical keyboard I am genuinely over the moon with it – the quality is great. There’s a tiny bit of metal ringing sound when you type (especially using the spacebar) but I don’t mind this. The RGB lighting is nice and has a good amount of different settings/colours to choose from. I would honestly rate 5 stars if I had actually received a UK layout, but consider my rating a 4.5.
I got the yellow mechanical switches and I love them! Overall this keyboard is very good for the price. Only downside is that the space bar has a very bad rattle and sound, need to mod to fix.
Besides the software for RGB being a little hit and miss, it’s a really good keyboard and highly recommend! I got the yellow switches and believe me you really feel the difference!
Top Quality!
Just been a day since I’ve been using it, but its an amazing product! Response time for a click is very high and the RGB lights work flawlessly. Would recommend the red one for anyone interested in gaming!
Update – been using this for over a year now. Still working flawlessly. Performs the same way as it was when I bought it. 10/10 recommend.
I have had this keyboard for about 5 months and it still works perfectly with no problems at all. I would really recommend this to anyone.
This keyboard is brilliant for the price and the red switches sound really nice. The keys stabilizers are also really good its just the spacebar that needs a little improvement otherwise the keyboard is great.
Lovely keyboard though!
