I don’t feel I need to mention all the things I seem to be prompted to mention, because my grandchildren either like or dislike the gifts they are given. This instance, they love the gift and are continually making up stories with the puppets.

I bought these as a birthday present for my 3 year old niece and nephew and they loved them. I also bought a tabletop puppet show theatre so they could do little shows for the family and build their confidence presenting and performing for everyone.

Its been magical to watch them perform little shows.

The puppets themselves are very well made, nice and soft and so far very durable, even in the hands of small little terrors.

Would recommend these to anyone, it’s a great alternative to another games consol or electrical toy. It encourages them to perform and use their imagination and for me this is the most important part of any toy you buy. It needs to encourage personal growth, imagination and exploration, even in young children and this is exactly what you get in toys like this.

Thoroughly happy with it and would recommend.

My son loves these and sleeps with them every night, this is our 2nd set in case we lose one or need to wash them!!

V durable and he sleeps with and chews them repeatedly.
Bit small for an adult hand but manageable!

These Hand puppets are excellent for developing language and communication skills in young children, and encouraging interaction between others.
As children grow, the puppets can be used as a prompt to encourage writing of their own plays etc.

I bought these for my baby nephew as a Christmas present. Apparently he absolutely loves them and finds them hilarious (he is 9months old) They are well made and very vibrant in colour. I searched a while for puppets and these seemed to be the best value for money I could find and wasn’t disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use them to amuse by 18 month old granddaughter especially when reading animal books with her. When talking about the Zebra (or others), to see one pop up over the book always brings a smile from her. They are though a bit small for adult hands, I can only get thumb, index and second figure in but fine for a child.

These puppets are certainly great value for money and a good-looking set. However as soft toys they perhaps slightly lack the x-factor – there isn’t anything that singles these toys out. The kids I gave these to were most definitely into the idea of glove puppets but disappointingly quickly lost interest – which is a shame as there is nothing I can really fault these toys on. Possibly other kids would react differently/more favourably?

These are very nice quality puppets, that even fit onto my massive hands — and I have a ten-inch hand span.
The puppets come in a nice presentation box. They take a bit of unpacking, due to the ties that fasten them to the box. Some adult supervision is required there. Once out though, we found the children loved them. They are age 2 to 6 years. They immediately picked favourites, and began making the appropriate animal noises and actions for each puppet. The puppets are neat designs, colourful, and with strong characters in their faces. One of the children decided they made great socks, which oddly they do if you wedge your toes into the head space!

These are brilliant. Very simple, old-fashioned perhaps, but the kids understood them straight away and played with them for hours.

These are great! They arrive in an open-fronted box, so can be explored by a child recipient immediately. There are just a few small cable ties to snip to get the puppets out of the packaging. The puppets are nicely made, in vibrant colours. The main outer fabric is a short-pile, printed plush. There are some felt elements — such as the giraffe’s horns.

The animal puppets have a friendly, smiley, cartoonish appearance. These are perfect for inclusion in song/story time sessions run by an adult (allowing them to be used at the demonstration level with children rather younger than the recommended age) integrating all, or part of the set. For handling purposes, there are small parts and fluffy bits that could represent choking hazards and these should not be given to younger children.

The puppets are a nice size: they fit small and middling size adult hands easily, and can just about be used by those with larger hands. Children’s hands fit sufficiently into both head and arms to make them workable, though the youngest within the age range may need some help guiding their fingers in to position to operate head and arms at the same time, and find the gesture needed a bit of a stretch.

The set of 6 is a good quantity for a well-rounded puppet starter pack. It gives a nice range of jungle-themed animals, but also provides sufficient characters to be shared by 2-6 people and offers scope for the creation of a multi-character narrative (developed by one or more children/adults) either for personal entertainment or as a puppet show. My 6 y.o. nephew adores them — using them both in his own narratives, and in recreating scenes from favourite stories.
