These gauntlets are worth every penny. I’ve bought several other pairs claiming to be thornproof only to wear through in minutes and puncture at the smallest of thorns. I’ve just worked ghrough a 20 meter long hedgerow of brambles hawthorn with just manual loppers without so much as a scratch.

If you want to move your ceramic plates in a hot bbq, the temp still gets through if you’re searing meat. Not to the point that it burns but you need to move quickly.
Gloves are comfy, fit my average sized hands and haven’t burnt with the high heat but not quite what I hoped.

I’m so impressed with the look and feel of these gloves. They came in a sealed bag and had a nice touch with a card from the seller thanking me for buying their product. I haven’t used them as yet but I will update this review once I’ve had time to wear them in for some welding work I’ll be doing over the next month or so.. I can’t wait to try them out.
It’ll be almost a shame to ruining them bcos they’re really nice gloves but needs must and I ain’t burning my hands or arms welding metal

If he told you to put your hand in the fire would you do it?? Well if you had this glove the last laugh would be yours. Great job

Bought this item for the dual use with multi-fuel stove and play with our dog. I find it good on both counts especially on the dog handling. Our dog loves play with his toys and can give a nasty nip if not adequately protected. These gloves have certainly saved me on a few occasions. Worth the money just for that.

I purchased as part of a gift but as far as I know they are good.

Bought as a gift for OH and he’s really pleased with them. Good quality gauntlets with lining, which makes them more comfortable to wear than some.

I bought these to use with my log burner and I am very happy with them. They are solidly made and give good heat protection yet supple enough to easily operate wood burner controls. Overall very pleased with them, excellent value for money

They are brilliant gloves! I bought so I would be protected when putting wood on the wood burner, and I’m absolutely confident using them. Very good quality and excellent value for money. I 100% recommend this company and product.

I bought these for plunging my arm into the log burner in the living room to add fuel to the fire or just rearrange what was already in if not burning evenly. They are fantastic. Haven’t felt any heat while using them.

Truth be told, I’ve only used the right hand, but would assume the left one would be just as effective.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThese gloves provide good protection for extremely short duration handling of hot items (specifically adding/moving fire wood with a poker).

They fail quickly however when used to move cast iron cookware when subjected to direct heat. As a result I would recommend strongly having the place you want to place your hot item clear ahead of time, and if you need to move between rooms and will be holding the hot object longer than 15-20 seconds, have a half way location ready also as you will start being burnt after 30 seconds.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood quality and just the job for opening and closing the log burner door. The long gauntlet allows you to put logs in and position them rather than toss them in before getting burned!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this product for myself, as I have a puppy (German Shepard) and he’s currently going through his puppy biting stage. So I needed something to help with that. This product definitely helps. When my puppy bites the gloves I do not feel it and he as quite sharp teeth. So it’s durable, convenient and definitely puppy biting resista

Cant comment on heat resistance. Used for gardening As far as brambles concerned no thorn penetrative. Very good padded pro5ctoo when sawing wood logs continuously. I havearge hands the glove could have been slightly larger. Happy with purchase.

These gloves had lots of good reviews, but with the odd negative comment saying they didn’t provide sufficient heat protection for some people. I’ve been using them in my new wood-fired oven and they’ve been excellent, giving great protection from the heat, including right up to my elbows, when using the peel to put pizzas in. I’ve not tried picking up red hot embers, but why would you??

The quality and fit are good too, as is the price, so I really would recommend them for this application, or for use with open fires, or wood burners etc.

First off, I can only comment on the heat resistance of the gloves. I haven’t had them long enough to talk about their durability and didn’t buy them for comfort.

Bought these for handling a multi-fuel stove in my home. I can comfortably grab vent and door handles, and burning logs for short periods.

They do heat up after prolonged exposure to hot surfaces (obviously), but cool down quickly once removed and don’t show any signs of damage.

After several uses there’s some slight melting around the fingertips where I’ve held a hot handle for too long, but I haven’t noticed any change in efficiency.

Altogether a decent pair of gloves.

I bought them to handle the ash drawer from our multi fuel oven. You need to be very fast to bring hit ash to outside. The gloves heating up very quickly.

Really great product just a shame on the right hand mitt my pinky finger could not go all the way down due to the mitt being stitched together half way down on the inside inside instead of at the top. Was desperate to use them due to nature of work I am in and we did not have spare gloves otherwise would of sent them back

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our Usersi havent used these much yet and as with all the other gloves i have bought in the past only time will tell. Previously i bought cheaper gloves i tried your typical red ones you see everywhere they wouldnt last long a couple of projects and you would have holes in the fingers or thumbs. i also tried some of those grey tig welding gloves again very cheap those resisted the heat pretty good but eventually the thumb blew out and were rendered useless.

I decided to buy these as i read a lot of good reviews they are not really expensive but the quality seems good and they seem more robust than anything ive had before but only time will tell. I bought these sept 2018 if your reading this in the future please ask the question will these last a long time and i can answer it.

i do arc welding and have the gloves really close to the heat they resist the heat pretty well although after some time they start to get hot but that does take quite a lot of time and considering im really really close to the heat i think they do pretty well, definitely better than any of the others ive used.
