Great toy for babies that enjoy tapping or throwing toys
Bought this item for my 7 month old son, as I felt the item would be fun for him to use, as he enjoys flailing his arms around when holding some of his other toys. I was right! The sound output makes his flailing so much more enjoyable for him

This little drumset is great for our kids. Our 11 month old loves it and so does our 3yr old. It's incredibly soft so his little hands won't get hurt. The little sticks on the side, I thought came off as like drumsticks but they don't. They are little cymbal (sp) things which make a different sound and the kids love. It also has some music that it plays so you can drum along eith the music. Great little set for kids.

I got this to give to my son for his first birthday in a couple weeks and I'm sure my 2 year old will enjoy it too. The drums barely have to be pushed to make a sound and they push extremely easy. The cymbals also make noise too. Overall I think this is a fun interactive toy, but at a $32.99 price point I feel it is a bit much. I would estimate in today's market this is realistically more of a $20 toy so I'd wait to catch it on sale if you can!

This set was an instant hit. My baby is 8 months old, so not very advanced in his motor skills yet. However, it is designed for babies to easily manipulate. Even when their abilities are limited to controlled flailing! So baby can join band practice with the big kids. We love it.

Almost perfec
These drums make sounds pretty much any way you touch them. Hit them, squeeze them, squish them, bend them. My 12-month old seems more interested in the volume control and setting buttons than the actual drums, but she does like them. They are soft and bendy, not solid like actual drums.
There are three settings: silly sounds, drum sounds, and farm animals. It annoys me that the only setting with actual drum sounds plays background music and it can’t be turned off, so you can barely hear the actual drumming sounds through it.

It has an on/off switch that also switches between sounds. This is very easy for my child to figure out how to use and I was surprised that even the cymbals at the top worked too. I love the volume control so it’s not too obnoxious, and the farm animal options. The toy has a really great feel to it as well. A sure hit!

Be aware that if your little one is in an adventurous stage, they may have a false sense of security and try to press on the drum as a support to move. The drum would then collapse (as designed) and could cause the little one to slip.

My daughter loves this! She was trying to rip it out of my hands before I could even get it out of the box. It has a couple different play modes, but she likes to just freestyle slap the drums and hear the sounds. I like that it's soft and doesn't hurt her little hands or other stuff, because sometimes she things it's funny to bang it against other toys too.

Fun tomes with musical drums
I love this toy, it is made from a nice soft material when you the hit drum it is squidgy similar to a jack in the box. When you the hit drum it depresses slightly and springs back up. The music is fun and entertaining and makes you want to hit again. There is also an outline of a hand print on each drum which will help with development of hand and eye coordination and other skills. You can alternate music using the switch, this music is not too loud neither is it annoying as some toys. This will be for my granddaughter who will surely love this toy. Lamaze products are quite good I have purchased before and they are of good quality and I would definitely recommend.
