How many sessions will I need?
Dermapen can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired result.
However each person has different skin types & concerns to address, your dermal therapist will conduct a skin consultation pre-session, and post session will able to determine how many sessions an individual will need to see results.
However, improvement is noticeable after just one session.

Great for scar tissue
I bought this initially to help with a couple of surgery scars that were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. I use it once every 2 weeks before bed and follow immediately with hyaluronic serum, then hyaluronic night cream. It is not a quick fix, but definitely helps. I have been using it about 3 months now and the skin is much smoother and just as importantly, the skin isnt puckered which makes it much more comfortable. I was so impressed after 3 uses, that i started using on a couple of stretch marks too and I am already seeing improvements in the depth and apperance. Very pleased, easy to charge and lasts several uses between charges.

It’s works great, but definitely buy some numbing cream first. Do not buy the bulk items as the nano rips don’t actually fit this pen… AMAZON before recommending a bulk but of 3 items see if they actually fit first… waste of money.

It does what it says, very easy to use. I have ordered it 2 days ago, today I was doing my first permanent treatment at home. So far so good, I would recommend this item.
Well I was skeptic but didn’t need to be. I first used it for a short time at 0.5 for needles and it was slightly painful. Next time I used it I put on a face mask afterwards and no pain at all. My eye bags have disappeared- miracle. I use the ordinary skin buffet and hyaluronic + Vit C seurum. My skin is definitely plumper and oh so soft. Yet to see an improvement in fine lines but I’ve only used it twice. It is so easy to use and comes with plenty needle tips. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Great product only wish I’d known about it years ago.

I have to say that I am really impressed with the device. It has made a real difference to my skin and it works really well. The packaging was good and the item arrived within the specified timeframe, so to be really honest, I can’t offer a suggestion to improve, only to say that I am a very happy customer.
I bought this dermapen a few months ago, and it’s been working well so far with both x12 and x36 needles.
I had an issue with both of the batteries failing after a couple of months (hopefully a bad batch!), but Koi’s customer service has been great and they’ve replaced both of them free of charge. 🙂

As a beauty therapist I am dubious of home use systems such as they inevitably are. I wanted to test this out on myself fully before I go and train with a professional company as it is expensive. I have used dermaroler for a few years now and always dread doing the treatment as it is fairly painful even with numbing cream. I used this product last night and even with a very weak numbing cream it is so much less painful than dermaroller. It is early days but the results seem good. The setting I used was 0.75 face and 0.5 for eyes I also used hylaronic acid serum, which seemed to clog up the needles so after a quick needle change I used it immediately after covering an area. My skin looked sunburned last night and mildly so today. But topped with pure mineral powder foundation to cover. I felt comfortable enough that it didn’t notice to go shopping. The machine is not industrial strength but handled with care and thorough reading through of instructions it works well. Considering one of these pens would set me back 900 plus training professionally this is pretty decent for me to try out. One point The needle setting length is difficult to read.

Nichts fr Weicheier? Quatsch, es klingt gruselig, mit den Nadeln, aber bis auf wenige Stellen am Nasenrcken, wo die Haut sehr dnn ist, habe ich nicht davongetragen.
Die Anleitung ist sehr gut, ausfhrlich, leider in Englisch, dafr steht im Angebot ja viel und einiges lsst sich im Netz lesen. Wichtig sind die Bilder, wie die Nadelfhrung am Besten gemacht wird.
Ich habe es mehrmals mit der Anleitung gemacht. Es sticht. Aber nicht mehr als mein Epilierer ziept.
Im rechten Winkel mit viel Druck, volle Geschwindikeit und Nadeln ganz herausgedreht habe ich noch nicht probiert. Bin als Neuling vorsichtig rangegangen und rate das auch Jedem. Die Falten und Flecken kamen ja auch nicht ber Nacht ins Gesicht.
Dann vor dem Wochenende ran, falls die Haut sich rtet, was bei mir nicht der Fall war. Ich habe 10 Minuten behandelt, sehr schrg gehalten, Nadeln ganz “eingefahren”.
Die Nadeln sind zum Einmalgebrauch. Spritzen werden ja auch nicht recycelt.Sie sind steril verpackt und sollen nicht berhrt werden vor Gebrauch. Danach entsorgen wie Spritzennadeln, damit sich keiner am Mll verletzt.
Es sind verschiedene Nadelaufstze dabei, die hier auch nachgekauft werden knnen.
Gesicht subern (oder Haare waschen, falls man das an den Haaren gegen Haarausfall anwenden mchte). Damit kein Dreck eingearbeitet wird. Ich empfehle eine Eigenbehandlung, da man dann wei, wie doll es piekt und es am Besten dosieren kann.
Das Gesicht ist hinterher sehr lebendig, die Kopfhaut noch extremer, da war ich etwas forscher. Desinfektion der Haut muss nicht sein, auch nicht der Nadeln, die sind steril. Danach aufs Haar (oder davor) gerne ein Pflegemittel fr die Kopfhaut (habe da so ein tolles l, damit ist es sehr angenehm gewesen), aufs Gesicht enstprechend, damit anfangen.
Ausprobieren, nur Mut. Es ist weniger schmerzhaft, als es klingt, und da ja ohnehin mit Pausen gearbeitet werden soll zwischen den Anwendungen wirkt jede Behandlung lange nach, die Haut reagiert mit frischen Zellen und lebendigerer Haut – sieht zumindest bereits nach der ersten Anwendung nach wenigen Tagen Wartens so aus.
Keine Nebeneffekte. Angenehm leise. Toll und sicher im Alu Koffer. Werde da sicherlich lange dran bleiben und viel Geld fr teure Kosmetiker-Besuche sparen!
Update nach wenigen Monaten, schaut Euch die wirklich ungeschnten Bilder an. Riesen Unterschied!! Wrde ich nie mehr aufhren, sehr zufrieden.

Testbericht:
Der Derma Pen wird in einer stabilen Metallbox geliefert. Anbei das Aufladekabel, eine Gebrauchsanweisung, sowie 10 steril verpackte Nadelaufstze.
Ich verwende den Derma Pen am Abend, da die Haut nach Anwendung einige Stunden, maximal 1 Tag, gertet ist. Ein Anwendungszyklus geht bei mir 7 Tage, anschlieend folgen mindestens 10-14 Ruhetage.
Vor jeder Anwendung desinfiziere ich die Haut mit einem Octeniseptspray.
Die Nadeltiefe lsst sich ganz einfach am Drehrad und individuell je nach Region in 0,1mm Schritten anpassen, von 0,25mm bis zu 2mm. Der Nadelaufsatz wird aufgedreht, und nicht blo aufgesteckt. Welche Nadeltiefe fr welche Region empfehlenswert ist, entnimmt man einfach der Gebrauchsanweisung, genauso wie den Aufbau der Haut, und wie die Nadeln in der Hauttiefe arbeiten um den gewnschten Effekt zu erzielen.
Ob gegen Falten, Narben, Akne, groe Poren,…. Im Gegensatz zum Derma Roller werden die einzelnen Nadeln senkrecht, wie ein Stempel, in die Haut gebracht und man kann sehr przise arbeiten, was sich besonders an der empfindlichen Augenpartie positiv auszahlt.
Die Bedienung ist leicht verstndlich und der Pen ist absolut einfach in der Handhabung, ein Leichtgewicht, der den blichen Derma Roller aus meinem Kosmetikschrank verbannt hat.
Fazit:
Ein absolutes Top-Gert, welches qualitativ sehr hochwertig ist und dazu noch super aussieht.
I’ve used derma rollers quite a few times in the past for both face and body. Now I went for the electric derma pen as heard good things about them. So far it worked well for me so it is staying. I will stick with a derma roller for my partners back though. Roller has more surface area and I can just do it quicker, it would take ages with the pen. It is good for the face and you can get really close, closer than with a roller, around the eyes and nose. A great thing about this pen is depth control. With a roller, you have to carefully apply the right amount of pressure, here you just dial the setting you want and it does the job for you. What is also great is the fact it works of USB so can power it from a power bank where there is no mains outlet nearby. I received 12 needles total in the pack instead of 10 as advertised so a nice little bonus.
Bought this early part of the year. Used it quite a bit and getting good results with it!!!
Unfortunately one battery stopped working recently and Koi beauty sent me another one straight away!! Best for occasional use and not for frequent or heavy use. Batteries sometimes run low even after being charged fully.

THANK YOU KOI BEAUTY ! EXCELLENT PRODUCT – Wow ! Am I happy. The machine takes a little practice – though it’s not painful in most areas. I would suggest practising on leg or arm. I have extremely sensitive skin prone to pigmentation so I use lower setting as a general rule. Also take care not to be too aggressive/overuse as it may take a few minutes for the skin to react/ go red and you don’t want to overdo it.
Gradually build up rather than doing an intensive treatment immediately – watch your skin’s reaction carefully so you don’t cause damage,
Observe user videos – My favourite way is to use dotting technique – for me, it feels safer. It took me a while to discover that and it’s not shown much on the net.

Prodotto buono. Ho effettuato il trattamento e devo dire che ho riscontrato la pelle del viso piu levigata tonica liscia e meno rughe. L unica cosa mi sono arrivate le istruzioni in inglese. Ma consegna puntuale ed imballata da una cassettina rigida. Ve lo consiglio.
P.s. utilizzate la crema anestetica in quanto punge un po e brucia
Really loved this product. It came really fast and in a nice package with 10 needle tip cartridges. I did it twice at the dermatologist and it was great but expansive, so it was a very good value. Very easy to use with clear instructions although I entered a tutorial online for fast learning.
Just did it once. Will write a new review after some weeks, but I am trustful that the results will be great.
Tried a derma roller unsuccessfully, it was agony and didn’t have the stamina to use on my full face.
Bought this, took a week to pluck up the courage and it was really tolerable, even at 1 mm (higher depth than my failed attempts at derma rolling)
I have only used once so far and too early to see the full amazing results predicted by this kind of procedure but really pleased!
Skin peeled slightly but see that as a positive as my skin is rejuvenating itself! Looked sunburnt for a day and settled down by the next.
I can’t wait to perform my next session (have to be patient to give time for collagen build up) but skin is definitely improving.

Could not wait to try this dermapen tried it on my neck it’s easy to use, the only criticism is the needle sizes on the device are very small to see even with glasses on also on the instructions there was no mention of the neck area but can’t wait to try it on my face
Have used three times on bad scars, can see real improvement. I need to use some numbing agent: Dr Numb, then very little pain. Have used on shoulder. Great product as was paying a fortune for beauty salon to do the treatment, which I now do!
This is a great bit of kit, makes derma stamping so much easier and kinda enjoy it lol. I use ever day for product penetration and the longer setting every 4 weeks for stretchmarks, scars, tightening skin. Would recommend.
Well worth the money, saves buying derma rollers every time! Have used it once so far, and will have to wait for another 2 sessions to see any great improvements on my scars. My skin does feel softer, more even toned, more elastic and that’s after one use! Cant wait to see what its like after the stated 3 treatments!
I was relieved there was an information leaflet enclosed in the box set. It is detaiiled and gives you an easy step by step guide oh how to use the MDP and how to treat each area. There wasn’t enough detail on the Amazon page, which made me hesitant to buy, but the leaflet really compensated for that. I used the MDP on the same day it arrived ( it was in stock in Amazon UK. So I got it next day Prime delivery). it works perfectly, better than I expected. There’s quite a few settings and directions you need to perform. I would suggest gently guiding the MDP over the skin with your preferred serum, keep reapplying the serum as the micro channels made by the MDP quickly absorbs the product. Too soon for results. However , I was red, warm to touch and slightly swollen after the treatment. I applied lots of moisturiser , however would have used a chill mask if I had one just to soothe the skin.
The replacement needle cartridges are individually sterile packaged. For replacement you will need to purchase the screw version.

It came in earlier than expected in a box. I wasn’t in the country for couple weeks so it was delivered to my relatives. I was contacted for confirmation of delivery by the company itself.
I used it twice already. After first time my skin tone became more even. I did not use any special cream or serum tho. My small scars on face have shrunk. I didn’t have deep wrinkles but sure did have some small ones and they are certainly gone now. Used on lips and it made lips look younger and plumper. It’s amazing how this tiny piece of equipment has changed my life.
I love this dermapen and certainly would recommend it to anyone, home-user or professional. It is worth every single penny!

I must say I really like this product as its a lot less painful than a roller and just as effective if not more. I like the quality of this derma stamp pen, I’ve never owned one before but I am impressed with it so far. I love that you can adjust the length of the needles instead of fussing with multiple rollers to achieve same results. I found it easier to do my whole face with the derma stamp pen as the rollers are a bit too wide for areas such as between the eyebrows and along nose. I use my derma stamp pen with Hyaluronic acid serum and vitamin C serum.
