Review from my husband:
Although I would say these trousers feel heavy when you get them out of the pack, they are actually quite lightweight when on compared to other brands I have had. They fit comfortably and don’t irritate around the waist as some others have done.
There are an ample amount of pockets on these, but I just tend to use one for my phone as don’t like to be weighed down with stuff.
After wearing them for a good few hours, I was really glad for the zippable vents at the bottom sides as it can get warm work when sunny. I found these super comfortable to wear and thankfully, cannot vouch for how protective they are against a chainsaw slip, but I dare say they would definitely do the job.
These may seem expensive at 111 (at the time of review), but these sorts of specialist trousers are not cheap, and really, you can’t put a price on the peace of mind for safety. Recommended.
As a mother it does my heart good to see the care taken in making these trousers as safe as possible. They are made of a very strong polyester with 4 way stretch plus elasticated back of waist which means they move well with wearer who is also well protected from cuts scratches oil and other debris There are also extra protection pads on front and left side of legs and all areas of friction. There are usefull zipped pockets to front and back Although heavy weight in protection they are light weight to wear and very very comfortable. I have not tried to wash them yet but as they are made of polyester and nylon there should be no problems. They look good too.
The first thing I noticed when examine these trousers is the weight. Much heavier than normal workwear trousers these are very good quality and the attention to detail in the making of these is second to none. In black and red there are numerous pockets for storing all the tools you need. My husband has pronounced himself delighted with these for the purpose he needs them for – namely cutting down some overhanging tree branches.
I hate him using a chainsaw and feel these trousers will give him the added protection he needs and give me peace of mind. These trousers are expensive but you get what you pay for and in this case you get the best workwear protection trousers I have ever come across. These trousers arrived promptly (the next day) and were beautifully presented in a red and black box with carry handle. Five stars and I highly recommend.
