Better than my Disto
I previously had a Disto and loved it. When it came up for replacing it I looked for cheaper alternatives, I was recommended to try Huepar and very glad I did. This Huepar is a 4th of the price of my previous Disto and works just as well.
Good budget laser measure
I bought this as I couldn’t ( and cant ) find my Bosch Zamo 3 measure. This is a good measure and seems to be accurate enough for a DIYer. Only thing I prefer on the Zamo is the laser measure is active as soon as you turn the device on and don’t have to press the measure button prior to taking a measurement.
It has a few extra features on this over the Bosch measure and is recommended

As an experienced diy’er and an odd job man I wish I had bought one of these years ago. The instructions are easy to follow and my measure was accurate out of the box. My work does not justify a top price one but this one at the price is brilliant.

Works well, except outdoors
Simple to use. Seems accurate and is consistent. I’ve not tested exactly how accurate as I’ve only used it to generate measurements for creating sketch designs.
Struggles outside because of the more intense light. I got measurements to walls a few metres away, but anything 10s of metres away didn’t work.
Easy and very lightweigh
Very easy to use, basic commands are intuitive but more advanced functions are not, they are explained in the instruction manual, but i feel they could have been exosed better.
It is very lightweight and comes with a wrist strip and a sleeve.
It also doubles as laser pointer to play with the cats, which is a nice plus.
Dose what it says on the ti
good and great distance, like te fact you can add a tripod, doing long distances, in my view it needs the tripod to better stabilization, but if you have some way to steady the laser measure then all good
Checked with a normal tape measure
Used it in a smallish dog leg all way. Checked several measurements (using front and back of the laser measure). Then compared with a normal tape measure. As best as I could see the laser measure was 100% accurate.
Electronic level is good. To level vertically just move it until it reads 90 (-90 if pointing downwards)
Lanyard was a little tricky to affix. Pushed it into the recess then (using a torch to see it clearly) used the end of a small scissors to hook it back up. Quite easy once I thought of that method.
The manual has 8 languages. I have not checked out all the features but it is reasonable to expect them to be as accurate as the linear measurement.

Does the job accurately
Nothing bad to say about this Lazer measure.It does a great job and is very accurate. Multifunctional,can be used to measure the area of a room. Not amazing for outdoor use but still works all the same.
very handy for fitting skirting
one feature i would impliment is a calibration one as i have 2 of these and there different by a couple mm over a meter.
i added a 2mm mdf packer to the back of 1 of them lol
I have looked at various digital measuring devices over recent years but have declined taking the plunge because if price or reviews about accuracy issues. I saw the HUEPAR Laser Distance Measure in the Amazon Warehouse and as it was reduced in price I decided to buy it.
Well, to say I am pleased would be an understatement. This little gadget is a delight to use and having done some tests to check its accuracy it out-performs my expectations.
It has a range of over 100m which is amazing, but for my more conservative needs it’s more than capable. You can set the measurement units in six different ways and so yoy are sure to find a unit layout that suits. This particular model also allows for user calibration (although this one did not need any calibration – it was bang on out of the box).
The display is very clear, I would have liked a little longer than 15 seconds “ON” time for the backlit display, but as you only need to touch a key and the backlight comes on it’s not a major issue.
A feature which I also am a fan of is the digital ‘spirit level’. A lot of these laser measuring devices have a physical ‘bubble style’ spirit level. I never trust those too much, but the one on the HUEPAR is a built-in digital readout level measure. Brilliant.

My Leica disto classic fell down three flights of stairs and new Leicas are well over 100 for base model. Ordered this as I already have a Huepar green beam laser which is great.
The calibration function is great, it was 2mm out over 8m but is now bang on every time.
I run a Drylining company and have to measure lots of walls in new houses for square meterage. My old Leica let me measure all walls on a floor and then measure a height and it would give me the total sqm of all walls rather than having to measure the sqm of each wall individually.
I was hoping but couldn’t see that this item would do the same but it does indeed with the painter function, but slightly different. You measure the height first then go around measuring all wall lengths and the running sqm total is displayed as you go. Great feature !
Clear and simple to use.
The unit is simple to use and the screen clear. I am still testing its accuracy over long distances hence only 4stars but so far that could move to 5stars.

As an engineer, I find the product very easy to use and also the advanced features. Great for all kinds of measurements.

Good but no
Needs to be recalibrated, there is an average mistake of less than 1% compared to Bosch which is essential in what I am doing. However the tool is easy to use and value for money is also fine.

I bought this as I needed some way of measuring the ridge heights of properties in my street for a planning exercise. I also needed to measure long distance at around 100 mtrs.
The device was extremely accurate and so I am one happy customer !
Very Good item for £35
Personally the best feature for me is the USB chargeable battery which is built in. Additional functions include sound muting, being able to measure cubic metric (which is confusing) – but overall it is worth the money.
Use this for work as a safety manager for measuring exit widths, travel distances, room dimensions and everything in between, will measure down to the millimetre and has made my job a lot easier.
Fantastic investment and for what it is, very good value for money. Supplied with reflective plate, wrist-strap and nylon case. Has screw in point underneath for attaching a tripod and can measure from three selective point, the front, tripod point (middle) or bottom of the device.
Worth mentioning that although it will work at long distances, it will probably require use of the supplied reflective plate or a reflective surface, also will require the same when using in bright daylight. No a criticism of this product, just of laser measures in general.
Tried about 5 of the cheaper varieties (have a glove compartment full of these) I use them to survey for flooring in people’s homes, this one is by far the best, main difference between this and others is speed at which measurement is taken is great. Lazer is perfectly aligned so when laying flat it goes perfectly straight (the first one that I’ve found that this is the case) and this one is smaller and lighter, the battery life is incredible, one charge far out does lasers that use batteries, and I used to buy the best batteries for it! Highly recommend as the best in the lower price bracket, can’t see what you can get that is worth spending double unless Bluetooth is required.

I had to use this to measure my kitchen because I am having a new kitchen fitted in 8 weeks’ time. The kitchen is unequal in size because the rear of my garage is butting into my kitchen by 3 x 8 feet. I had thought of having the kitchen in the rear extension but the upper bathroom wall abuts the the kitchen ceiling and it would require a steel beam specialist and the estimate for all that would be 40,000 including fees and fittings. I have a bond for 20,000 surrendered and that will pay for my replacement kitchen, a new pale blue suit, and a few other things..
I checked the accuracy of the laser distance measure and found it more than sufficient for my needs. The rechargeable battery is a bonus ,I recharge using the same lead as my Kindle. The max/min feature is particularly useful when measuring swaying objects. The geometry functions are easy to use and make area and volume calculations very simple. The inclination and height function are very useful, I use them to measure the height of standing trees. A very useful and compact tool.
Having used an ultrasonic measuring device for many years, I was getting frustrated with the inaccurate results this was giving me, especially when the old unit was measuring off of different surfaces, ie shiny/matt, glass, wallpaper etc. I had previously bought a Huepar laser levelling device so felt that I could trust the brand. This unit is solidly built, has a nice robust feel to it as well as a good level of protective rubber around the body. The device is easy to read and the manual is clear too. It performs above all of my expectations, using the inbuilt laser it is clear where the device is pointing and takes a reading from the reflected light sent back to the unit. Easy to use one-handed, comes with a small wrist strap so you can’t drop it. One great feature not clearly mentioned is the calibration facility – point the device at a surface a know distance away and adjustments can be made – that way the unit is spot on, every time. I bought this to replace a dodgy ultrasonic device, this can do all of the same things plus much more for much less money than I paid for my original device.
