Youtube streaming from Birdbox - This made it happen! I am by no means a streaming expert, but we have a bird box in our garden which connects to our TV. However I had no way of viewing this during the day when I was at work so after some googling I found I needed this Video capture card to stream live from my bird box to youtube. Once I downloaded the streaming software and connected the video card the video appeared and the rest is history. Very good quality and also got the card on sale for a great price. For the bird lovers reading this I was able to watch my family of Bluetits fledge in Surrey…..from Austria while away for business 🙂
Very good Still required installation of software in order to function and has a tendency to get very hot when using. Other than that it’s super. Very clear display on the laptop. Instructions were clear enough. Does the job well.
Amazing Does the work and is really cheap. I didn’t expect such a good quality but it worked very well and provided a good image while streaming my Nintendo switch game! Would definitely recommend if you don’t want to spend too much on a capture card
CCTV DVR to PC I must admit, I was slightly dubious, after seeing that the item was “Made in China,” after being conned in the past with similar looking items. (4 Video input, to USB. Dongle.) However, I needn’t have worried. I plugged it into my secondary PC, then plugged the HDMI into the DVR. The device was immediately recognised by the software. (iSpy Server.) It was so easy to set up. Running iSpy server, on my spare PC. It meant that I was then able to pull up the picture on my main PC. Running iSpy. This gives the option of making the pic a small image in the corner of the screen. After spending what seems like “Months,” trying to get my CCTV as I wanted it. This little device saved the day. I cannot recommend it highly enough…
Laptop Monito I can’t comment on the main uses of this product, but it works for what I wanted.
With some googling and stuff, I set up OBS and this little device, and managed to set up my laptop as a monitor for my Nintendo Switch; this gives a much more readable screen size.
Worked great - no issues at all I bought this to livestream a cricket match for when we went on tour. It was easy to set up, no issues at all, and the picture quality was great. It streamed for over 6 hours from a laptop set up outside on a hot day, and it stayed cool to the touch throughout. No glitches or problems whatsoever.
Good value for money I bought this to connect a firestick to my pc. Easy enough to set up once you realise that the software the instructions refer to is OBS Studio. Why they omiited this bit of information I do not know. Obviously translated from Chinese directly to English which did leave me thinking “what???” a couple of times.
All that said it gives good picture quality and is extremely good value for money. Don’t know about reliabilty yet but we’ll see.
Amazing little device for the price You can’t expect amazing quality from this, but for the price it actually shocked me how great it looked. It was easy to set up, and the audio and picture quality was a solid 8/10. The only problem is you keep having to unplug and plug back in each time you use it after shutting your pc down or else it won’t work. For the price though you can’t grumble.
I bought this USB Video Capture device to record videos from different sources like my camera, laptop and game console. It has a USB Type C connector and an HDMI input port. It was very easy to set up and use with OBS software. The video quality was good and the audio was clear. I gave it 4 stars because it did what I needed it to do. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a simple and reliable video capture device. Works as expected A lot of the capture cards on the market are larger and clunkier than this and many have a much larger price tag attached. I bought this so that I could record Nintendo Switch gameplay/stream it to my friends over call. Setup with OBS took just a couple of minutes (have to add it as video input, and also as audio input) and after that everything worked fine. I noticed no noticeable delay in what was coming up on the screen, it felt like I was able to use my laptop as a monitor to play Switch games. Very good for the price.
Good produc Turns out i never really need this as i chose to do something else but I am happy to leep it just incase i use it for the intended purpose.
This device + OSB + Correct settings = A/V works with Switch The directions left a big gap but the web had the answers, you just have to dig a bit.
To save some time, once you hook up the device, and install/start OSB you will need to add only the new Video source, then w/ that source selected, find the Audio mixer that matches the device you created > Click the hamburger menu (vertical …) > Select “Advanced Audio Properties” > the make sure the “Audio Monitoring” for the device you created(should have the same name) is set to “Monitor and Output.”
Enjoy playing your switch on your PC 🙂
Ordered this after trying Nikon's webcam app with my Z5 and in Zoom. The video seemed to be running at 5-10 fps rate with the video stuttering throughout. Also was a pain to get running in the first place. The Papeaso Video Capture Card was just "plug and play" with a great frame rate and very little latency to speak of. Tested with recording of card with desktop mic and handclap. Only complaint I have is that the saturation was quite high making me look red faced. I was able to correct this by adjusting the Z5's color temp but would have preferred not to. Still was a great buy for $20. I can remember when capture cards this good cost well over $100. Poor usb to thunderbolt adapte Use for firestick to macbookpro M1 using this as hdmi capture. Software needed OBS is free but very complicated learning curve and lots YouTube searching but worthwhile in end. But the usb to thunderbolt adapter is flimsy junk so I’ve changed to different usb to thunderbolt adapter. Now happy.
Worked perfectly Perfect little device to convert my Canon M6MkII DLR into a very high end webcam. Device works perfectly; the biggest issue we setting up the camera to provide the clean image I wanted. I say biggest; just needed to read the camera instruction manual!
This worked exactly as hoped. I plugged HDMI cable into it and plugged into my Macbook Pro USB port and the video showed up in Quicktime. I transferred over 50 hours of home movies without a glitch.
Somewhat reliable capture card for console footage on OBS. I bought this as an alternative to the more expensive capture cards on the market in order to capture footage from my PS4 to play games from it on my PC whilst also talking to and streaming to friends on Discord. This particular capture card works well with OBS studio; you can add separate sources for audio and video inputs for the capture card and you’re good to go for streaming or recording footage. If you plan to play games through the capture card please do be aware that there is some very noticeable latency (half a second to a full second), which could be difficult to play high precision games with (in which case I’d recommend looking into getting a HDMI splitter to play and record/stream simultaneously, but I didn’t bother with this, or go for a more expensive capture card to solve this). Overall, not a bad capture card for the price. Can’t speak for the longevity of it, I’ll just have to see.
Not bad for this price! I was surprised that this really works and this is a solid camera capture device for this price. If you want a fast solution for your problem, catpturing signal from your cam. Picture quality is decent, not for the highest demand but it works well, especially in with OBS studio. I am planning to by another one, to test if I can setup two cam sources with this two capture cards in OBS. I use it for streaming my dj sets.
I got this because my shoulders were getting messed up from my crappy old backpack. It feels great. I can fit 3 130 page notebooks with some smaller ones in the bag along with my MacBook and it's protection case. The front pouch has plenty of space and the side pockets fit drinks pretty well, but only one at a time. I no longer get shoulder pains and I feel comfortable going to college with it. Perfect for connecting Xbox One to Laptop Didn’t want to spend 100+ on one of these products so went with this one. The one is perfect at the moment, I’m able to play my Xbox one through my laptop as my monitor broke. Absolutely perfect, will comment again in around a months time if I remember about if it has lasted.
I think there may be some codec problems with this converter at times. I use it with my GOPRO HERO 5 BLACK so that I can have a high quality webcam. However sometimes there are green lines/static momentarily that flash across the video feed. Annoying, but I got something much nicer than what I paid for. I've had some bad experiences with these kinds of cables, but this one works like a charm on my Mac. I had to download a different capture software (wouldn't work with Premiere for some reason) but the OBS software was free, so no biggie. I successfully ripped about a dozen DVDs and a few VHS tapes and they all look great. I’ve had some bad experiences with these kinds of cables, but this one works like a charm on my Mac. My application is internal training videos. The goal is to eliminate glare and refection from my non-ideal work area. Just standard HD (1280x720) at slow 20 FPS. Plugged it into a Thunderbolt port so it has access to lots of bandwidth. There are pretty heavy compression artifacts which affects character edges and fields of smooth, even colors has waves in them. These affect readability somewhat and it certainly doesn't have the clean look of the LCD! Quality is not quite as good as VGA. I recorded with both VLC and OBS with about the same poor quality. They don't seem to provide any software to reduce the compression of the device. This is adequate for my application at the moment, and it's really cheap, so it works for me. Dece Items is easy to use, plug and play. It shows up as “USB 3.0 Camera” which is a little strange but whatever.
The price is low and so I wasn’t expecting top quality…just enough to stream from my Switch to Twitch. You can easily capture audio and monitor as well.
There are 2 problems I have with this item which prevent me from giving 5 stars:
1) There is a very slight delay between controller input and what you see on the screen. The description says there is no lag but that’s untrue. It’s fine on most games, but games requiring quick reactions are unplayable.
2) Quality isn’t super great. It’s good enough but not as good as described.
Overall, a good purchase and I will continue using. It’s solidly built out of metal and seems to be good rubber. For <$20, it's worth it unless you plan on playing racing games or something like that.
