Some legacy chipsets/processors from Intel prior to 8th Gen have not been updated to support memory modules featuring DDR4 16Gbit density DRAM. Check with system or motherboard manufacturer for an updated BIOS to support 16Gbit DRAM.

1. The specification of the extreme overclocking modules listed on this page may be beyond the capabilities of your AMD or Intel system hardware. Careful selection of all system components (e.g. CPU, motherboard, PSU) is required to ensure these modules will function as intended. These kits are thoroughly tested and verified in the factory to run at the listed speed for XMP Profile 1. 2. As a backup, a 2nd XMP profile at a slower clock speed is included so you can still achieve great performance if your system cannot handle the highest speed XMP profile. We cannot confirm compatibility with all systems; these modules should be installed and used at your own risk. Only select AMD and Intel based motherboards are able to achieve speeds of DDR4-4000 and above. Check motherboard Qualified Vendor Lists (QVL) to verify Renegade high speed support on the motherboard vendor website and/or Intel XMP certified list. Premium system cooling (CPU and case) are required for high-speed memory stability. On Intel platforms, X or K series processors are recommended.

I ordered the 64gb (4x16gb) installed into pc, enabled XMP and these worked at the rated 3600mhz straight away. Why can’t all ram be this easy? I’ve experienced a lot of headaches with ram claiming to run at the rated XMP speed but won’t
Overall very pleased with the product .

Seems to be the best performance / value for money, and works great after enabling profile 1.

This ram works as expected and looks good in my computer.
I had some crashing issues at first but once I updated my motherboard BIOS the ram worked perfectly.

Installed these on an MSI B550 with latest BIOS, no issues, I manually set the speed to 3600 with “Try it now” OC option to get a slight boost over the stock settings timings with 16-19 over 16-20 default. These are quality, premium sticks, can tell from the weight and feel over competitor products and ability to overclock.

Works fine at 3600 MHz on an Asus Prime X470 Pro with a 3900X, so no complaints whatsoever. Also has a fall back profile for 3000 that I don’t need to use.

bought this memory kit to upgrade my PC for gaming and streaming. I was looking for some fast and reliable DDR4 memory that could work with both Intel and AMD platforms. I chose the Kingston FURY Renegade 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3600 MHz DDR4 CL16 Desktop Memory Kit of 2 KF436C16RB1K2/32 because it had good reviews and a reasonable price. Here are some of the pros and cons of this memory kit:

One of the pros of this memory kit is that it is very fast and stable, with speeds up to 3600 MHz and latencies of CL16. It supports Intel XMP profiles, which make overclocking a breeze. Just select one of the built-in profiles in your BIOS and you’re good to go. It also works well with AMD Ryzen processors, as it is compatible and ready for Ryzen.

Another pro of this memory kit is that it is very stylish and cool, with a fierce black aluminium heat spreader that keeps the modules cool and protects them from overheating. It also has a matching black PCB that blends well with your PC theme. The memory kit looks sleek and stealthy, like a renegade on a mission.

A third pro of this memory kit is that it is very durable and well-made, with a lifetime warranty from Kingston, which gives you peace of mind in case anything goes wrong. The memory modules are 100% tested at speed to ensure they are free from manufacturing and material defects. The memory kit is backed by over 30 years of experience from Kingston, which is a trusted brand in the industry.

One of the cons of this memory kit is that it is quite expensive compared to other similar memory kits on the market. It costs around 89 on Amazon UK (or $110 on Amazon US), which is quite a lot for 32 GB of RAM. You might be able to find cheaper alternatives with similar performance or better value.

Another con of this memory kit is that it is slightly tall, with a height of 42.2 mm, which might cause some clearance issues if you have a large CPU cooler or a small PC case. You might want to check your dimensions before buying this memory kit to avoid any compatibility problems.

A third con of this memory kit is that it might not work well with some older motherboards or BIOS versions, as it requires support for DDR4-3600 speeds and XMP profiles. You might need to update your BIOS or tweak some settings manually to get the best performance out of this memory kit.

Overall, I think this is a renegade memory kit that will make your PC fly if you want some fast and reliable DDR4 RAM that can work with both Intel and AMD platforms. It’s not the cheapest or the most compatible option out there, but it’s definitely one of the most stylish and reliable ones.

Fantastic dual rank ram! XMP enabled goes to 3200mhz, the recommended for my i5 12600k (and a bunch of ryzens as well). Could not recommend enough! Unless you want to overclock, in which case get the single rank Kingston beast instead. I don’t OC so this is just perfect.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWith 5800X, 3933C16-21-21-36-460 with 1.5V DRAM Voltage.

    With 13700KF, 4300C17-22-22-38-480 with 1.57V, or 5333C20-28-28-48-650 with 1.75V.
They are very similar in games.

Better to add a fan for DRAM with over 1.5V.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent kit, perhaps priced slightly higher compared to competition but worth the money in my opinion. My kit of 2x16GB 3600MHz is dual rank which lately is becoming a lottery and is more difficult to find. This is also a an absolute sweet spot for zen 3 CPUs 32GB/3600MHz/CL16/Dual Channel/Dual Rank. Highly recommended.

I ordered 4x 16gb RAM. I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s still working perfectly. Not that I need anywhere need 64gb but it’s nice to know it’s there.

Repurposed an old computer which involved putting new RAM and SSD in as this had been used in a new machine. Easy install as expected just clicked into place, plenty of performance whether working on Adobe Creative Cloud or gaming although I must admit it isn’t a games machine and the only game really is Lost Ark.
