Bought this to replace a Draper hand drill because the chuk and gear mechanism was rubbish. This hand drill is well manufactured and is very sturdy. Good clean rotating mechanism.

This hand drill is ideal for drilling drainage holes in plastic tubs. On hindsight I should have ordered a drill with a bigger size bit, the holes that I drilled, with no effort, could have been bigger.
This drill works in exactly the same way. It has plastic parts but the bits that matter, gears, chuck etc appear to be robust and well made. It was very simple to set up and made light work of the first task.
I needed bigger drill bits for part of the job and it was no problem using them with this drill.
Definitely recommend this product for quick, lightweight jobs. Came next day delivery, very happy so far.
Intended for out door fixtures on wood surface. Have not started the job yet but this looks perfect.
