This Ice Cream Counter is well-made and gets a lot of play in our household. My 3-year old son loves serving everyone their favourite ice creams.
My only gripe is that the pretend money is made from thin paper, which gets wrinkled and worn quite easily. For a toy aimed at younger kids, I think it would have been better if it was made from a more durable material.
This set is top quality with a counter of a beautifully crafted variety of ice creams plus extras & serving scoop. My grandson 5 absolutely loves it immediately serving us with our choice. Sprinkles optional!. He has even used the cardboard presentation. Box to make a house. Top quality worth the money & packaging& delivery excellent.
One of the most played with toys in our house and always the first thing other kids go for when we have visitors. It’sa lorie expensive but it’sa good looking toy, it’s made of wood so it’ll last and it’s really sturdy. It’s a good size so there’s plenty to keep little hand busy! Great for motor skills
I’ve always loved Melissa and Doug toys because they are educational, fun and worth the value of your money due to its durability – I’ve always preferred wooden toys over plastic ones. When I opened the box, I was impressed as the ice cream counter is well-made and very sturdy.
Age-appropriate for 3+ year old (although younger ones can also still enjoy it with caution on the small parts) and helps develop creativity and fine-motor coordination. It encourages imaginative play among kids and enhances social skills while they do role-play.
Price is a bit higher compared to other brands but I got it during Black Friday sale on 50% off so it’s definitely a win. A great toddler gift idea.

Este juguete es un autntico acierto! La heladera de madera de Melissa & Doug ha sido todo un xito en casa: mis hijos pasan horas y horas jugando con ella, sin aburrirse. Les encanta montar su tienda de helados, atender a los “clientes” y preparar combinaciones deliciosas. El diseo es precioso, los materiales son resistentes y seguros, y los accesorios estn muy bien pensados, fomentando la imaginacin, la creatividad y el juego simblico.

Heel goed voor zijn spel en fantasie. Het begon met kleur herkenning en nu verbind hij er een smaak bij.

Lots of fu
Bit on the pricy side- but really good quality and provides lots of entertainment for toddlers. Bought for my 2.5 year olds, they need a little bit of help with the scoop, but once they get the hang of it it will be really good for developing their motor skills.

Highly recommend, great toy
I bought this for my 2 year old daughter for her birthday and I can safely say it is her most used present still 6 months on. The quality is good and it is a great toy for igniting imagination for role play. My daughter loves to take our ice cream order and give us the nuggets ice cream she can make! Everything is pretty easy to use for a toddler. Think the toppings are probably the trickiest thing to put on as they don’t attach as securely as the scoops in my opinion. Overall high recommend this for toddlers, love it!

Perfect for pretend play
My daughter and her brother are forever playing ice cream shops in the garden. They don’t use any props, just their imagination. Then I came across this set at a friends house and knew we had to have it. With her third birthday coming up it was an obvious choice. The set has two cones and a tub, loads of ice cream flavours and plenty of toppings to choose. This is a toy which regularly comes out and all their friends love it too.
It’s pretty much all wooden and there is even a little order book so they can write down what people want. Very good quality and sturdy. Would recommend for sure!

I bought this for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves it! Hasn’t stopped playing with it all day and even her older sisters (9&12) enjoyed playing it with her.
Great toy for our child
My daughter absolutely love this toy. It is a bit pricy but the quality is great. Melissa & Dough is so worth it. We get served ice cream on a daily basis here now and it’s very important we use the money that came with it too haha Can absolutely recomend it!
Worth every penny
Every kid who visits our house goes straight for this toy, as do my daughters. My eldest is 9 and still enjoys playing with it. We’ve had this over 3 years and apart from losing the money, it’s still in perfect condition. It’s definitely a quality toy and will last for years. I do feel they should introduce a little drawer somewhere so that you can store the money and menu within the toy, therefore less likely to lose it. But other than that this is probably one of our best toy purchases since having children, both in terms of how much enjoyment the kids get, and how long it has lasted.

The best toy
Really good quality although the toy is quite expensive I think it is worth the money. One of the favourites toy of my 2 yo, she plays everyday we had it from months and still in perfect condition.
Quality you’d expec
Our kids love this. We bought for our 2 year olds birthday, and whilst it created some initial drama with our 3 year old – as both wanted to play, they eventually realised this is a really good toy for sharing. There are lots of options, 2 cones and a bowl so each can always play with something – the only minor squabbles are over the scoop. We’ve had this for a couple of months and they keep coming back to it. It seems a little smaller than expected but that’s actually pretty convenient as it tucks away. I initially thought it was quite expensive, but I think worth every penny now.
I bought the deluxe ice cream set for my daughter when she was 5. She is now 8 and still loves playing with it. It is by far the best toy we’ve owned – sturdy, great role play, lots of fun and is such a great looking item I haven’t minded in the slightesr it sitting on the lounge floor for over 3 years! I bought it on offer for 30 and have seen it is now 48. Knowing what I know now I think I would still buy it at this price. It is the kind of toy I imagine myself holding on to to pass on to the grandchildren! We also have the pizza counter which has also been enjoyed but the ice cream set has been the favourite. Visiting children love to see how high they can pile their ice creams!

Il banchetto fatto in legno, rifinito molto bene, con un lato chiuso in plexiglass per simulare il lato cliente. I gelati e le salse sono bellissimi e divertenti per bambini di 1- 6 anni. Molto divertente da assemblare come torri di gelati per i pi piccoli. Gli accessori come men, soldi e pinza per prendere le palline di gelato invece sono apprezzati dai pi grandi. Il regalo pi gradito di questo Natale. Il prezzo elevato ma per la qualit mi sembra buono. Io comunque sono riuscita a prenderlo a 29 perci mi reputo molto soddisfatta.
