Great fun with a variety of tools. I did add some more kinetic sand as you don’t get a huge amount but generally good value for money and great for kids that watch those asmr vids on YouTube and want to have a go themselves
Hours of fun with the sand and accessories. My son loves it and it has all he needs to spend large chunks of time playing with it. He is 4 but the adults in the house also have a good time playing with it!
You have to find a big tray to work with it, as it does go everywhere.
Guaranteed to make even the busiest kid sit still for a while, this has been so amazing for both my kids 2 and 4 yr old they love it, it brings brilliant calm to the house and i honestly feel they are in a better mood and more relaxed after playing with it.

KineticKinetic sand is cool to play with and can be quite messy, so it’s definitely a good idea to get a table cover. The sand is easy to mold and shape, and it’s really satisfying to watch it flow through your fingers. It’s also great for sensory play and can help kids to focus and calm down. Overall, kinetic sand is a great product and lots of fun to play with.
Our four year old loves this. The two separate colours for instantly mixed so now we have one box purple load of kinetic sand. She really likes the tools that came included, just needed help to operate the twisting tool. An old lunch box was needed to store it all as the card box didn’t last long. Good kinetic sand set.
Kids love it. Shame it doesn’t come with a storage case like others. Sand eventually ends up purple as gets mixed together. We have cream carpets and it hasn’t stained and brushes/vacuums away easily. Good selection of tools and reasonable amount of sand compared to other sets. Have stored sand in a resealable plastic bag when not being played with and is as good as new.
I bought this for my son’s 8th birthday. He’s always loved Kinetic Sand. This set is really satisfying as it comes with a really good range of tools. My son showed me how you fill the purple tube and release it in a cylinder shape. Then you use the green hemisphere to squash the cylinder. They have exactly the same volume, so it feels like you’re performing magic!! He loves the grinding mills, where you put sand inside and turn the handle. The sand comes out like noodles!!
There is a bit of mess. Cannot keep colours separate but spend hours of play. Much better to clear up as it sticks together much better than cheaper copies worth that little bit extra for 5e ease of clean up. Still some mess.
I’m still amazed every time I get the magic sand out for my son! He loves having fun with sand, filling up the containers, slicing it in half, pushing objects into it, driving cars through it or hiding little figures in it, I secretly love playing with it too, still can’t quite believe how it all sticks together but isn’t messy at the same time! Good play value, my son will happily play for up to an hour and it’s creative too!
My daughter had this for Christmas and has regularly played with it since then. Yes, it gets on the carpet, but we just hoover up whatever we can’t pick up. She loves the fact it’s 2 different colours. She still has the majority of it and it still has a good consistency to it. When it eventually runs out I’d be more than happy to buy more. This kit is definitely worth it!
As lockdown part 3 enters day gazillion, there’s only so much bad parenting, or lack of parenting even, you can impose upon a toddler by sticking them in front of a TV.
This arrived and probably half a day or so was spent playing with it on the first day. It’s not just good for the toddler, it’s also quite zen for adults to play with too, in fact so much so my toddlers back watching TV whilst I play with it…it relieves the stress of being a bad parent!
My disabled and autistic brothers loved it, they were so happy and enjoyed it, it makes a bit of a mess which is not a surprise, I really recommend purchasing large tray boxes, really large ones and for them to play it in them with disposable gloves on as I worry what could happen if some is consumed or put on the face by accident.
However I cannot wait to order more coloured sands and tools its a relaxing game my brothers with this amount lasted to play with it for nearly two hours, I believe if you purchase more colours and more tools they will be able to build more stuff I recommend this game for adults too to relax with
My daughter was addicted to this for about a week! But now that all the blue and red have completely melded together to make a purple concoction she has lost a bit of interest. I don’t know why I was under the assumption the colours would just separate – the advertising? It is great – but like play dough needs replacing on a semi regular basis.
The Kendrick sand is brilliant, my 5 year old daughter loves making shapes etc with it, she is very very imaginative with the kinetic sand, it is very very easy to clean up if any is accidentally dropped it is not sticky or slimy, plus you get quite a few shape making objects with it. Also it is very easy to scoop up and to put back into the bags they come in inside the box , and This would be very good as a Xmas/ birthday present also.
This set is so much fun! I bought it for my 4 year old and me to play together, I thought it would be less messy than playdoh.. it’s not but I much prefer this to playdoh lol I love playing with it as much as my little girl! You get lots of tools in the box and 2 bags of coloured sand, you get a good amount of sand in each bag. I have since found that if your child gets any on the floor it can stain your carpet when it gets stood on, I managed to scrub it out of my cream carpet with some antibacterial wipes though thankfully. It’s really nice to play with an keeps my little one occupied for a while, and me, it’s very therapeutic! I would deffo recommended.
The sand is brilliant, it doesn’t dry out, its clean and is easy to remove from clothes and carpets. You just keep moulding it into new shapes with endless possibilities. The sand lasts for ages too so is great value.
Two decent sized bags of sand included, enough to do some decent moulding.
The only negative is the device that you turn to create the sand ribbons only works if it’s half full of sand, if you fill it the sand just turns round and doesn’t come out of the end.
Hours of play for a great price and brilliant value for money. Definitely recommended.
