The product arrived on time. The instructions where easy to follow when assembling the mower. unable to use the item yet due to weather but am sure it will prove to be a good purchase.
Easy to assemble. Lightweight. Fast charging battery that lasts for approximately 30mins, depending on conditions. It is also easy to fit.
Gives a good cut to the lawn and the upper arm can be adjusted according to one’s height……….so no backache. The only negative is that I find the box difficult to fix at times.
Great battery mowe
I have a smallish garden and this can mow the garden with 70% battery left. Does a great job. Only thing I would wish that it can cut a bit higher but worth the money.

A great product easy to assemble and leaves the grass looking good so much easier than a corded mower.
Ten times lighter than our petrol mower. This lawnmower has replaced the other two items.

The box is not solid
I love the mower but I’m disappointed with the box I was hoping it would be solid but it’s not the top half is but the bottom half is mesh and moves also blows out some of the grass , if the box was solid I’d give it 5 stars
Bought this to replace a Honda izy whose deck had finally given up and was full of holes. I could of bought a replacement deck but thought I would give battery power a try. The mower is very light and easy to push. The cut is good. It’s very easy to start with just the push of a button. The battery lasted long enough to mow my front and back lawns but gave up half way through me cutting my neighbours which I have been cutting recently. I have now purchased a second battery. Really pleased with this mower but I don’t suppose it will last the 17 years that I had the izy!
This lawnmower is sturdy, simple to operate and fairly quiet. The battery life is more than enough for small/medium lawns and has plenty of power. Only downside is it’s not great if the grass is damp. Before and after photos of grass attached if helpful.
Light weight and effective
My petrol mower came to an end so I was looking for a replacement, with the cost of fuel creeping up I looked into the battery powered ones.
I’m happy with my decision, it is super light weight so be good for smaller, older people. It has a safety key/switch inside incase children try using it and it lasts approximately 30 mins on one charge.
The cut is better than my old petrol mower and leaves lines too. It collects or mulches and is super easy to use, clean and put away.
The mower will stop if challenged with too tough a job and this also wears the battery more too.
The lines are majorly noticed due to the light weight of the mower.
I’d buy this item again if needed, happy with my choice.
Great cordless lawnmower for small to medium lawns
My Hyundai 15″ cordless lawnmower arrived today, less than 30 hours after I had ordered it online. The product is extremely well packed and was undamaged. The battery was already half-charged and completed charging in the 15 minutes that it took me to assemble the mower (no tools required). With battery in place and the handle fully extended, the mower balances perfectly on the carrying handle. The mower is lightweight in use and easy to manoeuvre. Plus, after 30 minutes there was still half the battery capacity left…..not bad considering that the grass had grown quite long since my previous mower packed up! The downsides? 1. It’s a shame that the locks on the handle have to be completely loosened to lower the handle for storage, rather than just flipping the large over-the-centre locking levers. 2. There is no spare battery provided.
I had a petrol Hyundai mulching mower before, when I had a much bigger lawn. In my opinion, this cordless mower has equal build quality and is perfect for small to medium lawns.
Brilliant mowe
First Cordless mower . Light weight compared to my previous petrol mower . Easy to use , easy to clean . Takes 2 hours to fully charge battery and can do both front and back garden lawns on one charge. Definitely recommend . Lower parts of handles were already assembled when it came not sure why and delivery was missed on due date , rescheduled for following day , but man turned up at 8:30 pm that day saying he had decided to deliver it instead of waiting until the next morning a bit odd
Good small mower for frequent mowing of small to medium sized lawn.
Handle assembly was a little tricky, but once we understood how the fittings worked, no problem! Love it’s manoeuvrability, that it’s lightweight, that I don’t have to worry about a cable and that it’s easy to clean. However, it is not good on really damp long grass – would suggest setting cutting height to high and accept that one will have to recharge battery during cutting. Battery lasts about 20 minutes so I have to be efficient if I want to cut the lawn using only one charge – will be considering buying a second battery for next years mowing season to enable me to cut the front lawn as well which, because we are a corner property, I normally use my petrol mower for.
This is a good lightweight mower, however it really needs a more powerful battery as if you have a slightly larger lawn or even 2 small onesI doubt that the battery will last. However if you keep your grass short and only cut when dry, you should be OK.
I find that I use position 3 on the cut height, if the grass is slightly long, and then go over it on position 2, it’s still 50/50 whether or not I can do it on one charge though and I have a small, very flat, lawn. It really needs a 60v battery instead of the 40.
It is very easy to put together and the handle collapses to make it easy to store. However when the handle collapses it hooks over the height control lever and normally moves it from your last position, you have to remember this when you next use it. Also with the handle down it’s hard to use the mowers carry handle, something that should have been sorted in its design stage.
Sturdy and easy to use. Not the lightest machine but not too heavy either. However, the battery is insufficient for me to cut both the front and back lawns on one charge (small front lawn and half as much again larger at the rear). This machine should be supplied with 2 batteries. Cuts well though.
This is a great piece of equipment from being easy to assemble (very little to assemble actually) and the way it folds and stores using very little space to the actual running of the machine is excellent. No cables to worry about and several height adjustments to play with. The first time I used it, I couldn’t believe how quickly I mowed the lawn and the striped finish was a bonus. Its so easy to manoeuvre. We have a small lawn and a medium sized lawn and it coped admirably. One full charged battery did both with 25% left. Brilliant!
Really well built battery mower which is very easy to manoeuvre and adjust.
Good size grass box and if desired a mulch function.
The rear roller provides a striped lawn.
The 40 volt battery lasts for about half an hour of constant use and recharges reasonably quickly.
All in all a very useful machine which does what Hyundai say it does.
Battery charger seems a bit larger than needed.
Cutting the grass without a trailing cable makes life a lot easier.
After unpacking the mower I found that the power cable for charging was missing, Contacted Hyundai and they are putting the part in the post for me, As it came with a nearly fully charged battery I decided to cut my lawn. First impressions were it is light and easy to handle, The blade I thought could be a little sharper as it was not giving a really clean cut, but that is a simple thing to rectify. Comparing it with my old Bosch mains lawnmower, it does not pickup the cuttings as well, and it struggles a bit on the 20 mm cut, But having said that my lawn is on a bit of a slope. I bought this mower because I wanted something light and easy to handle without the danger of cutting a mains cable. It is more than satisfactory for that, and a bonus it folds up nice and compact for storage. I can only give it a 4 star because of the blunt blade and not great at picking up cuttings.
Lightweight, easy and powerful
Having found a wired lawnmower impossible, to use, due to poor sight and general weakness, this product us wonderful. It is light, foldable and simple to operate with great safety measures built in. Battery lasted about 20 mins, so would advise a second one to avoid frustration.
My only small criticism is that the handle fixings are fiddly and come with no instructions for those of us not familiar with power tools. A simple sentence about how tight to fit them and which order to fold the handles would have saved a crushed finger! However, would still recommend this, it is way ahead of its smaller sibling and well worth the difference in price. I am very happy with this product and will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.
I”ve just received the mower and done a first mow, and first impressions are fantastic. I’d read some people had trouble fitting the grass catcher, so I thought it might take a lot of strength to fit, but it’s easy as anything.
I’m a lady in my 50s and find that, while I’d not want this to be heavier, it’s completely workable for me. It’s self-powered and so easy to mow a large area quickly, without getting too tired.
It’s super-easy to adjust the cutting height, easier than any mower I’ve ever had.
Edging is quite good as well, cutting very close even around curved stone walls.
My last mower was a corded electric, and the feeling of freedom with the cordless is marvellous. I’ll never go back.
It’s not a super-quiet machine, but it’s also not loud enough that I feel ear protection is needed. I’d say it is the same loudness as my old corded electric mower.
The only downside is the battery life. I’d estimate I got 15 minutes on the brand-new battery, cutting relatively short grass. I do wish this had 2 batteries like some other models. But the battery charges up quickly, in less than an hour. And I suppose it’s nice to have an excuse to take a break.

Oh how I HATED to mow the lawn with the typical (I’m sure everyone’s purchased one at one point) orange flymo ‘only hovers when you’re lobbing it up the lawn’ mowers… what a pain that was!
So lots of reading and consideration and I settled on this one – my parents have a Hyundai petrol mower with that self propel thing and it’s awesome!
This is easy to assemble out the box just tighten the handles and pop the box on the back.
To clarify the description – it DOES come with a mulching plug.
Charge the battery up, pop it in, turn the dial and off you go!
Has adjustable heights (easy to adjust) and isn’t overly noisy – I’ve tried mulching and mowing into the collector.
If I had to say any negatives? It doesn’t like the shortest cutting height and/or mulching on particularly mossy areas (i’m sure the same for other brands though) and the handles were a little tricky to tighten in place where they join the machine.
Would definitely purchase again. The booklet says the battery will take 1000 charges – even at 1 mow a week that’s the next 20 years sorted!
I have a large garden and I have been maintaining the lawn with a Hayter Harrier 56cm which weighs in at 58.5kg before the 80l grass box fills up. This said I purchased the Hyundai battery mower specifically to cut around the edges and fiddly bits. I chose this Hyundai for two features , firstly it is one of the shorter cuts 20mm as I need it to blend with the Hayter that cuts down to 13mm. Secondly was the back roller to prevent scalping when mowing over flowerbed edges. My overall impression is that this is a good well built mower for the price, and I do not regret my purchase. It is light and maneuverable and grass box is about right size for lifting when full . This said following is my list of niggles and issues.
1/ The battery life is not as long as expected being only about 20min instead of 30.
2/ Due to short battery life I have been trying to purchase a spare and they seem to be in short supply at the moment and they are more expensive than other manufacturers equivalent capacity batteries.
3/ Due to the double wall nature of the plastic deck the mower doesn’t cut very close to the edge
4/ Due to mulching blade it doesn’t always pick up leaves as well as I would like, particularly on the lowest setting. Set wheels higher and it sucks better and then the full indicator flap on the grass box also starts to work.
5/ Takes about 2.5 times longer to charge the battery than to discharge it.
6/ There seems to be no spare blades available for this mower yet, I presume it is too new, I have outstanding ticket with Hyundai to locate one. I hope a highlift blade will be option.
7/ If you want stripes the roller is not much good as the height is not controlled with the wheel height adjustment. It is spring-loaded so the full weight of the machine is not on it. On the lowest setting there is more push in the spring and seems to work ok to prevent scalping on edges.
8/ The blade is either made of softer metal or is thinner than the Hayter one so seems to dent and blunt more easily when you catch the occasional stone.
Good value for money but a little short on battery life
Loved it from the moment I’d got it assembled, charged the battery and set off to mow my new lawn. My lawn is far from large roughly 6m x 7m and l struggled to complete the job. Admitted it was the first cut and quite long. Since then I’ve had to cut the lawn twice a week on higher setting, even so l still struggle.
I thought that an extra battery would help so that I’d always have enough energy to get the lawn cut without worry. Only to find they were out of stock so that was that. Anyway its still good value but you may well need two batteries to complete the job in comfort.
Easy to use
I found this very easy to use and I say this as I am a 73 year old women who needed a mower without cables getting in the way!! I found the handles difficult to get right but fathomed it out in the end. You mustn’t tighten up too tight as it doesn’t work, just place in position required and tighten the screw not the handle (if that makes sense!!). A very good machine and not too heavy to carry and for the price I think it is very good. Quite impressed really!.
Was sceptical that a battery mower would be as good as it’s claimed but was so impressed. Had read the reviews and agree the grass box is a little difficult to attach but once you’ve mastered it, it’s easy. The grass box handle on the top is the only irritation, the one on mine is a loose fit so I think I might have to try a bit of superglue to help it stay where it’s supposed to but don’t let this detract from the excellent first cut this gave. My lawn was probably 4 inches tall in places so set the cutter height to be about 55mm – it cut like a knife through hot butter. Not only that, there was no grass flying everywhere as my old hovver mower used to spit out so tidying up at the end was minimal. I rate t a 4 purely because of the handle issue but it excels in all other performance. Would have no hesitation in recommending this.
