A strange but very useful measuring tool ...
This very strange looking tool is a very useful bit of kit … or so my husband says.
This amazing tool is a multi angled, twelve sided measuring ruler and also a five hole locator drill guide, with the holes measuring 24 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 55 mm and 75 mm diameters respectively. This tool is perfect for DIYers, builders, carpenters, kitchen and bathroom fitters alike.
A very well made piece from sturdy and rust proof aluminium, this ruler has rounded edges and no sharp bits making it a pleasure to work with. Also measurement markings are all laser etched and extremely clear.
Not surprisingly this multi angled twelve sided measuring device had found its way into my husband’s tool box and is now one of his most treasured pieces.

Weird - But Useful
Getting this to review was interesting. To be honest I wondered what it was for and how useful it would be and I figured it would be a bit of a waste of time. However, once I got it and worked out what to do with it, actually it turned out to be surprisingly useful.
When I say useful, not in the day to day sense because really its the kind of thing you will use when fitting a kitchen or doing a bathroom. For me, I’ve been renovating a house and thus have done a fair bit of major work and although close (ish) to the end can still justify having something like this.
In a nutshell it’s a multi adjustable thingy. I can’t really give it a name as such but it allows you to accurately make odd things out against a datum of your choice. As in the pictures in the advertising bumph it’s ideal for marking out things like waste holes for kitchens or bathrooms.
And, it’s definitely useful if you are doing some tiling.
Bottom line is that it’s an oddball marking tool that is a genuinely useful site tool.
Great for anyone who is hopeless at measuring things when doing DIY
This handy tool is very useful if, like me, you are hopeless at accurately measuring things when doing DIY. I am hopeless at lining things up or finding the centre of something so this tool is so helpful. You can do so many things with it so it is a great addition to your toolbox. It doesn’t feel that sturdy and I think a professional would need to buy something more robust if they were going to be using it every day. I only occasionally do DIY so it is fine for me.

Good to have one in the house if you do DIY by urself or it’s a must for professionals. Easy to use and understand how this works. Multi angles to measure make this easy. This a great tool to shape corners for tiles and wood.
I’m not a professional but this helps with small domestic usage.
Overall good quality product and reasonably priced. At the time of review this product was available for 15.20 plus an extra 1 off voucher.
Sturdy
This multi angle measuring tool is very sturdy and durable and works as it should. It is twelve sided and comes and the main parts made of metal. Really pleased with this product.
Used it once but I already feel like an expert. So easy.
I have recently used this product once to measure my window to fit a sticker on it and its very easy to use. It’s got screws that can allow you to measure just about any form of shape. It’s long enough and anyone can easily adapt to using it without even needing a manual. Very good value for money and I definitely plan on using this in the future.
Bit fiddly but handy produc
At first I thought this was dreadful. But there’s a knack to it. You have to tighten the hinge screws almost all the way, allowing a little movement to move into place. Once you do that, this is fantastic for marking out odd shapes and holes!
Versatile tool, really useful
This is such a cool tool, I have found so many uses for it I don’t know how I tiled without it before.
The rulers are really well made and very easy to manipulate to however you need them. This is definitely one of those tools that I never imagined existed but is extremely useful.
Useful angle tool for multiple applications
This is a really handy tool, and is being used by a joiner friend of ours, as a really easy way to accurately measure angles and line up holes.
The rulers themselves are well made from metal with clear,easier,emits in both metric and imperial. The only element which is less good quality are the plastic 5-hole positioning apertures, if anything is going to break then it will be those.
Overall a very useful accurate ruler tool, that has many applications, just store it well to keep the apertures in good condition. Four stars from me.

Took some getting used to. But works. It’s fairly accurate if you tighten up everything. It’s only going to be as good as the person using it though!
Not the most used tool but may save some time
This multi angle measuring tool is ideal if putting up plasterboard, tiling, shower panels or anything similar in which you need to measure 5e location of an existing socket or pipe. It’s a little fiddly with all the sections to tighten but once tightened the tool does hold its position. At the end are a series of plastic clip in templates, it’s a shame it didn’t drop down to 15mm for the common pipe size. This doesn’t mean the tool is useless you just need to place the ring over the pipe so it’s centre and the draw round the ring on whatever is being cut and then mark the centre of the ring to use a smaller hole cutter. Its debatable how much quicker this is than measuring in from the side and then the vertical to mark the spot, but in certain situations it will be more precise. It arrives in two sections and can be used as a single longer one or combine the two so flexible to set it up how you want.
Very versatile, easy to use.
My house was built around 100 years ago, and nothing is right angled, I think being on a hill isn’t helping. I am currently renovating and keep running into weird angles. This measuring ruler is excellent for coping with not only the weird angles but for measuring corners too. It is well made and should last well. Being metal I am able to cut and score next to it.
great handy measuring rulers
These are amazingly helpful for measuring things around the house and making your life easier.
I love the design and each join has a screw knob to tighten and a measurement around the join with the degree of bend markings on it. Just make sure all the knobs are tight before you use it first time as a couple of mine fell off when I started to measure.
The end has a great measuring square which is perfect sizes for socket boxes etc and the inside has a round set of circle inserts that you can put the ones in you want to the correct size.
Overall, at only 15.20 for this great set of 2 I think anyone who does DIY around the house should have a set to make your life easier and they are good value for money.

Handy rule
You get a twelve fold ruler whichhas twelve separate linked pieces so you can measure around corners. You can use them straight or bend them in different places as needed.
It is made from an aluminum alloy material so good quality. the ruler sections are helpd together with bolts so you can have one long ruler or divide it up as needed.
It also has two ceramic tile locator hole drill guide.
My husband was pleased with this and has used it when measuring wood for the play fort he is making for the grand kids.
Interesting Device
I am always looking out for kit to make jobs easier and this looked like a good idea for transferring measurements. So far it has only been used to record the position of a power point in order to cut recesses for more points along along kitchen work surfaces. It was certainly a lot quicker than measuring each one but I did find that I had to be very careful to avoid knocking the setting as the knobs on the joints are hard to tighten enough to really prevent movement.
Overall a decent product and I wish I had it when I last laid a tiled floor and am looking forward to it making the job of reflooring the kitchen easier but treat it carefully.
Nice bit of innovatio
There are a number of things that you could use this tool for, however, I think the most obvious one would be for marking out holes in tiles or wall panels to align with the incoming water supply for a shower.
I haven’t used it specifically for that yet (although after testing it out I will be) but rather have spent some time using it in various scenarios to see how flexible, fiddly and practical it is to use.
Firstly the tool is reasonably well made, the main components are metal with a plastic end piece which has pop out circles which can be used to mark out varying sizes of circles. The knobs are large enough to not be too fiddly and they tighten well, not well enough that you can hold the bottom end with one hand and they will take the full weight of the tool fully extended without rotating, but certainly tightly enough that it will hold the shape if you are a little careful. You would need two hands to use it, but in all honesty I can’t see a scenario that this would be a real problem as it’s main purpose is for measuring and marking out.
It folds away relatively neatly although I almost wish that they had made the individual sections just a tiny bit longer which would have allowed the head piece to sit more comfortably on top of the tool when folded.
Overall, the product is well made and if you have a use for it, it will certainly perform.
Very easy to use
Very easy to use, item is as advertised and works well. This multi angle adjustable ruler comes in handy for those tricky corners or pipe layout through boards. I use this tool just like a template and transfer layout onto whatever you desire. Really, there are so many uses for this tool.
Wish I had this before.
This is a brilliant bit of kit and I wish I had one before I tiled the bathroom. This would of come in so handy going round the curved shower and doing the pipes. Glad I’ve got it know for when I do the kitchen. You get two in a bag for 15 it’s a real bargain in my opinion and I definitely recommend it.
A Multifunctional rule
There are 2 pcs in the package, light and aluminum alloy material. It consists of six short rulers and a square measuring hole ( with five large holes in it) . Which are held in place by screws. Tighten the screw hold the shape in place and use it to mark the work. This is a multi-purpose template tool for angle measurement such as tiles, floor, wood or more. You can use it multiple times as long as if you not lose it. It doesn’t take up too much space. However, it’s worth nothing that do not screw too loose, careful to lose the bottom of the screws, because it’s not easy to match. In short, the price is reasonable and can be purchased.
A clever tool that will save a lot of time.
This is unlikely to be a tool one uses frequently but when needed it will save a lot of time. It is very clever and well designed. It is well made and simple to use. Useful for angles. Useful for measure exactly where something should go. Well pleased.
Bend and twist until you get the shape you need .... with such ease
There are 6 short rulers, each one marked with measurements of 0 — 6cm / 0 — 2inch with the curved edges having angles marked on them, this makes it easier to get the angles right
There are 4 circles which slot into each other like one of those Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls. The largest one is 75mm, going down to 55mm. 45Mm, 40mm, 25mm. With the entire square being 100mm squared.
It works great in getting holes in the right places and comes in handy for cutting tiles/wood and more around light switches, plug sockets and a lot more.
The short pieces make it more flexible and the small thumb screws tighten the pieces in place, holding the shape firm for when it comes to marking what you’re working on.
The pieces are metal and made well, with the markings looking as though they should last a while without rubbing out, if they do rub out at all.
In all, a fine snake-like measuring/guide/stencil device which will come in handy much more than once and at a reasonable price too.
Useful adjustable rule
This is supplied folded in a bag with no instructions. It consists of a twelve piece multi-angle measuring ruler, with two x 5-hole positioning apertures with 5-hole templates, 24mm, 40mm, 45mm, 55mm, and 75mm. Mine was split in two with two six piece rulers with a positioning aperture each but they can be combined it required.
The rulers are linked together with allow screw fixings and are made on black anodised alloy with clear markings in both metric and imperial scales. The rulers are a bit tricky to set up at first but can save a lot of time once they are fixed in place, especially if you need to fit multiple fittings or drill holes in the same relative place.
They are not something you will use everyday but can be a real time saver in the right circumstances. They are solidly made and well finished, holding their shape better than my previous one with is made of plastic. Overall this ruler set is not cheap but does work well.
