When this arrived and I read the instructions I was afraid that we would mess up completely or that it would take a long time. It was very easy after all. You just merge the clays with your hands and press baby’s foot and hand on it while still warm. And ta-da! You’ve got the little one’s footprint and handprint for life… I look at them every time and my heart melts…
I wanted to redo the left foot but as you can see, I took too long and there a little mark that I couldn’t get rid of. So just be quick!
Seems good and fairly easy to do. I listened to one of the reviews and kneaded the clay for 10 mins. I let it dry slowly and it did not crack.

My son and I made the grandparents a lovely gift this Christmas with this set. They are very pleased with the result and have said it will be cherished forever. I was surprised at how easy this set was to use, I often find instructions for craft sets difficult to understand quickly. The process did not take very long at all however we did need 5 days to dry our casting to frame it.
This product was as described but I found it difficult to get prints like the picture as my little one curled up toes and as 4 months couldn’t put pressure on them to get deeper prints.
Lii oh belt idea but clay sets quick and baby’s like to move around. Best for feet as hands are hard to do
Although we managed to do it baby needed two people and we had to roll out a few mistakes
This is a nice product. It was a little difficult doing hand/foot print in the clay, as you have to press really pretty hard (do it while baby is asleep!) but overall I think it’s a good item and would make a nice gift for new parents.
I used this for my sons hand and foot print. It was easy to use. There were 2 clay bags in the packet. I used both of them to fit into that space. It took a while to dry. I pushed it into the frame when it was still bit soft. Because of that It created mold on the back of the frame. It wasn’t too bad as i wiped it off and dried it properly. So avoid my mistake and wait until it’s completely dry. It’s a nice gift though. I would vuy it again and next time follow the instructions properly.
My baby is nearly 5 month old and hand and food fit in the area nicely but I think much bigger hands and feet wouldn’t look nice anymore. My first attempt to get a print of the foot was not successful since my baby likes to fold his toes in… I smoothed it up again and did a 2nd try which was not perfect but I left it – same with the hands. You have to press hand and foot quite strong on it to get a proper deep print and at the same time convince your baby not to wiggle around…;)
One other thing to keep in mind: as you press foot and hand in the surrounding clay obviously bulges up – so get that frame and try it on as long as the clay is still wet!
