Controlled water delivery
Very ergonomic hose attachment with a trigger handle to precisely deliver the amount of water where required. Various spray settings allowing you to safely water your plants in the greenhouse and then, with a twist of the head, use it to clean the outside of the greenhouse.
Great improvement on previous spray gu
I realised a new spray gun was urgently needed when I discovered that, due to several fine cracks, I was getting quite a soaking as soon as I turned it on!
This new, improved version seems to be sturdier and with a rubber- like rim around the circumference, I feel it would be less likely to get damaged should it – inadvertently- hit the ground. I have a hose that reels itself in after use, which may mean the spray gun can bump along the ground, despite efforts to prevent this. So far, all seems good. All functions work well, and the ability to allow the water to continue flowing without constant pressure on the handle, is a great boon for arthritic hands! A good buy!

A bit big and no power setting

Well made; I didn’t want the all-metal version.
Good number of settings but even on full optput / flow rate (adjustable above handle) it’s a bit wimpy. The single jet is low power and so can’t really be used for light cleaning as my older cheaper hose gun was.
The lock-on is useful and easy to activate and deativate.
Great Value
This replaces my previous one which I’ve had for a number of years, it is very easy to use with a number of different spray options. I would buy it again.
I purchased this spray to replace the 50 Hozelock spray that had broken a lug of the trigger handle. I had phoned Hozelock first to see if I could get a replacement hand. As you can see the trigger handle is the same and it seems this is the weakest part of the spray that goes so it’s not worth buying a more expensive spray thinking it will last longe
Simple, variable, positive control.
Avoid getting sand or grit into the control trigger, it ids difficult to free if it sticks. Otherwise very capable delivery of a range of water patterns with separate flow control and lock-on feature. Much better model than lower priced options and very good value against higher priced ‘de-luxe’ options. Excellent product at a good price.)
Good but delicate
Product works well as sprayer and water jet etc. Downside is that is not very strong, so don’t drop it. This is my third one but in past have accidentally dropped them and they fell apart and could not be repaired.
We like these spray guns on our two hoses but they should come with a big warning to remove them in minus temperatures. Although we disconnected the hose and tap, there was still water inside and both of ours split! Will know next cold snap!
Difficult to beat the practicality of Hozelock
You always seem to have to pay a little more for Hozelock products, but I experience a lot of alternative guns and nozzles at my gardening clients. I take this, my own Hozelock gun, with me to use on jobs. This is noticeably lighter than the one with part metal construction, but has sufficient and precise spray patterns and is just as reliable and sturdy for my purposes.
Great little watere
Use daily in garden , easy to snap on and change watering types .
Seeds , soft spray , long fire jet ( great for lazy husband ) and rainfall for pesky cats that poop in the veg patch . All round gardeners friend .
So easy to use
A brilliant spray gun and so easy to use.. the choice of types of spray you require is more than adequate and you just click left or right to find the spray you want with easy to see images of the spray printed on the dial. Using this hozelock spray gun is so much easier and more convenient to use than the standard nozzle that came with the the hose and changing them over was easy toothe trigger on the spray gun is very smooth to operate and having used this for several months now, would not want to be without the instant on/off water control that the trigger gives you.highly recommend.
Difficult to keep it on the hose
I’ve tried four different Hozelock-branded connectors to join my Hozelock-branded hose to this Hozelock-branded gun. Of those four, with 2 it keeps popping off, 1 it leaks severely, and finally I found one that works OK (though I still did have to add PTFE tape to make it stop dripping). Now I *finally* got an functional combination, the spray gun works well. The range of spray patterns is useful and well designed.
However given how much I’ve had to spend on all these accessories, altogether I’m very unimpressed with the quality and consistency of Hozelock products.
Nearly perfect!
Bought to replace my old hose attachment, and this fits the bill – haven’t had an upgrade for some time! This fits nicely in your hand, very happy with the different types of spray. Two little issues which give it a 4 out of 5 – one is that on one of the settings it leaks from the head (although the other settings are fine), and the other is when you lock it so you don’t have to hold the trigger, it’s difficult to get it to stick – there’s a knack which I still haven’t mastered. Other than that, very happy 🙂

We’ve been using this with a Hozelock autoreel and so far we are very pleased with it. It has a number of different spray options and the mechanism for moving from one to the next is intuitive and easy to do. The trigger can be locked in position so that one does not have to continually hold it in ‘spray’ mode (where the water comes out of all the little holes rather than one nozzle). The only downside is that it does not seem possible to do this for other spray options. Hopefully it will prove sturdy and last – we have only had it for a month.
