Just so many of these key safe’s on the market but i chose this for a good price and the light up display that is illuminated when looking for the numbers in the dark

Does the job. Sturdy and light a nice addition. Questionable durability of the weather cover which activates the light for approx 30 seconds- time will tell! Have 2 rough young adults who aren’t the most gentle of humans

The key safe was exactly as described. It’s very easy to use, particularly as the numbers are backlit and the release button can be worked one-handed. There is also plenty of room inside the safe for a number of keys.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this product, it’s absolutely solid, and the build quality is amazing. Really handy having light up numbers too, really sets it apart from its competitors. Would highly recommend!

Initially I had a problem that the illumination went off after about 2 weeks use which was very disappointing so I complained I must say that went nowere but low and behold the illumination came back and it’s great.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this particular key safe so that carers could easily access my property, and with early morning and late night calls required in the dark during winter, I thought that the illuminated combination lock would be useful and so it is proving to be, many comments have been received from the carers saying how helpful this feature is.
It’s also very sturdy and because I’ve used longer, more heavy duty screws than the one’s provided to mount it, it also feels very secure.
    Recommended.

Bought this to mount in a poorly lit area based purely on the illuminated dials and this has proved to be the highlight of the unit. Very sturdy and waterproof, dials easy to read and set up. Mounting no different from any other key safe, as previously mentioned the illuminating dials are the main selling point for me.
Time will tell as to how long the button battery lasts.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is probably one of the best key lock boxes I have come across..as an Airbnb host whose guests arrive at various times of the day and night..the fact that the display lights up is a great addition..good size..hinged and easy access. Totally recommend.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis is a sturdy unit and easy to fix to the wall. Dials are easy to set and the unit opens easily when correct code is set. The only thing that isn’t really up to spec is the dial lighting. The picture in the Amazon listing shows the dials lit from top to bottom, but in reality, only the bottom digits are clearly lit and bright. So I made a modification, I drew a new line across the centres of the digits at the bottom and removed the original line (possibly screwed the warranty but I can easily put it back as it was). This meant that to set 0000 you have to actually set 1111 on the original line. Not a problem. See picture (and compare it with that on Amazon!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but not perfec

because the holes are fixed inside the item its`difficult to line up the holes on concrete ,only realised that there is a plastic template inside the cardborad packet that I could have used as a template.
overall the key safe is sturdy but could be made safer to hack if the combination wheel was seperated more from the lock mechanism.

I am very old and live in a retirement flat alone. I thought it would be a good idea to have a set of keys to my flat available to my neighbours if they suspected something was not right.. A neighbour installed it for me with no difficulty . I now have more peace of mind.

I bought this as I have a new car with an electronic key that I can’t take into the sea. It’s really good – setting your own combination is very simple. Open the thing up, put your key in, and close it. Done. Very easy and effective. Despite the case being all metal it won’t quite work as a faraday cage though, so if you have a keyless entry car you’ll need to wrap your key in tinfoil, or use a protective sleeve.

The shackle is a seperate u-shaped piece of metal which is a great idea. You can easily slide this through even difficult to access holes, and then clip the rest of the lock on to it. It makes hanging it onto awkwardly place towing hooks under your car very easy, and makes the whole thing easy to remove as well.

I recomend the light up numbers version. On my car the shackle is right underneath the car and it makes it quite hard to see and in the evening it becomes almost impossible to read the numbers. The lighting make life so much easier.

The numbers all click positively into place, it feels very well-made and robust and it’s very easy to use. If you need safe place to leave your keys, this is the thing.

I thought the shackle would be a bit longer and wider, but I didn’t check the dimensions beforehand.
Very sturdy and solid. The spokes on my car wheels are too big for the shackle and putting it on the door handles unlocks the car. That’s the car’s fault and not this lock.
I will find maybe a small chain or cable and loop it through the wheel spokes and the shackle.
Overall I would recommend it. My car keys fits inside it no problem.

With a graduate product designer in the family this is a well thought up key safe.

As with all of this type of product, none of them are invincible.

I’ve just installed one at a 3rd party property partially hidden for business use.

With the outside label removed and at first glance it looks like an outside mains plug.

It does not come with raw plugs so make sure you have some handy. I used the screws supplied and with the correct size holes and raw plugs, it went on very secure.

Very easy to use and the led light is a great idea for those winter months.

The plastic rain cover seems robust enough, but only time will tell.

A good solid little keysafe which is easily installed and looks good. I did not want too big a box as I just want to store one key and this fits the bill perfectly. I prefer the combination lock to the push button types as I feel they must be the safer option and this one clicks solidly on the numbers and lights up in darkness. I fitted it on an uneven stone wall and just filled in the gaps with gripfill and it looks and feels very solid indeed. The black cover keeps everything watertight and could be any kind of control box. I may paint it white shortly to make it even less noticable. Just what I wanted.

Bought to hold a key while out on the bike. Quite well thought out. Got a nice little light on the lock wheel and weather cover. The bolt looks like its made from cast so im not convinced it’ll take much of a battering and although there are lips to stop someone jamming a screwdriver through the casing, there is too much play so a gap could be created. Like most things its a deterrent at best. Ive just placed mine out of sight and use for convenience. Nice bit of kit if you ignore the videos on how to access them.

Got this to replace the more common non-light up model.
Someone had changed number on this old one and we couldn’t see the number dials as when you shine a light at them in the dark it reflected of so was it a 6 or an 8 you had it on?!
With this light up one it’s so easy to see, my only worry is that being plastic dials how long they will last and the black print on them? But I do at present prefer to non-light up version.

Purchased for security in case of emergency. Good that it has a cover as not obvious that it is s key box. Have attached it to a fence post rather than on wall. Seems pretty secure and once shrubs grow a bit more then will be a bit more obscured.
As other reviewers have said, it could do with a hook to hang a key, but there is room to attach one which I have done.

Light up dial is a bonus and changing combination is easy. Instructions made more sense that the video demonstrating it.

Decided to purchase this after a family member forgot their keys. Sturdy metal, good quality and easy to fit. Plenty of space for a few keys. I like the discrete plastic cover that doesn’t scream ‘key safe’.

However, I’ve no doubt that a determined theif could force this off a wall, regardless of the mounting method, just like a determined theif could crowbar a window frame or door. Not a fault of the design.

Light up feature is simple and works. I like the fact there is a thoughtful illumination button to press for more light time if required.

I chose to mount it low down in a discreet position next to a cable box on the wall – it looks more like some utility box now. Not so convenient having it low down, but will only be used in emergencies. Never understood why people mount these in prominent positions, unless in constant use?

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis key safe is a great bit of kit, easy to install in 5 minutes and easy to use. The system to reset the combination to your desired number is also very easy… slide the catch on the inside of the door in the direction of the arrow, set the rotors to your desired number and then slide the catch back again to its original position… child’s play.
I noted that someone in a previous review suggested that the mounting screws supplied are inadequate; I disagree! You are supplied with four good quality stainless steel screws for mounting the unit, which for me were ideal as I mounted the unit on an oak post in my front porch (you must use stainless steel screws in oak). There is no doubt that if someone had a massive crowbar they could wrench the box from its fixing, but they are not going to get the keys out of the box because it is so robust! Forget all the nonsense about using an App, simply share the combination number with who needs to know it… and then change the number if you feel your security is compromised! This box is going to keep my keys safe and I would recommend it.

This is a very well made product made of robust materials and provides a good feel of security. The fact that the dials light up as soon as the cover is opened is a good addition and worth spending a few pounds more over other similar products as it can be opened in darkness without the need of a light of torch. The only issue I had with the instructions provided were that the print is so small I needed a magnifying glass in addition to my reading glasses to be able to read them. Fortunately I had one to hand and once they are visible the instructions are sufficient for their purpose. The one issue I have with the product itself (hence 4 stars, not 5) is that the switch on the side to change the code setting is very difficult to move, making the changing of the code a bit awkward. The instructions say use something like the end of a pen to move the setting switch, but I found you needed something more solid. I finally moved the switch using a small flat screwdriver which gave enough force to open the switch. I would strongly recommend that once you have reset the code, make sure the opening switch works before closing the unit when set to the new code.
