Favourite speaker I have ever purchased
Could not recommend this product enough the sound quality is fantastic it goes up loud and the bass is great. Have had many people ask what speaker I have when they hear me playing music, very happy with the quality and I’m a music nerd!

It’s not often that I’m motivated to write a review on a product, but this is an exception. Someone at JBL has really thought about the design of this speaker. The sound quality is amazing and it’s super easy to set up unlike many Bluetooth items I have purchased in the past. My go to test is to play Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits. The mix of treble and bass is so good and if you want to crank it up it’s really powerful for such a small speaker.

Once you get the jbl portable app you can mess about with the equalizer as well.

Sounds nice.
I find the speaker useful for watching YouTube videos on my phone and want better audio quality than the phone can produce.
The audio sounds much richer with speech and you hear allot more low end audio.
The speaker sounds great with music.
The speaker is mono which isn’t an issue for me.
The very high frequencies are not as distinct as the could be which doesn’t bother me, somebody else may have a different opinion on that to me.
The speaker is well made and good quality it lasts a long time on one charge, i haven’t actually counted the hours but don’t feel i have to charge it too often.
Worth upgrading from Flip 5, clearer sound but bluetooth not bette
Got one and immediately preferred over the Flip 5 which has more muffled bassy sound but this is cleaner and overall more detailed. Ordered a second one to try out the stereo sound and it’s easy to set up and sounds amazing, can rival a small hifi in sound quality. Battery life is incredible, long enough without testing the 12 hour claims but the bluetooth connection is not as stable within normal distance as I would like. Looks much better than Flip5 also, has that extra wow factor.
Excellent Overall Sound and a Good Bass
Bought as a present for our 11-year old we were amazed at the quality of the sound. We have had similar Bose products and this was equally as good, but a bit more fun. If I was to split hairs I would say the higher tones on this are slightly clearer than my Bose products (compared to both soundlink micro and soundlink colour), but the Bose soundlink probably has slightly better bass. We love the fact that the end bits vibrate when it’s played, and you can also get cool coloured protection cases to match. Controls are also really easy to find and use on this. Great product and would happily recommend.
I get the impression that this product has been designed with hip-hop in mind, since the bass is unbelievably high, even after reducing it via the smartphone app. However, once your ears adjust it really is perfect. The volume can go loud enough to irritate neighbours 10 doors down the street, which seems a but unnecessary but hey ho. The battery life is incredible. Perfect for a bathroom, travelling or a student dwelling.

Two things yoy want in a portable wireless speaker. Sound and charge. Has both in abundance. Really like it. Easy setup and connection, plenty of bass, good mid and treble, simple controls and fantastic battery on it. Really good value and really well made.

I bought this to replace my old Flip4 (still works but battery life down). This sounds even better and can be adjusted with the App. Battery life is excellent. I have other more expensive brands but IMHO this beats them all at a fraction of the price.

This thing blows me away ,it’s amazing for something the size of a beer can ,seriously impressed with how much bass it kicks out ,OK it’s not going to replace your stereo system ,but for something you can put in your cargo pants pocket it’s incredible ,not cheap to be fair but I got a good deal at 75 quid ,I got white which looks cool but not sure how good it will look in a years time ,the carry strap is handy if there’s no where flat to set it down ,oh and the graphic eq on the app works well nothing fancy but just enough to get a better sound from what you are listening too, three band so basic but effective ,would love to get another to see what they sound like in stereo.

The letters JBL on the front of the speaker are huge. I don’t like the way they put blatant advertising on the front. I got the white version of the speaker and the JBL letters are bordered in orange, which makes them stand out even more.

I bought one to carry around the house to play some music on the background. I am astonished how good the sound quality is. How on earth they managed to make such a tiny small thing to sound so rich? The battery life is really good. It keeps playing all the 12 hours. I presume this is because I don’t blast it in full power. Luckily I am not deaf, hence I don’t need to crank it up to the max.

I love this product so much. The sound quality is absolutely impeccable. It’s that good. I’ve just bought a smaller version for my mum who is hard of hearing and since purchasing this for her she has really enjoyed listening to her radio as the sound and voices are much clearer for her. I would recommend the speakers 100% and give them five stars.

I don’t usually bother to review stuff but, wow! Incredible! I bought it based on the What HiFi review. Quite how this thing the size of a wrap makes this sound is amazing. It can fill a room with controlled bass and great detail. Don’t waste money on cheap wireless/Bluetooth speakers just buy the best and buy once., If you are prepared to wait a couple of weeks you can get one for 75 but at 99 it’s still great value.

I bought these Bluetooth speakers and am very impressed with them. I am a huge fan of JBL and these are not the first speakers I bought from them. However, the last mini speakers (JBL Go) I bought for my daughter disappointed me a little bit, so I was very curious about these ones. These do not disappoint: light, beautiful, clear sound and amazing battery life. Haven’t quite understood the app and why do I need it. Other than that, amazing purchase!
The sound quality although not picked up on the phone is very good, bass is low so if you like boom boom shake shake the room then this is not for you.
The most disappointing thing is the battery life, they say up to 12 hrs, but on 3/4 volume I’m not getting half of this.
You may get 12 hrs if max volume is 1/4 that’s loud enough in a quite small room, (going to sleep)
I’m using this in a small home machine shop so I need to over power my machines noise at 80-83DB and 3/4 volume does this nicely.
Luckily you can still listen to music on the charge, so I had a power bank hooked up so it never went flat on me.
Rating 4 due to the low battery life.
Great looking speaker with clear sound and a nice bass.
I own a flip 2 and this speaker is definitely superior, has the party boost feature which is nice and also has the jbl portable app which allows you to use the equalizer for more bass etc.. would recommend great speaker for the price!
Excellent Sound Quality
Just needed a robust, simple bluetooth speaker for Spotify and Podcasts, this little gem fits the bill exactly. No bells and whistles with google/sir/Alexa just the real deal – very pleased with this purchase

Probably the best portable speake
A friend of mine had the JBL 4 and I was really impressed with it, so I picked up the latest version and I really can’t see how you could make a better portable speaker (beyond extending the already impressive battery life). Taken it outside, camping, to friends houses, honestly it does everything you’d want it to do.
Great sound for a small package
After using a few USB speakers over the years this is by far the best one, sound is clear, the bass response sounds are good for a speaker this size and it’s pretty durable so will take the odd drop / knock without causing too much damage. I won’t drop it in the water but the specs say it’s waterproof. Happy customer.

Fiquei encantada com essa caixa de som. O som perfeito. Ideal para ambientes abertos e fechados. A qualidade do som continua a mesma. O som bem limpo, sem chiados. As laterais da caixinha chegam a estrondar com o barulho. S tem que ter cuidado porque ela redondinha, para no vir a cair no cho. J fiz um teste com ela ontem mesmo. Super recomendo!!!!
Perfect for trabel
It arrived within a few days. The sound is very good! I downloaded the app for the equalazer and it’s even better with that. The blue color is even more nice than on the picture.

Chegou em 8 dias aqui em casa, escolhi est JBL Flip 6, mas me arrependi e tentei cancelar, porm o vendedor j tinha enviado, uma caixa de som porttil, bem compacta e alta, com bastante graves tpico da marca e bons mdios e agudos,em suma uma caixa muito boa sim, porm cara pelo que entrega, um preo saturado parece que o consumidor compra caixinha mas tambm paga pela marca, o que eu acho, pra no ficar no prejuzo eu ia devolver, mas vendi pra minha me.
It’s not as good as my 6 yr old Bose Soundlink 2.
It’s decent, it’s waterproof, it has decent enough volume. Lots of reviews bang on about sound quality, it’s acceptable, but it’s not quite up to the quality of my six year old Bose Soundlink Two.

We thought the Charge 4 was good but this Flip 6 is fantastic.
So loud, so clear and so much depth and bass too.

Uma EXPERIÊNCIA sonora
J tive outras caixas de som portteis de boa qualidade. A JBL me fez ouvir outra experincia. Tenho ouvido musical e todos os timbres, instrumentos, frequncias so perfeitamente perceptveis. O volume no condiz com tamanho. absurdo!! Vale pena!

What hifi steered me on this purchase, love the fact it just does sound, no silly flashing lights. I find it reproduces flac and ogg files far better mp3 (even 320kb+) Iuse mine betwee 2-4 hrs daily and only need to charge it once a week, charge time takes about half an hour. can’t wait to get a second for partymode / stereo.

Me ha gustado todo. La batera dura mucho tiempo, ha sido usado en medio de un pantano donde se ha mojado (no sumergido) y fenomenal, en ningn momento falla. Es comodo de usar y tiene un tamao adecuado. Lo recomiendo.

Well worth the money.
I have had lots of Bluetooth speakers and have previously been quite price conscious and bought brands that sound OK but always seem to have issues with distortion and battery life. JBL is a Samsung brand so they have the expertise of one of the world’s biggest consumer electronics companies and it shows with this speaker. The sound is rich and full, battery life is good, it’s compact and the JBL app takes care of all the settings. Really impressed with this, so much so I’ll probably get another one to pair with it and use them as a stereo system at home. BTW these are loud, so expect complaints if you use one on holiday in a hotel room!

Echt Tob, wenn man einen 5 Band Equalizer benutzt, anfangs war die Lautstrke etwas seltsam regelbar, nach letztlichem Update eigentlich etwas leise, Aber ich bin eigentlich zufrieden! Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhltnis, wenn auch nach den ganzen Testberichten doch etwas schwach.
Die Akkulaufzeit bertrifft, bei mittlerer Lautstrke, allerdings bei mir die 10 Stunden erheblich, das finde ich sehr positiv.
Nach dem letzten Softwareupdate, hrt sich die Box leider nur noch kratzig (kaputt) an, das Klangverhltnisse ist kaum noch zufriedenstellend regelbar 🙁

Le son est trs bon. Les basses sont prsentes malgr la taille mais plafonnes au volume max. L emballage est en carton rsistant avec une fermeture magntique. Pas besoin d acheter une housse transport. L application jbl ne permet que 3 rglages. C est dommage.
Bom volume, graves tops, produto verdadeiramente Premium. O aparelho se sobressai em ambientes fechado com som muito fiel a msica tocada. Apesar de ser algo excelente ainda acho bem caro, a jbl agr virou marca de status como outras.

Ich hatte 2016 mal fr 120,- ne JBL erworben, die mir in verschiedensten Anwendungen gute Dienste leistete. Seit 2020 war der Akku im A…..
Ich brauchte eine neue Box fr die tgliche Arbeit – tglich 3 – 5 Stunden Musik hren oder “Sprache”. Ich hatte eine Tribit bestellt und die war nicht schlecht, hatte aber keine Stereo-Kopplung als Option. Ich habe mir dann die JBL Flip 6 bestellt und nicht ein lteres Modell, wegen dem neuen Hochtner in der Flip 6 .
Der Sound ist absolut ok. Sehr laut mit Bass ist nicht die Strke der JBL Flip 6. Mittellaut ist abwer gut. Die Mitten und Sprache werden gut wiedergegeben. Was mich nur wundert ist, die Bluetoothverbindung zickt nur rum , funktioniert nur nach 5 Versuchen. ts
Really pleased with this speaker. Loads of volume and the bass is great. Out side it can be heard nice and clear even when I’m at the other end of the garden.

Je n’ai aucune critique. Quel son ! J’avais la version flip 3 et je viens de passer la 6. Je ne pensais pas l’adopter aussi vite. Son incroyable, poids tout aussi lger que sa petite sur, facile d’utilisation, taille parfaite, beau design et belle couleur…. pour l’autonomie voir dans la dure mais JBL a fait ses preuves en terme de qualit (j’avais gard la flip 3 pendant plus de 5 ans)
ich hatte ja schon das kleinere Modell und mein Mann wollte unbedingt einen eigenen haben. Ich finde die Farbe sieht mega stylisch aus und es ist nur ein M grer aber die Klangqualitt ist mega … vielleicht ein bissel besser, als mein alter. Aber JBL hat es mit den Boxen einfach drauf. Ich find es gut und wrde es wieder kaufe
