Security ligh
Great security light, easy to install, very bright. Plus settings are on remote control which is a lot easier to set up than trying to adjust switches on light. Good value, Waterproof.
Good quality and easy to operate with remote.
This unit arrived well packed and looks really nice. Used it to replace a more powerful but smaller security floodlight. Could use the same fixing holes due to the long slots on the bracket, (just needed large washers due to the width of the slots), rawl bolts are supplied, but looked a bit overkill to me and would need large holes.
Love the remote operation using the hand control and the options on light level and colour.
Good and bright.
Only criticism is that the distance of the pickup of the PIR is not specified. I found it to be about 3 to 4 meters. This may be less in not weather I guess for to the nature of the PIR operation.

Really good light 30wa
I have a few of these but this is the first one with a remote control. It’s actually a very good idea, as most of these are fixed high up on outside walls, I tested it in the house first before fitting it, and then just used the remote to set the final time, just about 2min as that is all I needed, 30 watt is more than enough for a fairly large area.
It’s been working perfectly since fitted two months ago.
It appears good quality. Really good light output.
Right the lamp itself looks good quality. Some niggles though, firstly the bracket supplied means the lamp is too close to the wall and angling it down is compromised by the sensor hitting the wall.
I fitted a wooden back plate 18mm thick which solved this problem. I bought 3 and one was faulty so I recommend you put a plug on it and test it before installation. Finally set some time aside for setting up the sensor, I spent hours in the dark setting them up using the remote control. This is important because these lamps are really bright for their size and power. (30 watt) No point annoying the neighbours unnecessarily.
Compact and easy to use.
30 watts seems like a lot but it could be brighter. It’s not a huge light so it’s easy to handle.
The metal anchor bolts are not the easiest to use. Be careful not to drill too much as the screw is not fixed to the anchor so can easily dissappear into the cavity and you can’t get it out.
The remote was very handy to use and set what mode you want to use. Far better then the little dials.
The light could be brighter for 30 watts, if you’ve got a larger area then I’d go for the 100 watt edition. Just to guarantee the extra light.
It’s rated IP66, but I’ve just installed it and havnt had a chance to test it under major weather conditions.
All in all, a good little purchase for the price.
Works perfectly, remote control is a big plus
Straightforward enough to replace my old halogen floodlight with this one. The remote control makes it so much easier to set up than getting up and down to the light and adjusting small controls for duration and sensitivity.. Recommended.
LED floodligh
Great, programmable via a remote control so you can change settings and overide on/off without climbing up to the fittings. I would have liked the lamp to rotate further down before the pir hits the wall though. Great long lead on it. Helpful if the connection box is inside rather than outside !
Best security light ever.
Had a few security lights over the years but this one issue certainly the best. Love the remote control force it. Floods the garden really well. Will buy another when this one pops it.
A brilliant piece of security lighting.
I purchased this security light to replace an earlier one . I’m really pleased with the end result. The ease in which to set the light once installed by the remote is great . Very happy!
Outside ligh
This was purchased as a replacement outside light as it comes with a remote, easy to install and the remote works fine,handy when you let the dog out in the middle of the nigh
Good ligh
Had already installed one of these to rear of my house and was very pleased with it. So after ordering, installing a different make of security light to the side of my house which failed quickly and was returned I decided to purchase another one of these as seemed reliable and good quality. Very bright (have since fitted light dims to tone the glare down and stop dazzling my neighbours) and good control from the remote saving climbing up a ladder to adjust. Recommended.
Quality Ligh
Attractive well made light with sufficient cable to pull through cavity wall. Easy to fit to brickwork with own screws and washers (not supplied). Remote enables easy adjustment to setting. Also purchased cable connector to allow extension of cable to power source. 50 watt light great for lighting up 55 feet driveway.
Great ligh
Easy to fit and works great, gives off a powerful beam. I have it at back of house and it’s essential for illuminating garden whilst dog does his midnight pee pees.
Excellent security ligh
This arrived within 2 days of ordering it, so the service was really good. The light was easy to fit, is very bright and compact, and the remote control makes adjusting everything very easy – we’ve always had a sensor light for the back garden, but this is the first time with a remote control one. Will definitely purchase another when needed and would thoroughly recommend.
Good illumination and control, but awkward mounting hardware.
This item works well, and with the remote it makes a really flexible and useful outside light. It’s fairly bright but wouldn’t work for a whole garden. The adjustable sensitivity, the night-only feature and timer all give you a lot of options. There is even a feedback light to tell you the remote is working. The only downside I had is that the mounting clamp forces the light to be installed at an angle. if you want it to point straight down you will need further hardware to do this or find a downward facing place to attach it.

This is a great light and 30w is ample. It is so bright and well made. Time will now tell but, it looks like it will last well in all weather’s. Can’t answer to longevity of the LEDs ye

Small, not in your face and powerful light output almost capable of illuminating my quarter acre back garden equals one happy purchaser.

Good value but remote is Infra Red, Not Wireless.
Great little floodlight – reasonable cable length, easy to install, lightweight, economical, very bright, and lights up a 40ft long driveway.
The only disappointment was that the website details said the remote control was “Wireless”, which to me means “Wi-Fi” or radio frequency. In fact it is “Infra-Red” like a TV remote. I chose this light because I thought I would be able to control it from indoors, as I did with my previous floodlight, without needing to go outdoors and get ‘line-of-sight’ to the sensor.
All that said, I am happy with the rest of its features.
Comes with plenty flex attached, is easy to install, the sensor works well and the light gives off a great light for my driveway also the remote control is a great set up feature, I’m an electrician so have fitted many similar lights but this is one of the easiest and great value for money

Does the job, but not a sensible install bracket., dubious PIR
This really is nice and bright. and the remote is very useful.
Downsides are:
An absolutely stupid design of bracket, or rather the way it attaches to the light. It has the usual screw with a knob attached to mount the light on to the bracket – fine. Unfortunately the light doesn’t have the usual threaded hole for the the screw, but a separate clip that has the nut thread on, and when tightened holds the whole thing in place. Problem with this design is that the clips will fall out while you are trying to mount the light, so it becomes a four handed job!
They need to redesign this or find away of holding the clip in place (hint try a piece of sticky tape or super glue.
The PIR is easily tiggered by blowing leaves, while other PIR lights are not triggered, the sensitivity buttons on the remote don’t seem to make a difference, but its very difficult to understand what the symbols used on the remote mean, a simple + – would have been better!. The ‘manual’ is no better in this respect.
Would I buy again? Maybe if they fixed the PIR sensitivity issue and the mount.
Easy to install but pity there is no user manual for – either supplied or online.
No idea how long it will last, but it’s good to have a remote control (not another one!) that makes it easy to set certain controls, but without a user manual, it isn’t that obvious what one/two symbols mean.
It seems to be well sealed – unlike other ones I’ve used in the past.
as reviewed night motion sensor doesn’t appear to work – have tried with remote control and at different levels – on remote only on or off appears to work -will try again from start to finish re installation and settings but will probably return and purchase a better product-after 2 nd attempt to install the product know appears to work – instruction sheet very poor indeed – trial and error the only way to establish function of product – light is bright and certainly does the job for which it is intended – rocket science not needed to install but patience required to establish that the product sensor does indeed work

Very easy to install thanks to the 1.5 m lead all set up ready to connect, the remote is a good idea and setting the light up through remote is easy to do, i will be buying another for the front of our property

Very simple to install.Screw to a wall with the 2 expanding bolts provided. (I used normal screw and plastic plugs) Fit a 13 amp plug to the 3 cables and away you go. I should point out that the cable is only about 4 feet long so may require an extension lead. Lighting is bright and the sensor is multi adjustable.
A good purchase at 19.99.
Great light for the price cant be beaten!
Bought this to replace an old halogen style motion detection light, worked out cheaper to buy this than replace the bulbs in the other one! It has the added bonus of having a remote control, so you turn it on or off sat in the back garden and adjust the sensitivity.
Bought to replace an old halogen bulb model. Nice white light and bright enough to light the whole garden. Pir sensor works very well and the remote control adds extra versatility. Would have given 5 stars but I think the cable needs to be 12 to 18 inches longer. I just about managed but others might not if their mains supply is a bit further away
Good quality security ligh
The range of adjustments to sensor range and the time the light stays on is very good, the remote control makes it very easy to adjust the settings plus adds the flexibility to turn the light on to illuminate the area for as long as you want, convenient for me as mine is mounted at the rear of my property and can be used to light up the garden for late evening BBQs etc
Been using this now for a few weeks. The remote control is a god send. Got some washing on the line during the warmer evenings. Just turn it off so the motion isn’t triggered by the wind moving it. adjust the time with a click of a button. Entertaining. Just turn it permanently on with one click.
Now! My only downside. The sensor says 2-8 Metres. I don’t know if u have to continuously press the sensor down button to gradually shorten it but I can’t seem to work it out. It activates with my movement at about 5 metres at its minimum ( washing line is about 3 metres hence 2 would be fantastic). You do need a bit of movement to activate it. I think maybe a swaying bush could be ok to not activate. But a cat/dog would set it off.

Did not give 5 stars as I have not had it long enough. However, the remote is excellent and provides a more flexible use of the light rather than just using the sensor, which also works really well.

Nice slim uni
Light came complete with anchor fittings x 2 for wall, unfortunately only comes with a short cable and because its a sealed unit there is no way of replacing the cable, easily overcome by installing a junction box and adding additional cable on from there, bit of a pain if you don’t have the bits, doesn’t come with a plug.
Remote control makes set up so easy and eliminates the need to climb up and down ladders to adjust.
This light provides a bright and wide spread of light. The included remote, provides a long and overdue added extra, that makes the setting up of the floodlight, very much easier. The only problem I have with these mains fed LED lights, is they never reach their quoted end of life data. The last one we had, not this manufacturer, lasted three years just, when three of the LEDs in the array failed, making the light much darker, and only suitable for the bin!!! The light itself was totally sealed, so no repair possible. The quoted life of the light was 50,000 hours, I’ll let you do the maths.
Although the manual gives instructions on how to adjust the length of time the light stays on & how low you want the ambient light to be before the sensor kicks in, the diagram does not show the arrows referred to, nor the ‘sun’ or ‘moon’ indicators. So once you have installed it, getting the sensitivity & time it stays on is a bit of a hit and miss / trial & error routine.
I do like that this comes prewired & can just be fitted to a 13amp plug. Makes installation a lot easier than it used to be for these type of lights !
