It's a literal life change
This thing has saved me so many times recently. During the summer we kept getting invaded by giant beasts but then I ordered one of these. One of the best things I’ve ever purchased, don’t even have to get close to those giant things anymore!
Does the job. I am no longer frightened by spiders. When I see one now I jump up excitedly and get my catcher and out the door they go without any harm coming to them. Would not be without mine now. Caught large, medium and small spiders easily

Seems to work so far. Nice long handle. Cap falls off but isn’t actually needed. Haven’t tried to use the hook foe hanging it up as it looks very flimsy and other reviews have warned it’s useless. Glad it didn’t come with a plastic spider hidden in the packaging as some apparently do!

Does thejob
Handle could have been longer but it does the job. I hate spiders but won’t kill them so this is the perfect compromise. As long as they are outside and not bothering me, they are fine. So outside they go.
My life safe
As much as I hate and is afraid of spiders, I really don’t like to hurt or kill them. This really does safely pick them up so I can place them outside and they happily run off. Comes with a cap on the bristles to keep them from bending out of shape. Unfortunately mine came with a crack in it so is doesn’t stay of but this does it affect the quality of the product itself. I just stand it upside down to avoid damaging the bristles.
Excellent Value for a great produc
This product has given our daughter the confidence to catch the spiders in her bedroom herself. It catches spiders large and small and keeps them contained until you open the bristles and shake them out into the garden. A real game-changer for us as we have moved into the countryside!!
Had large spiders
Had large spiders in my house bought this and they then didn’t so up. Untill the other day and it worked a charm intially I thought I missed it as couldn’t see it in the bottom but didn’t want to risk it and emptied it outside and saw the spider run away.
Used for first time a few days ago as usually do the glass and postcard trick but this was one of those spiders that’s more like a daddy ling legs and was too high up – being afraid to hurt its delicate legs, tried this. Brilliant and he scurried out and across the garden unharmed (didn’t say thank you though)!
The day it arrived I had a visit from one of the biggest spiders I have seen.
It worked well but I was wondering if the bristles are indeed long enough for these monsters.
Does what it says
Great for catching spiders without having to get too close. It doesn’t hurt them either so you can put them back outside without harming them. It comes with a plastic cap on the end of the brushes – this fell off straight away but it is not needed. Made to hook onto the wall but that didn’t work and is also not a necessary feature.
This is such a simply tool that has allowed me to remove spiders from my home with ease. No more shouting for help to my family members to remove the spiders because I don’t really don’t like them. It has a long stick which means you don’t have to get too close. You open the lever, place the flap over the spider and let go of the lever. Then take the spider outside whilst it is sitting comfortably inside the flap, and open the lever once outdoors so the spider can safely run away unharmed. I highly recommend this amazing tool.

a humane way of getting rid of spiders from the house
I bought this spider catcher to replace our old one and it even picked up a small fly! It works well enough but I have noticed that the inside where the bristles are sometimes comes out from under the rim so I have to push it back in again. It is a useful object to have though and a more humane way of removing spiders from the house.

This is a brilliant item!
I have a huge fear of spiders and always have to get my husband to get rid of them on the room.
When he’s not around to remove them I have hoovered them up( which I don’t like to do as they are a living thing) so this item is so quick and easy to use to get rid of the eight legged creatures at arms length without hurting them too.
Although this is easy to use and removes the nasty bugs from the house with ease, just don’t try catching a spider when it’s on its web! Yes, it removes the spider, but when you try to eject it outside, it won’t go because of the web being caught up round the little spike things. Boy is it hard to shake the spider out! And then you have to pull off all the spider web too. I won’t be doing that again!

When I ordered i didnt really expect much but it actually works! You do have to be brave to use it but take the plunge as its a game changer! Dont be worried to use on the bigger spiders as it works best on them. If you miss on first try just grab again, truly is a kinder way to remove spiders
This spider catcher is really simple to use! If you’re a scientist and have used a spatula before you’ll find this catcher to be pretty much identical to that piece of apparatus!
My bedroom was crawling with a whole family of spiders and unfortunately, I’ve got to say this catcher doesn’t really work at all against small spiders :(. But against medium to big spiders, it works like a charm! Sometimes, the catacher doesn’t catch the spiders (no pun intended!) and you have to play a little bit of cat and mouse with the spider until you actually catch it! So cover every single part of your body if you’re really scared of spiders! Another great thing is that its handle is quite long so you don’t even need to get close to those little buggers 🙂
Overall, a great product, but if you have small spiders bothering you, you’re better off using a vacuum cleaner!
Already caught a meaty house spider and put it outside
I am terrified of spiders. I have had at least 6 meaty brown house spiders on the indoor walls this autumn so far. I ordered this and was actually excited as I waited for an invader. When it arrived in the porch it was huge and sitting half on the doorframe and half on the wall. I caught it no problem and it was wedged gently but firmly in the plastic catcher bit far from my hand. Turned, opened the front door (checked for more meaty spiders as that’s where a lot of them sneak in) released it on the front garden path and it happily ran away into some shrubs. Couldn’t praise this item enough! I did have some nightmares about spiders afterwards but that’s just me with arachnophobia, the product is fantastic having used it once so it seems as thought I’m set to deal with the invaders from now on…. It was worth paying the money!
A simple device for spider averse folks like me and the wife. It feels a little flimsy but as we aren’t trying to beat spiders to death it does the job. On first use I was a little light handed so the spider got away. The second spider was neatly captured and dropped out of the window. The device comes with a clear conical plastic cap to keep the filaments in a pointed shape. Unfortunately it’s a bit loose and falls off too easily, but that’s not a deal breaker. If using on textured carpet it’s not so effective as the spider can scoot through the gaps, so you might need to chase. I had a motor driven suction tube before which I really liked but its lost suck and new batteries made no difference. On balance this has less to go wrong.
