Der Artikel kam gut verpackt bei mir an.
Die Verarbeitungsqualitt ist gemessen am preis sehr gut.
Das Preis / Leistungsverhltnis wrde ich mit gut bis sehr gut bewerten.
Alles in allem erfllt der Artikel seinen Zweck und es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

I’ve used this on a couple walls whether skirting was missing after some building work this was just to help tidy it up.
Works so easily.
Cut to size peel backing off and stick in place.
Sticks fast not going ro come loose any time soon.
Need a sharp knife to cut it to size but does cut.
Cleaning is easy just give it a wipe with a damp cloth.
The full roll is so heavy.
I used this in an area where the skirting boards are missing and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of this roll.
It is thick and very heavy duty pvc that adheres well to the wall and is more than capable of doing the job it is meant to do.
It isn’t cheap but you are paying for the quality, some others I have tried have been weak and brittle, which are definitely words that you cannot use to describe this.
You get what you pay for, good value for money, Recommended.
Die Sockelleiste ist echt schn. Allerdings muss man sich streng daran halten das der Untergrund absolut sauber ist. Da es sonst nicht richtig klebt. Die Verarbeitung ist absolut in Ordnung. Kabel kann man darunter allerdings nicht verstecken.

Mit dem neuen Laminat wollten wir ein wenig weg von den genagelten Wischleisten, weil die rein optisch einfach nicht zur restlichen Ausstattung passen. Wei erschien schlssig, einfach unsichtbar an der weien Wand.
Material und Umsetzung des Ganzen sind klasse. Zum Zuschneiden muss man echt nur genau messen (am besten 2x) und die Schere ansetzen und gut. Wenn man nach Anleitung installiert, hlt die Leiste auch wirklich sicher. 10 cm Hhe ist definitiv hoch genug fr die blichen Wischer und sollte die Wand auch vor herumstreunenden Staubsaugrobotern schtzen.
Lediglich den Preis fr 10 Meter finde ich ganz schn knackig, aber vielleicht ist die Qualitt das Verkaufsargument. Wir hatten auch schon Leisten, die nach einem Monat von der Wand fielen … und das Problem hat man hier definitiv nicht.
Wir wohnen in einem alten renovierten Haus, dabei wurde wohl nicht ganz perfekt gearbeitet. So sind normale Sockelleisten auf Spannung und die Ngel werden ber kurz oder lang rausgedrckt. Auch Klebepads halten bei den doch recht starren Sockelleisten nicht. Daher waren wir froh ber diesen Test.
Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und die PVC Sockelleiste kommt aufgerollt im Paket. Die Sockelleiste ist recht hoch und die Rckseite ist groflchig mit doppelseitigem Klebestreifen belegt. Diese weichen Sockelleisten lassen sich perfekt an der welligen Wand anbringen und auch zuschneiden. Die Klebeflche hlt die Leisten sehr gut an der Wand und das schon seit 4 Wochen. Ich denke mal das wird auch so bleiben. Preislich ist das ganze super und sieht auch sehr gut aus. Ich finds echt super und werde mir fr andere Zimmer weitere “Weichesockelleisten” bestellen, wenn auch in einer geringeren Hhe.
Dafr gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne.
Die selbstklebende Fuleiste ist einfach und schnell anzubringen, da natrlich nicht genagelt oder geschraubt werden muss. Dadurch ergibt sich auch eine schne Optik ohne Ngel.
Allerdings muss die Wand glatt sein, z.B. rauh verputzte Wnde muss man also glatt schleifen.
Zudem ist die Fuleiste mit derzeit knapp 7/m auch niocht wirklich nicht gnstig.
Je nach ortlichen Voraussetzungen aber durchaus empfehlenswert, also 4 Sterne.
Die Sockelleiste kommt sicher verpackt an.
Sie ist in der Lnge ziemlich schwer, aber man merkt dadurch auch das dicke, robuste Material.
Wir haben uns in unserem Raum auf die Anleitung verlassen und haben die Klebeseite mit einem Fhn erhitzt.
Dann lie sich die Schutzschicht einfach entfernen.
Man sollte das Band auf die ntige Lnge zuschneiden, bevor man es anklebt, da es nicht sehr biegsam ist.
Wir haben die alte Fuleiste aus dem Altbau herausgerissen und das neue Teil drber geklebt.
Sie macht in unserem Raum einen super Eindruck und die 10 Meter haben bei uns durch die Couch, Schrnke und weitere Teile gut ausgereicht.
Nur der Preis von insgesamt fast 70 hat mich berrascht, was ich auch noch fr deutlich zu teuer halte.

Ich habe das Produkt zur Verfgung gestellt bekommen.
Dabei gebe ich meine Erfahrung mit dem Produkt wieder, ohne in jeglicher Weise mit der Firma, welche das Produkt herstellt/verkauft in Kontakt zu stehen.
Die Weichsockelleiste verrt schon in ihrem Namen seine Flexibilitt.
Sie ist etwas breiter, als ich es normalerweise kenne.
Die Leiste besteht aus hochwertigem Vinyl, was sich sehr leicht zuschneiden lsst.
Auf der Innenseite ist ein starker Klebestreifen. Er hlt wirklich super.
Die Oberflche ist zudem verschleifest und bietet Schutz fr Kratzer jeglicher Art.
Das Zehendesign deckt perfekt Lcken zwischen Wnden und Bden ab.
Die Installation ist wirklich kinderleicht und sie macht echt was her.
Der Preis ist leider sehr hoch, meiner Meinung nach und ist deshalb nicht fr jedermann erschwinglich.
Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu bemngeln.

FAZIT:
Ich habe mich fr die weie Sockelleiste entschieden, da diese nun mal am Besten zu den Heizkrpern passt. Das Zurechtschneiden und das Anbringen war ein Kinderspiel und ist auch von einer einzelnen Person problemlos zu bewltigen. Da die Leiste unten ber eine Knickfalte verfgt, hat man auch bei kleinen Unebenheiten kein Problem. Allerdings wre es toll, wenn es eine integrierte Schiene geben wrde, um die Kabel diverser Elektrogerte verstecken zu knnen. BEDINGTE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG

I received the product well-packaged and organised.
This PVC self-adhesive skirting board comes in 3 different colours and I opted for gray.
At first, I thought it would be light weight and thin material, but it turned out hefty, thick and durable.
The adhesive is quite strong, and the material is high quality vinyl.
It is easy to install and durable. Apart from skirting, it can be used to cover the gap between the floor and the wall to add a finished look to a room as well. Additionally, it is quite thick and can with stand wear and tear over time.
Moreover, it comes with a user manual which makes it easier to install the skirting in the most efficient way with some good tips and trick.
In addition, the product is also waterproof and UV resistant as well.
Overall, it is very convenient and easy to install. However, it is bit of a pricey side, but the overall performance is great.
This smartens up a tatting skirting. It is very heavy when it arrives in its box. It is fairly easy to fit. A Stanley knife gives a clean cut used alongside a ruler or piece of wood. It does need pressure to get it to stick but once in place it holds well. I have used it in my bathroom as there is only a short skirting, it would be expensive if using in a large room. I like the look of this product and means no more painting just a wipe down will do.
I ordered this to run around the skirtings in our shower room as I didn’t like the look of the siliconed finish the fitters left it as. I have used a thicker version of this type of skirting in the rest of our home which I have always liked, mostly due to the fact that it doesn’t require painting, lol, so I am quite used to working with this type of product.
On opening, this comes as a rolled up length of ten meters plastic skirting which has a hight of 10cm. Before using this I unrolled it and allowed it to straighten out, this helped me a lot with the measuring and cutting.
Due to the flexibility and how thin the skirting is I found the cutting to be quite awkward but I only have hand tools so someone with the correct equipment would find this much easier. That said, in the end I just cut this to the correct lengths using straight cuts instead of 45 cuts for the corners, the shape of this does seem to allow for straight cuts to work quite well on the corners unlike standard skirtings and any small gaps can be filled using white silicone if required.
After I had a few cuts ready, I washed and dried the wall surfaces in our shower room which has been decorated in plastic laminate wall panels. I firstly made sure that the cuts were the correct length by placing them into position, I had forgot to remove a small amount from the length due to them over lapping at the corners so I had to just trim a small bit off after which it lined up and fitted perfectly.
When ready I loosened one end of the protective covering from the double sided tape which is ready fitted to the skirting and then at the same time as pushing it firmly to the wall I pulled out the protective layer as I went which was pretty quick and easy to do. This skirting stuck very firmly to my walls and I mean VERY firmly, this might be a little down to my having the plastic wall panels but the tape on this does seem to be of a good quality.
I haven’t had the time to fully finish fitting this all round the shower room as there are some very tight and awkward to get into places beside the sink and toilet but I will finish it in time and after some nagging from the wife, lol.
What I have done so far looks pretty good even if I say so myself and thanks to the flexibility of this skirting it has no problems in curving along with any curves in the walls for a tight fit everywhere unlike using a standard wooden skirting which would have gaps that need to be filled and as we live in a ’50s built ex council house all of our walls are very wonky to say the least, lol.

Diese NeatiEase PVC Weichsockelleiste selbstklebend ist 10cm breit und 10m lang. Die Rckseite ist ber die komplette Breite selbstklebend. Der Untergrund mu glatt sein und eine Verarbeitung ab 20 Grad Celsius wird empfohlen ansonsten mit einem Fn die Leiste erwrmen. Der Kleber macht erstmal einen starken Eindruck. ber die Dauer der Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, das wird sich erst mit der Zeit zeigen.
Positiv ist es durch die flexible Gummilippe werden geringe Unebenheiten ausgeglichen was bei einer Sockelleiste aus Holz nicht der Fall ist. Ansonsten ist das anbringen relativ einfach. Den Preis finde ich aber doch sehr hoch.
Ich habe stark unterschtzt wie schwer 10 Meter dieser Weichsockelleiste sein wrden. Nach dem Schleppen und auspacken schlgt einem erst mal ein sehr chemischer Geruch entgegen, der bis heute nicht vollstndig verflogen ist. Das ist aber auch das einzig negative, das ich ber diese Weichsockelleiste sagen kann, ansonsten bin ich mit der Qualitt, der Verwendung und dem Aussehen sehr zufrieden.
Die aus hochwertigem Vinyl-Material bestehende Leiste kann direkt verwendet werden. Das Zuschneiden und Anbringen ist einfach, es muss nur die rote Folie entfernt werden und kann danach sofort angebracht werden. Die Leiste ist selbstklebend, man muss sie nur andrcken und etwas halten, bis der Kleber hlt.
Der Kleber hlt auf allen gngigen Hintergrnden. Bei pulverisierter, rauer oder unebener Wand oder Wandverkleidungen am besten mit Fn nachtrocknen. Hlt gut, sieht gut aus, ich bin zufrieden.

Before attempting to fit this self-adhesive PVC skirting, do pay close attention to the installation instructions that are included (and covered within the product description) to avoid any mishaps. The product is quite versatile, but also a bit limited to smooth, clean, and even surfaces, so with that in mind, repeated trial fitting is advised before removing the backing tape of the adhesive strip. The overall quality is good, the adhesion is relatively strong, and in appropriate areas, the PVC material certainly has an advantage over wooden skirting boards.
First time trying this stuff and I have to say it’s absolutely awesome! I have never done skirting before and was very skeptical about how well this would work but it’s so good it’s finished off my diy self adhesive floor tiles and made the room look professionally done! Going to do every room in my house with this stuff… would love to try the black in my hallway to see if it’s as good
Great product and easy to install. The white vinyl wall base is a nice bright white. It rolls out flat and is very easy to cut to the desired length. Once you have the length you need, just peel off the backing off adhesive and firmly push onto the wall. I did before peeling backing paper off adhesive just warm the skirting board, not only to make it more flexable but to just make the tape a little tackier, in my eyes it sticks better. Dressed up my unfinished spare room much more quickly and easily than I expected. I always fear running into problems in using a new product, but this product presented no issues. Highly recommend it.
When correctly applied, the finished appearance is very pleasing. In my opinion, it is never going to look as nice as conventional skirtings but it is definitely just the job for specific applications and circumstances.
This is a brilliant idea and one that has made such a difference in my bathroom. I have used this to go around the vanity unit and bath. I did remove the old skirting along the bath as we were replacing the side on it so it wasn’t a special job. With the new side on the bath, I was then able to apply this skirting. It was so easy to do and there was enough for me to go around the vanity unit on the sink.
Our bathroom is quite small and being able to use this instead of messing about trying to get a wooden board was so much easier. Now this is in place It gives such a better finish. Easy to use and has stuck well. I did add some additional adhesive to the side of the bath but this is because this skirting was being put in a room that would get humid. The section around the vanity unit I put on without additional glue, and to be honest it has stuck well and I have had no issues with it peeling off.
I am delighted with this and while it is a bit pricy the finish it gives is great. I don’t need to paint it or do anything else to it for years. I would definitely recommend this.
und aufgerollt kam die graue < NeatiEase > PVC Weichsockelleiste (10 cm x 10 m) in einem kleinen Karton schnell bei mir an. Sie roch zuerst etwas stark nach Chemie, dass kommt wohl von dem Kleber auf der Rckseite. Der Geruch reduzierte sich nach ein paar Tagen. Ich mchte die PVC Weichsockelleiste demnchst fr unser Bad nutzen und habe daher erst ein kleines Probestck damit gefertigt. Das Material wirkt gut, der Farbton gefllt und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Das Ankleben ist recht einfach und mit einem Haarfhn habe ich die Spannung aus der aufgerollten Weichsockelleiste nehmen knnen. Wenn ich das Bad neu gestrichen und andere Erneuerungen durch gefhrt habe, kommt zum Schlu die graue Weichsockelleiste an die Wand. Ich bin sehr zuversichtlich, dass ich es ohne Probleme schaffe und es dann topp aussehen wird. Unkomplizierte, praktische Weichsockelleiste und der Preis fr 10 cm x 10 m ist zur Zeit ca. 70 .
This item is very good, tidies up tatty wood skirtings and makes them look brand new.
The adhesion is super strong, and the item is easy to cut. I used a stanley knife and just scored it a few times over.
Would recommend but it is very expensive.
Die Anleitung ist ausschlielich auf Englisch enthalten. Fr mich kein Problem, aber ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es gut ist, wenn man sowas vorher wei.
Die Leiste hat eine groe Klebeflche und damit auch eine sehr hohe Klebekraft. Fehler beim Kleben knnen nicht korrigiert werden.
Bei mir sieht das Ergebnis zwar nicht gut aus, aber immerhin besser als vorher. Ich habe von so Heimwerk-Kram absolut keine Ahnung, man verzeihe mir also das Ergebnis.
I have been lining out the summerhouse I got last year so this has come at the right time really, So far it works well, It is really easy to cut and the stick is great so far and time will tell on that if it stays stuck over a longer period of time but I cannot see why it wouldn’t, It is really easy to wipe clean and def a good alternative the standard wood skirting and I think a lot easier to fit.
Auf der Rckseite ist ein Klebestreifen, der mit einer roten Schutzfolie berzogen ist. Die Sockelleiste roch arg nach Chemie, sodass ich sie fr ein paar Tage in der Garage auslften musste. Das Anfangsstck hatte ich erstmal gerade geschnitten, um einen sauberen Anfang zu haben. Das Verkleben geht relativ gut und die Leiste ist auch schn biegsam, was man auch gut mit einem Fhn untersttzen kann. Die Klebekraft ist gut, vorausgesetzt die Wnde sind im Sockelbereich gerade und haben keine Lcher.
Die Qualitt ist top, auer, der Anfangsgeruch und die Verarbeitung, bis auf die Anfangskante, alles sauber. Das Preis- Leistungsverhltnis ist gerade noch im grnen Bereich. Der Zuschnitt geht gut, entweder mit einem Cuttermesser oder einer Haushaltsschere. Die Leiste lsst gut reinigen, einfach drber wischen, fertig 😉
Vielen Dank, dass Du Dir die Zeit genommen hast meine Rezension zu lesen. Ich hoffe, dass ich damit ein wenig, auch mit den Fotos, weiterhelfen konnte.
Die Sockelleiste ist aus hochwertigem Vinyl – Material hergestellt und wahlweise in grau, schwarz oder wei erhltlich. Ich selbst habe mich in diesem Fall fr klassisches wei entschieden, da sich dieses meiner Meinung nach am besten zu der aus weien Mbeln bestehenden Zimmereinrichtung einfgt.
Unmittelbar nach dem ffnen des Umkartons war ich im brigen zunchst ein wenig berrascht, da die Sockelleiste real 10 cm und nicht fnf Zentimeter breit ist: In der Produktbeschreibung steht letztlich als Titelbezeichnung zwar etwas von 10 cm Breite bei 10 Metern Lnge, die mgliche Auswahl suggeriert wiederum aber eine Breite von fnf Zentimetern bei 10 oder fnf Metern Lnge. Kurzum: Ich hatte sie mir schmaler vorgestellt, letztendlich aber dennoch montiert bzw. verarbeitet.
Die Verarbeitung bzw. die Montage der Sockelleiste ist meiner Erfahrung nach ausgesprochen einfach und praktisch selbsterklrend: Zunchst ist auf einen sauberen, staub – und fettfreien Untergrund zu achten bzw. die Montagestellen entsprechend zu reinigen. In meinem Fall habe ich die Sockelleiste nach dem Zuschnitt direkt auf die vorhandene Vliestapete geklebt, mit durchaus ansprechendem Ergebnis, meines Erachtens nach.
Prinzipiell geeignet ist die Weichsockelleiste brigens fr nahezu alle glatten Untergrnde wie z.B. Fliesen, Marmor Metall, Glas oder Holz, sie kann aber auch direkt auf glatte Wnde bzw. Putz “montiert” werden. Um eine gute Klebewirkung sicherzustellen, darf dieser selbstredend nicht kreidend oder sandend sein. Im Zweifelsfall empfiehlt es sich meines Erachtens nach, die Klebewirkung bzw. Haftung bei schwierigen Untergrnden, beispielsweise Schaum – Vinyl – Tapete etc., vorab mit einem kleineren Teilstck der Weichsockelleiste zu testen. Das Zuschneiden der Sockelleiste selbst ist unkompliziert: Man kann hierfr eine handelsbliche Haushaltsschere verwenden, wobei ich persnlich dies mit einer Blechschere vorgenommen habe. Aufgrund der Flexibilitt lsst sich die Sockelleiste auch auf etwas unebenen Wnden verarbeiten, die Klebewirkung selbst ist im brigen sehr gut. Achten sollte man meiner Ansicht nach auf einen geraden Verlauf an der Oberkante des Sockelprofils, zu Gunsten einer sauberen, fachlich korrekt aussehenden Montage. Die Knickstelle im unteren Bereich der Weichsockelleiste lsst zum einen auch leichte, gewisse Unebenheiten im Fubodenbereich zu, zum anderen stellt diese auch eine gewisse Abdichtung dar: In Kombination mit einem Fliesenboden, Beton – Estrich, Vinylbden oder auch PVC Auslegware beispielsweise kann die Weichsockelleiste das Eindringen von Wischwasser etc. verhindern. Wie auf meinen angehngten Dateien bzw. Fotos zu sehen ist im Zimmer, wo ich die Sockelleiste angebracht habe, Teppichboden bzw. Auslegware verlegt: Bisher war dort berhaupt keine Sockelleiste vorhanden, fortan stellt diese Weichsockelleiste nun den sauberen optischen Abschluss zum Teppichboden her. Nebenbei bemerkt dient diese nun auch als Scheuer – bzw. Stoschutz, wenn man mit dem Staubsauger “arbeitet”. Die Weichsockelleiste ist dahingehend brigens ausgesprochen unempfindlich und nimmt dadurch keinen Schaden bzw. entstehen dabei keine etwaigen Kratzspuren.
Bei allen Vorzgen die ein derartiger Wandabschluss letztlich bietet gibt es meiner Ansicht nach jedoch auch einen gewissen Nachteil: Es ist kaum mglich, etwaige Kabel, beispielsweise Lautsprecherkabel und hnliches optisch unauffllig zu verstecken. Gut, bei Auslegwaren knnte man vielleicht noch ein Kabel unter der Knickstelle verschwinden lassen, bei Laminat etc. sollte man dies aufgrund des notwendigen Spielraumes fr`s “Arbeiten” jedoch nicht in Erwgung ziehen, meiner Ansicht nach.
Die Materialqualitt des Produkts an sich ist meiner Meinung nach jedoch sehr berzeugend bzw. gut: Ich persnlich habe keinen etwaigen, eventuell gar unangenehmen Geruch festgestellt, was wiederum die Aussage “ungiftig bzw. nicht schdlich” in der Produktbeschreibung meiner Meinung nach durchaus Glaubhaftigkeit verleiht.
Alles in allem bin ich soweit zufrieden mit diesem Produkt und kann dieses grundstzlich gesehen durchaus gerne und guten Gewissens empfehlen. Der Grund fr den meinerseits vorgenommenen Punktabzug ist letztlich einzig und allein auf die wie schon erwhnt “unerwartete Hhe” von 10 cm zurckzufhren, welche im brigen anhand der bildlichen Darstellungen in der Produktbeschreibung so auch nicht auf den ersten Blick zu erahnen ist.

I have looked at the back side to see how affective the adhesive is and it seems very good.
I don’t expect any problems with fitting.
I am waiting for the weather to warm up before fitting as it recommends to be no lower than 20C / 68 Fahrenheit when fitting or you may have to use a heat gun or hairdryer to ensure the adhesive sticks correctly.
The bottom edge is angled to sit flush with the flooring and the skirting can be wiped clean. I will update my review if I have any issues.
Available in white, gray or black and comes in either 5 m length or 10 m length.

Die Leisten lassen sich problemlos krzen und schauen auch gut aus.
Die Klebeleistung stellt mich persnlich nicht zufrieden.Das ist aber auch bei anderen Weichsockelleisten anderer Firmen auch so.Hier und da lst sich was was dann mit Kleber wieder fest geklebt werden muss.
Das Produkt erfllt seinen Zweck gut und insgesamt sind wir aktuell zufrieden.
Having just built a garden office i decided to use this kind of skirting for protection because it is rugged and still looks good.
This comes on a decent sized roll of 10 metres and is really easy to apply.
The quality of the PVC skirting is good and when i was attaching it i found it to be nice and sticky and easy to cut.
It has given a really nice finish now so i would recommend this for others
Happy with the thickness and flexibility. Really easy to cut and shape, adhesive works well even on uneven surfaces. It provides excellent malleability and formability , just ensure that you have it correctly positioned before sticking down, almost impossible to move once stuck.
Overall very professional product , user friendly. Would recommend.
A very good fix for smarting your garage and generally tidying things up with your floor and wall. It sticks on well and is waterproof.
A no-nonsense approach to skirting boards.
Die Weichsockelleiste kommt in einem Karton. Leider riecht sie zunchst sehr stark; dies ist bei PVC leider hufig so. Vor der Verlegung in Innenrumen wrden wir die Sockelleiste daher grndlich auslften lassen. Darber hinaus ist das Produkt schnrkellos.
Ich habe diese selbstklebende Weichsockelleiste Knickleiste, 10 cm x 10 Meter (Wei) bestellt, weil ich die Sockelleisten im Bad erneuern musste. Diese Weichsockelleiste riecht schon sehr chemisch, was ich erst mal an frischer Luft ausdunsten lassen musste, bevor ich damit arbeiten konnte. Ich reagiere sehr darauf. Das Material ist ein robuster und biegsamer Kunststoff, der mich an Silikon erinnert. Er lsst sich gut an den Sockel anlegen. Allerdings musste ich die Leistenabschnitte gut angedrckt halten, damit sie insbesondere auch an den Ecken gut halten. Die gesamte Rckseite der Leiste ist flchig selbstklebendem, somit hlt die Leiste sehr gut. Allerdings sagt der Hersteller, dass man bei struckturiertem Untergrund mit Kleber nachhelfen sollte. Bei uns im Bad haben wir nur Fliesen. Da hat das Anbringen problemlos geklappt. Die Weichsockelleiste lt sich mit einer starken Schere gut krzen. Gut an diesem Leistensockel finde ich auch die Form: die Oberkante ist abgerundet zur Wand und der Leisten Fu hat eine rund 1cm breiten Knick zum Boden hin. Das finde ich sehr hygienisch, denn so kommt man sehr gut an den Dreck beim Saubermachen ran. Die Oberflche wische ich einfach beim Wischen des Bodens mit ab. Sehr unkomplizierte und praktische Weichsockelleiste. Gefllt mir. Der Preis fr 10x10m sind aktuell rund 70.
Silicone Plastic self adhesive skirting.
I have fitted plastic skirting in the past, it’s used mainly commercial applications where you expect to mopping floors with chemical cleaners daily, in conjunction with a heavy duty vinyl floor, so anywhere where hygiene is of great importance, or you expect water on the floor frequently and a traditional wooden skirting is not suitable.
On these occasions I used contact adhesive on both surfaces, after first “dry” fitting the skirting ie cutting to size.
Adhesive technology moves on – and these skirting come with “self-adhesive” already applied. This is certainly easier than using applying pungent contact adhesive to both wall and skirting and waiting for it to go touch dry.
As ever a good smooth firm and clean surface is a prerequisite for good adhesion.
In terms of working with material it was as expected, cutting and scoring with a “Stanley” knife, and using a heat source, like a heat gun on low, to make the material flexible to fitting to shape, in corners etc.
I would advise broadly the same method, cutting to size and fitting as much as you can before removing the protective film over the adhesive.
A convenient product in a useful length, an working out a roughly 7 per metre.

Have applied this in my garage to add a nice finish between the floor and the breeze block walls
Sticks well, although its a little thick so can be difficult to manage – defo needs 2 people to do it well
The finish is great, the floor is now sealed so creepy crawlies have one less way in – and its so easy to sweep up now
