A voir…

othing fancy here…no light…no clicks…but it works great. Just read the gauge (a little larger would help) and you can see the torque level you are applying

    Klare kaufempfehlung.

It’s pretty accurate and does the job well. I tested this against a friend’s parktool adjustable torque driver. Measured up the torque using this tool first and the parktools pretty much read the same. Did the same test using the parktools first and this tool registered just a small fraction off at each setting on the parktool (4,5,6Nm). For 1/3 the price of the tool that does nearly the same job using an analogue gauge, this one is good enough for home use to make sure nothing gets overly tight or cracking seat tubes.

I work on a lot of my own bikes and family bikes at home. This torque wrench is easily enough for all my needs. Be gentle with it (I keep mine in a padded case, and I don’t drop it on the floor).
The only potential downside of this style of wrench is that in some situations it can be cumbersome to read the measurement. I haven’t found it to be a problem on bikes.

This is good enough for making smaller changes on the bicycle handlebar, brake leaver, seat post. Easy to use. It is a basic torque wrench, and don’t expect super fancy thing. The torque indicator is just encased in a plastic case, and that is about it.
But yeah, it is worth i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve kept this innovative little wrench in my bike backpack for a couple of years now. It fits perfectly into one of those pencil-sized slots that all decent bags have so it’s always handy for track-side as well as workshop tasks.

It’s darned accurate and once you figure it out, simple enough to use – set it to zero and turn, keeping your fingers away from the stem.

3-10Nm isn’t a huge range, but what we lose in range (this tiny thing isn’t designed for your crankset!) we gain in HUGE portability, meaning you can carry it around, making it perfect for road-side repairs and adjustments on brakes, derailleurs, as well as pretty much everything on your cockpit; levers, shifters, the lot. Most bolts on my bike fall inside the 3-10Nm range.

The rubbery slots for keeping your commonly-used bits in is a great idea, and I definitely don’t mind them being so tight I need to use another tool to get them out; much rather that than bits randomly falling out. Good design! Thank you!

On the downside, it can be a bit awkward to read sometimes and a tilting (maybe even LED) readout (V2.0 guys!) would have saved me a few odd track-side contortions.

Also the wee magnet that keeps the bits in place fell out after a couple of months of use and it was a real PITA to glue back in. In hindsight, a bit of blu-tack instead, might have saved me the swearing.

Aside from these minor issues, this is one of the best bike tool purchases I’ve made and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a portable torque wrench.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never ride without it.

Saves tightening screws too tight and striping thread on plastic items. Handy for home strip/fix of broken household appliances.

Just a little difficult to read the dial when a continuous turning motion is required for a correct torque reading. Sometimes it was upside down.

Easy to use, ideal for routine mountain bike adjustments two minor issues, difficult to read upside-down eg seat bolts and “bulky” design makes storage awkward when on the trail, hence only 4 stars for features / use etc. Otherwise it’s spot o

Bought this to replace a ‘proper’ torque wrench, which cost 3 times the price as that was not giving accurate readings.

Having read several reviews from bike websites decided to give this cheap option a try. Much more accurate than my previous torque wrench. Very happy with it so far.

For a precision tool it is easy and ergonomic to use,not used in “anger” yet but tried a few times and seems to work well. Recommended.

Very easy to use and ideal for working on a bike with an alloy frame where you do not want to over tighten bolts. I have not tested the accuracy of the torque but it is better than over tightening bolts and stripping threads.

Love this as it now gives a better idea of how tight things are with no damage to my carbon frame

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI needed a torque wrench for my bike and this struck the right balance between quality and price for my infrequent use. It’s a touch awkward to read, but at this price point, I’d trust the accuracy of this design more than that of a ratcheting torque wrench. The tool could be improved by the addition of a rigid protective case to keep it from getting knocked about when it’s not in use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor a new recreational rider it’s been a godsend — tho’ after the first few uses it became fairly redundant as I began to get a feel for the appropriate torque levels. Useful to have it around as a check, though, and very glad I didn’t leash out 2 or 3 times more for the full-blown workshop equivalent.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis wrench has noticeably bulked up the tool roll in my mountainbike backpack but it’s a price I’m willing to pay. I have to confess to being a total torque nerd so this little beauty gives me peace of mind for most of my trail-side tinkering. It’s pretty accurate too as I’ve tested it against a Norbar torque wrench. Compared with ‘Park Tools’ offerings this is a clear winner in terms of torque range, versatility and value for money. I never ride out without it.
