    Soles
Worked well for me on holiday However the soles came out as soon as they got wet which was a bit of a pain still worked well even without the soles tho

    Comfortable!
Loved these water shoes, so comfortable and light to wear, they don’t take too long to dry when left outside. Perfect for taking on holiday or trips for when you’ll be swimming in rocky lakes/oceans you won’t be spending 10 minutes trying to carefully walk in and out of the water without bruising your feet!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for swimming
Sturdy and comfy, lightweight and well secured. Provides protection for the feet in rocky waters and excellent grip.

    Great summer beach shoes
I needed beach shoes for the summer to go rock pooling with the dog. These are great with a good sole on them. I saw them on offer but these were advertised as boys/mens (I’m female) so although they fit they are a little bit loose on my feet. They have a separate insole which moved about a bit so not brilliant when your feet are wet but this wasn’t a problem for me because I was able to take them out and fit in a pair of more rigid insoles with some support as I suffer from planter fasciitis. There is a handy pull thingy on the heel so you can loosen and tighten them. All in all, nicely made and a good buy for me.

    Good shoe, larger than expected
The shoe was good for its intended purpose, however it was larger than I had expected. I ordered a 9 as that is my usual size and which is what they suggested to order. Even with the toggle it was a bit loose, but it stayed on OK.

    Good Fi
We used these for a trip into the Dead Sea in Israel and they did the job perfectly. They allow you to walk on gravel/rocky beaches, go into the water and overcome minor obstacles remaining comfortable, non-slippy and a good fit.

    Lightweigh
Lightweight, bought for my husband as holidaying in Zadar Croatia soon and all beaches are rocky, they sell them in Croatia but that would mean shopping with the hope of getting the size and fit which for us would be a chore

Absolutely perfect if there is no rain for a short trip down to the shop.
Very comfortable and lightweight. A verdict of durability can only be given over a period of time however upon examining the quality of manufacturing I can say that the item is well put together and asides from he rain I would say for the money it was a very smart choice.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDecent fit swimming shoes
Have worn these on two holidays now on rocky coastlines with an abundance of sea urchins and they worked very well.
Thick enough soles to provide protection but light enough not to affect your swimming.
A key point is the size adjustment toggle on the back of the shoe as I usually take a half size but was able to go to the size above and then adjust to a perfect fit using the toggle

    100% buy one size smalle
A lot thinner soled than expected, but this isn’t a negative for me. I’m normally a nailed on size 10, but even a size 9 in these is roomy.
No annoying seams, grippy sole. I’m happy with them.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersPretty comfy, reasonably well made, but sizing was a bit off...for me at leas
My partner and I needed a pair of water shoes each for our holiday to Jamaica, and after reading around, decided on a pair of these. I bought the mens and got the womens for my partner. On reading other reviews, general advice was to size down despite the “fit” showing as true to size by majority vote. It was either that or go by the actual “length” measurements…

I’m a size 8 in trainers, size 8 in “most” shoes, size 7 in some shoes, and 7 in most Skechers. In order to get a size that fit me well close enough, I had to drop down to a size 6 in the mans water shoe. I initially tried a 7 and they were like boats on me. Even the 6 is slightly too large in all dimensions, but it’s the smallest mans size they had. I added a better insole with more padding and shape, and that with the toggle meant they fit pretty snug.

My partner is a 7 in almost everything, and she also sized down on general advice. Hers were initially too tight, so she needed a 7, which fit her perfectly.

With next day delivery and free returns, it’s not too much of an issue, but is a bit of a hassle. Do yourself a favour, measure both feet, take the largest measurement, and go with whatever is closest to their measurement chart. If slap bang in the middle, size up as you can always tighten them with the toggle. Ignore the UK sizes because being made in China, Quality Control isn’t always top of the agenda.

    Good water shoe
The shoes arrived in time and look good. They are certainly very light, but the rubber sole looks like it’ll do well. Ideal for holidaying.
I have marked them four stars because I haven’t used them yet. That’s also the reason for my not scoring them for value for money or comfort.
I would add that I am a typically a size 12 /wide for shoes and so I chose the size 12 here. If it weren’t for the “drawstring” at the back of the shoes, lengthwise they’d be on the large side. However with them, they feel ok. For someone without “wide feet” I’d suggest trying dropping a size.

    Did the job
Bought for a holiday in Wales for a bit of mountain lake swimming and water activities . Yes they are slightly oversized but I think all the more comfortable for it having had overly tight fitting water shoes in the past . The drawstring tightens and holds perfectly in place. Perfect for stony and rocky surfaces and ideal for the sea to stop you standing on anything nasty . Should last well. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThese do come up large! Buy a size smalle
I read the reviews for this product and trusted that it was true to size. It wasn’t. Sadly we noe have a great product, but after trying them on, they are too big. It’s importnat that these shoes are a tight snug fit. Always buy a size down. My husband and son are both size 10-10.5. I bought size 10. Size 9 would have been perfect.
The product deserves 5* but I gave 4* because I was mislead by the sizing. We will by two new pairs from thie selle

Good but it is early days so far.
I am afraid it is too early to really give a proper review, as I have only had them a couple of weeks and I prefer to visit the beach when it is far warmer than January and February.

We live on the South coast of England, whose beaches are filled with pebbles, having cut her foot exiting the sea my wife purchased an overpriced poorly made pair of beach shoes from the beach kiosk which failed within four days of use. So over winter whilst on offer we have purchased a different brand of beach shoe for each member of the family to see which one is best.

The Aqua Shield I purchased for myself, they are very comfortable to wear and appear to be well made. I usually take a size 9 1/2 or euro 43 shoe but the size nine I ordered fit perfectly. I picked the Aqua shield because they looked like a plimsole even with the yellow stripes they do not stand out to much, unlike the gregariously coloured Hot Tuna and Gul beach shoes my wife and daughter chose.

I will provide an update to how they stand the test of time.
