Took a chance on this to use with my Strymon Cloudburst to use the freeze function and it works flawlessly. Much cheaper than the Strymon switch and the Boss one.

Don’t bother with unknown products when this excelent sustain pedal from M-Audio is almost the same price. It’s well made, sturdy and doesn’t slip about, and with a polarity switch should work on any keyboard. Thoroughly recommend.

Great quality for the price. I am always impressed by M-Audio, and these headphones don’t disappoint.

The ear cups are comfortable and don’t seem like they will deteriorate over time like other headphones I’ve owned.

    Great punchy sound.

    Superb value for money.

I brought this because I had an old foot switch peddle that I use as a sustain pebble that stopped working, this is great I would recommend to anyone. Great price and it came the very next day.

Excellent to use as a ‘portable’ pedal, robust, strong spring, non-slip rubber tread and good to use as a universal pedal due to its polarity switch button on the rear of the casing; using this switch also enables it to be used as a damper pedal.

I would have out five stars but the one I removed is for the poor quality cable, it definitely wont last me long, but I will just buy a better cable and fit, otherwise its a great piece of gea

Excellent product at a confusingly low price. Works perfectly with a Roland FP-10. There is a switch on the bottom that you might need to flip because the default setting is push to deactivate sustain, rather than the other way around.

Bought these to replace some older Roland headphones that broke on me. just wanted some cheap headphones to use daily without fear of damaging nicer pairs.

These are much nicer built than the Rolands and sound really nice for the price. My only complain is they are quite a tight squeeze on my head even after a few months of wearing them. The metal headband almost works against it in that regard. but their not the most uncomfortable headphones I have worn so very happy despite this.

The pedal is quite a bit heavier than expected. Is very good value. Seems to be a good qulaity product. Does the job it’s supposed to. A full five stars from me.

Excellent works perfectly, it has a polarity switch underneath if you need it. Very solid unit, does not slip on a wooden floor. Am buying another for my other keyboard.

I went years just using the standard pedal my Yamaha came with. What a shame. I could have been using this amazing pedal for years, it feels exactly like a real pedal and is SOO much nicer to use. It doesn’t move around which was the main thing for me. Very solid build and just great. Five stars without a doubt.

Works pretty well! I had one issue where it was suddenly inverted, but there was luckily a switch to fix it. No clue how it got inverted since I never moved it and the first time I used it it was fine.

Bought it as an additional pedal for my keyboard. This is the second pedal I have bought to support the additional functions on my keyboard (easier than pressing buttons while playing). Always found it strong and reliable.

Bought it for my Nektar Midi keyboard, works like a gem. Has two modes available to toggle to and fro, accessible at the back of the pedal.
First mode: auto sustain, press down once to activate; press down again to deactivate
Second mode: sustains only when u press down on it

Quite sturdy I’d say, would last for quite long.

Bought along side a keyboard, it doesn’t look sturdy but it is, it’s lighter than I expected and it does the job and more for a pedal for the keyboard! It’s great, it’s been stepped on everyday for months and it still works so it’s definitely durable. Only gave a 4/5 on durability bc you wouldn’t expect it to be so durable, maybe I’m a harsh reviewer?

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased the M-Audio SP-2 sustain pedal to partner with my M-Audio Oxygen Pro 49 keyboard/controller. Immediately out of the box the sturdiness and build quality was obvious. The plug in cable is brilliant in relation to it’s overall length, the pedal can be located quite a distance from the keyboard and it will still plug in and work. The downward pressure/strength of the of the arm is just right, your foot won’t get too tired when using it. The cost of this pedal is extremely good value and I would have no hesitation in recommending this sustain pedal to anyone considering its purchase.

Very happy with this product and it wasn’t expensive. I’ve given 5 stars for sturdiness and durability as I’ve had it for over 2 months without any issues and I use it for at least a couple of hours most days.

….don’t be tempted to leave the hard plastic cover on it as I was! I thought it’d protect the chrome finish and used it like that for a week or so but actually what it does is make it a lot less comfortable to use. The pedal is much nicer to use without the cover on it especially if you play without shoes on like I do.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s ironic that I’ve been asked to rate this for ‘sturdiness’ and ‘durability’. Overall this is a good pedal. Unfortunately there’s a Single Point of Failure (SPoF) built in. The lead that’s supplied is permanently attached to the pedal. Damage the lead and you’re either going to be throwing this away or paying someone to disassemble it and solder in a new one.

Gigging musicians may be better off buying something without the ‘included lead’ and with a TS socket instead. Swapping out a lead can be done instantly and a damaged cable therefore unlikely to impede a keyboard player’s virtuosity for or during a gig.

For home use this suits me fine, the pedal itself is robustly constructed, the springing nicely weighted and the base has good grip. Though I’d still have preferred a TS socket and supplied my own lead for a precise fit.

I needed a sustain pedal for my new Roland GO-61P piano and noticed that all the “replacement” pedals had only a mono 6mm jack plug, whereas on my Roland Stage piano, the official Roland pedal has a stereo 6mm jack plug.

The product spec said it was universally compatible due to it having a polarity switch and the reviews were encouraging, so I took the plunge.

The pedal arrived the next day and when I plugged it in to the Go Piano it did not work, however, a quick flick of that polarity switch sorted it out and it then worked perfectly.

It is well made, with a decent weight so it doesn’t fly around the floor in use, so if you need a sustain pedal this is a no-brainer at the cost. I’m not a “proper” piano player but this pedal seems to do exactly what my Roland pedal does for far less than half the price.

There is no half pedal function – at least, not with a Korg EK 50. Would be unusable with a piano, but with a happy go lucky electronic keyboard, it’s fine.
You just have to adjust your playing style a little to make sure that the next notes are being played as you release the pedal as the previous notes are just switched off, no matter how slowly you release the pedal, when you get to a certain point, silence.
I don’t know if my unit is faulty, but I’ll run with it.
I’ve got my Clavinova for other times.
If anyone knows otherwise, please post it, because it is a rather nicely built and weighted pedal and it’s a pity that the function is a little crude.

Great pedal! Seems well built for gigging (although not compact) + aesthetically it has a classic metal pedal for the home. I simply had to write a review just because this sustain pedal stands out from the rest. Its entire base is rubber, which means it holds a lot more grip to the floor than most pedals out there (when used on a wooden polished floor or stage floor). I’m tired of chasing sliding sustain pedals around the floor whilst playing! I hoped I could save someone else from this problem too. A couple of other notes; the pedal also has a polarity switch making it versatile to work with all keyboards + feels a good weight. Good price too! Buy it!!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBased on its “#1 Best Seller” status and favourable reviews, I bought this for my Casio CDP120 (a beautifully affordable high quality digital piano btw) which came with an awful sustain pedal that looked and felt like a typical sewing machine pedal.

So happy with this. Has just the right tension, feels weighty and does not slide around on my carpet as my previous one did thanks to an excellent rubber grip at the bottom. It oozes quality in appearance except for one thing…the annoying red coloured logo “M Gear” looks like some children toy brand. This might be the only concern if appearance is a priority but its a minor blip.

There is a polar switch at the bottom in case your piano has a reverse type connection. I didnt need to switch it for my piano but I can just confirm the switch is there (default position 1 works for my Casio CDP120)

My pro pianist friend who owns a six grand Kawai piano came by and said my pedal felt as lovely as his. Was even more chuffed to get his approval!

For sixteen-ish quid, this is a highly recommended purchase if you need a replacement sustain pedal.
