Used it to check for heating leaks when I’d adjusted my doors & windows. More scientific than the back of my hand.
Roll on summer when I have an objective measurement to tell the other half that the barbecue is too hot!
Great device to give me up the temperature of radiators and a added bonus of a thermometer. Been using since I brought have no issues with it so far. Manual isn’t that useful but it’s intiuatative if your good with devices
All good and simple enough to use for what I want it for , there are lots of options but I haven’t tried any and the meat thermometer works well too. Cheers
Speedy delivery, thermometer is very easy to use. I can’t speak for its accuracy as I don’t have any means of calibration, but as a reference tool to find hot and cold locations in a home it is ideal. Great value for money…
This is an awesome piece of kit that is easy to use. It comes with 2AAA batteries which is great. Once the batteries are put in it is very easy to use, just point towards the direction of the heat source within a suitable range and within seconds it will show the temperature. I have used it for quite a few things mostly in the kitchen and the temperature shown is quite accurate. It also came with a probe which is perfect for checking the internal temperatures of meats during cooking or baking. All in all, a neat piece of device which is easy to use and gives accurate readings.
This product is recommended by me anyway – even if you’ve got already a good thermometer and you think is good but not enough sometimes or as a new set to have a proper thermometer when needed.
The big one is powered by two AAA batteries and it comes supplied with 2 already.
I liked the big one more – it looks very good, feels sturdy and has got different functions for different situations. Compared it with another surface thermometer which I use the second year already and in most of the cases they were showing the same temperature or a fluctuation of +/-0.2C which I don’t consider a huge error.
The small one is more for the kitchen – try the melted chocolate, that cake or the meat – it is great for everything. The sma comes powered by a coin battery which is also provided.
Love the way both of them are designed – very cool with those orange and black parts.
As mentioned above, had the chance to compare them with previously used thermometers and both are quite precise. Given this argument, I can say they’re reliable.
