    Klare Kaufempfehlung.

    Für alle Pokémon Liebhabe

In our house we all share a passion for pokemon and Lego so this seemed like the perfect combination to give our son for his 9th birthday.
The Pikachu is a great size, nice colours and looks great however, the introduction could be a little more clear, also attaching the pieces there were just not as smooth as original lego, also I would say depending on the age of the child they will need an adult sitting with them while they complete this otherwise they will struggle.
Saying that I would still recommend it as it looks great! We will be buying another one soon !

I loved it! It was so fun to build and so adorable when set up. Would really recommend, it took a good few hours and this was the first Lego set I’ve ever built and it’s made me want to build even more. I wish the mega construx had other builds that were really big like this one

I will start with the final model which looks much better in person than pictured. The box picture does it injustice making Pikachu look fat rather than cute and tubby but I was very pleased with how the toy actually looks.

Although it is a nice model toy, the actual fun is in the building and the number of pieces given for the price is fair giving a good amount of build time. Instructions were pretty clear and the build was thankfully frustration-free. The toys size is perfect considering it is similar to the actual cartoon Pikachu’s size.

Mega Bloks (Construx) Jumbo Pikachu is a set of over 800 mega blok pieces with which you build a 12″ tall Pikachu ( of Pokemon fans) … when built this figure has fully articulated arms, legs, neck, tail and ears which all add to the products playability.

On opening the box I was faced with numerous small bags filled with mostly yellow pieces. Each bag is numbered and instructions are included which are very comprehensive … in colourful pictorial form. One of the problems for me was that some of the pieces were really small and many looked very similar to each other with only subtle differences. Needless to say I went wrong a few times and had to backtrack enough times to annoy myself, to put things right.

I initially asked my Pokemon mad eight year old foster son to help me build it, however having severe ADHD himself if took far too much attention and within minutes he was off somersaulting the sofa in his quest to annoy our dog again who was at the time laying on it.

I found this really hard to build, I finally succeeded but out took me quite a few days. I think that most children trying to build this would need an adults help at sometime or another.

Once it was built it was actually really good, looked just like Pikachu and my foster son was quite happy to involve himself in playing with it … until he takes it apart that is.

Great Jumbo Pikachu which stands about 30cm high. This is basically Lego…I’m sure Lego’s patent on the design of thier building blocks ran out allowing competitors to copy it. That said, it’s really good. Exactly like Lego and comes in several plastic bags. Just like Lego. It fits together….you got, just like Lego.

The end product is fantastic and my Pokemon mad 8yr old loves it. Very true to the character. Needed some parental help to put together but suitable for his age range. It’s reasonably solid and can handle a bit of play and has articulated limbs allowing for different poses.

This really is a larger construct once you have it completely assembled, I was impressed and had expected this aspect to have been somewhat exaggerated, it isnt, if you are gifting this to someone who wants a larger model or play thing then its the right choice.

Megablocks are not like legos, the packaging, instructions and direction are different but the inlay with this model is not difficult to follow, for young or old, the accomplished (master?) builder or beginner. In fact I would say that this is actually beginner friendly, its not super simple but its also not difficult either, with practice, ie building, disassembling, reassembling, it can be finished in less time each time around.

The parts are good, none appeared to be of cheaper materials and the mold castings are all consistent too, at least with this model I received. All pieces were present, all pieces worked as expected/directed and the pieces all held together well enough to put the finished Pickachu in a number of poses as demonstrated in the product information/video clip. Recommended.

interesting tie up with Megabloks and Pokemon – and the end result here is actually a very good likeness of Pikachu – especially as is able to be posed into multiple positions.

It had to be said though, the quality just isn’t the same as the more familiar block brand. It’s fine – but they don’t go together as easily and are almost impossible to get undone once they are together. When you combine that with a set that is mostly yellow, mistakes are likely and difficult to rectify.

Instructions are okay but again that almost entirely yellow colour range makes this is a difficult set – the end result is worth it, he’s very impressive but it’s a tricky build.

Gets 4 stars as the end result is very good indeed – just let down by the frustrations of getting to that point.

This says it’s aimed at 8yrs plus and whilst the construction isn’t overly complicated, at 600pieces, some 8yr olds might find it a little daunting without adult help.
I actually gave it to my 17yr old son who was a Lego addict from tiny up until about 13 when he started to outgrow traditional Lego. In the past couple of years he has rediscovered his love of Lego through the Technic range and when I saw this Pikachu set, (not Lego but v similar) I knew that with his love of Pokemon, he would find this amusingly fun to build.
I was spot on. It’s not complicated for anyone 15+ years, but purely for the fun of it and particularly if you’re a proper old-school Pokemon fan, this is just about complicated enough to be entertaining and the end result is a good size and has articulated ears, tail, arms and legs

Pokemon fans come in all shapes and sizes and the one in our family happens to be 29! However, that did not stop him being very taken with Pikachu – I think he was under the impression that it would be a doddle to put together, but there are so many small pieces, some of which are very similar to each other, and of course mainly yellow that he soon realised that this was going to be a challenge.

In the end it took him several hours, on and off, to construct Pikachu and, although frustration seemed to creep in on occasion, overall he quite enjoyed the process and found it reasonably challenging. Apparently he has caught over 1,000 Pikachus whilst playing Pokemon Go, but I think it is fair to say that his is his favourite! Standing about a foot high it’s fair it’s quite impressive.

If you have a young child in mind to give this model to, it is likely that you will have to lend a hand to prevent things going awry, but the triumph of successfully completing it will make it all worthwhile. It’s worth noting that this is an Amazon exclusive so not something that you will be able to shop around for.

This is a great set, and right off the bat I want to assure anyone that this stuff is nearly as good as leading brands, such as LEGO. It’s obviously not quite the same level, but far superior to ‘knock off’ brands and other brick-focused building sets. The price reflects this, too – It is a formidable build.
This thing is 806 pieces, and took me and a partner several hours to build. Smaller and more uniques pieces than LEGO, for example, can prove finnicky at times. And you don’t use each piece in an individual bag before moving on to the next one. This will no doubt anger completionists, and means you always have a backlog of pieces left to use. However, there were no missing pieces, and the instructions were generally pretty okay.
The finished Pikachu is, credit where due, spectacular. At 3 inches short of the full thing (Pikachu is 15 inches high, this set is 12), it’s practically the closest one can get to a Pikachu. And it looks adorable! Multiple points of articulation make this thing really interactive, and it is hard not to crack a smile at it. The head can be too heavy to keep lifted by itself, but I imagine most won’t display him in a top-heavy position.
Overall, this Pikachu is seriously cool, but around 40 is a bit steep, even if this were made out of real LEGO. However, it is a great substitute and looks awesome.

Got this as a present for a Pokmon fan (who is 26) and they absolutely loved it. It takes pride of place on his desk at work and attracts a lot of attention.

There’s 806 pieces to put together, very similar to Lego where all the blocks clip together, you get numbered bags of pieces and instruction booklets which are very easy to follow. The quality of the blocks look and feel really good, all the pieces lock in tight. Its quite tall at 32cms and weighs almost 1 kg when put together.

It’s a great build and takes a couple of hours and once built Pikachu looks so cool. Who doesn’t love Pikachu.

This is an impressively large model of the most famous Pokemon of all, Pikachu. The build is quite a tricky one due to almost all the pieces being yellow, but the instructions are well illustrated and comprehensive, so you just need to pay a bit of extra attention and it should all come together. Children towards the younger age of the recommended age group might need a bit of help, though very experienced Lego builders may manage it independently. Once completed, the Pikachu stands up well, is stable and can be moved into lots of different positions. It looks great as a display model and also functions as a toy, plus gives hours of building fun, so it’s not bad value for money.

This is awesome. My little one has just seen Detective Pikachu and was over the moon to get this.

It took them a few days to put it together because its quite difficult to assemble. What was great is that is keeps them quiet, they are so focussed on building it that hours went by and i didnt hear a peep out of them.

It looks amazing put together, and my little one is overjoyed to have it, all their friends are quite jealous.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHad a fun time putting it together. Personally I would say that this is more designed for kids from 10 years old and above. I love how it was described almost life size. The only disappointment was that one of the last bit that sites right on the face of Pikachu. is chipped. Oh and the cat was not a friend. Price wise I would say its about 10 over what its worth.

My grandson has always been good with building bricks and is also Pokemon mad so he was really excited to get this model to build. He is eight years old and although it took a while to build he did it without help just by using the instructions. It looks bigger than expected and now stands proudly on his bedroom shelf with all his other models. When built it is solid and stable and stands easy.

This jumbo Pikachu Pokemon (it’s 32cm tall when finished) from Mega Bloks Construx consists of 806 pieces and is suitable for children age 8+. It is not suitable for young children due to very small parts. (Avoid if you have a child who likes to stick small objects up their nose and in their ears.) I also don’t think younger children would necessarily have the patience to stick with the build.

Unlike the other Pokemon sets from Mega Construx that we’ve built this model does have numbered bags – mostly (there are eleven numbered bags (there are two number 6 bags of different sizes) and two unnumbered bags). There are two instruction booklets (numbered 1 and 2) – the second booklet just picks up (instruction 108) from where the first booklet finished (instruction 107). I’m not sure how long it took to build – hours probably – I did it over a few days. You need to be able to concentrate when you are doing it as the vast majority of pieces are yellow and when you’re dealing with similar bricks it’s easy to get confused.

The quality is not quite as good as Lego, sometimes you have to push really hard to get the bricks to snap into place and then annoyingly some other bits fall off whilst you’re building. However, the finished model is fantastic and is well worth the patience and perseverance needed during the build. It has limited poseability and is really more of an ornament than action figure.

Overall – Some little niggles, but excellent fun and a really good model at the end. Would make a great Christmas or Birthday present for a Pokemon fan.

I love these sets as they are such fun to put together and the finished project is always well worth the effort. Set aside a few hours and watch him grow. The blocks are all in separate bags and the instructions are very clear.
Good quality product and good value

This took three of us, one 8 year old and two adults taking different shifts, to complete this over two days. Would say that we are pretty experienced when it comes to Lego construction, but this was a difficult project due to the pieces all being the same colour, and we felt relieved when it was over! The instructions are pretty clear, we made a few mistakes and had to backtrack on a couple of occasions, but generally they were fit for purpose. Would say that this definitely needs the input of adults/older children. The finished product is great though, impressive.

Mega Construx, Mega Blocks Pokemon Pickachu construction set. 806 pieces for over 8’s. Yes contrary to the Amazon page which says around 600 pieces.

It’s fully built size is that of a 12″ ruler, or 32cm if you work in metric.

It’s a challenging construction kit for anyone, especially for the fact it is mostly in yellow. If you follow the instructions, which are generally pretty clear you will get there in the end though it might take some time.

Mega Blocks cost less and the plastics are a little less polished than one of their rivals. However this does not detract from this kit itself. It is a good kit.

The bricks are compatible with its main rival too so you can mix and match as you wish.

I left my 10 year old daughter to get on and build it. Mega Blocks or not, it doesn’t matter to her so long as it’s fun and a puzzle to build. This Pikachu has it in bucketfuls.

So to recap, the kit is a tough build, the kit is as good as any rival kit, there are 806 pieces mostly of the same colour and it’s super fun to build. When it’s built you get a good sized Pikachu too. Might take a few more days though.

It has instructions and is okay however hoping dont come across missing bit . I really like it I just cant do a build like this fast. Quality of this series is good to me so far however I’m concerned if get missing bits .

Similar to lego for sure but obviously cheaper. The set itself builds well although needed a little adult help at difficult parts today. The instructions were good and clear and the parts are very good quality. A great finished model has been made which is spot on to the actual character.

What a great set. My son loves Lego and loves pokemon so this is a great tie in.

They come boxed like Lego and the whole system is essentially the same. They appear to be compatible with Lego.

Construction was straightforward as were the instructions and the results are actually really good.

Great alternative, especially so if you want pokemo

This is not an easy build I think an 8 year old would really struggle with this , and it’s not a quick build there’s a couple of hours to construct the instructions are quite straight forward but some bits need a lot of attention to understand and figure out I did enjoy the build mind and the finished model looks grea
