Bought this as a treat for my wife, (I do spoil her).
Upon arrival she was keen to get it out and have a go (easily pleased).
The packet of new batteries it came with contained dead batteries. (Nobodies fault , just 1 of those odd things in life)
Once she got it up and running she was in the bathroom giving it a trial.
    The feedback was positive.
    Fairly quiet for a shaver.
    Easy to use
    Does a good job.
Remember guys, ” Happy wife-happy life”.

This device is really easy to use and light to hold. I have tried other feminine shavers over many years, but this is the best by far. Very pleased with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHad to come on here and write a review as this Phillips shaver is the only shaver that actually works and shaves you properly. Well worth the money and cheaper than babyliss which is rubbish. Love this Phillips shaver. 10/10

I’m a woman. For the last two years, I’ve had to bend right over to shave thick, rust-coloured hair from my legs in a shower cubicle barely 2.5-foot square, designed by a man to meet male needs. My back hurt like hell. Gel got everywhere. My vision is terrible and I constantly risked slipping over on spilt gel. (Thank God that never happened.)

Now, I can stick my foot on a kick stool in the living-room and shave in 10 minutes while singing along to Sophie Ellis-Bextor. This product has CHANGED MY LIFE. Roll on summer; I can’t wait to show off these legs!

I have had this model for well over 10 years now. Despite buying more modern, ‘improved’ lady shavers inbetween….none of them has ever been as reliable and consistent as this make and model (including Philips own next step up shaver).
I dont use the foil part. Just the trimming edge for legs, armpits and tidying the private area. Never had a nick, cut or razor burn ever. Just good smooth skin. I love it for shaving inbetween using a hand razor in the shower (which will always be a closer shave).
Its really quick and easy to use….so good…I have finally bought a replacement as really my 10 year old one is worn out looking…despite still giving me a good shave.

Good basic / entry level battery lady shave. Not quite as smooth as a razor but not far off. Very quick and easy to use and didn’t irritate my legs when used dry. The lid is v hard to pull off and moves the whole shaver head which is a little annoying. Haven’t tried armpits yet…

Golden Review Award: 149 From Our UsersOk, I did my research and after looking around I went for this one. I am recently single so like a lot of ladies out there I decided to enjoy not shaving for a while. The day came though where enough was enough and I needed to get back on the ball with shaving routines. However I was not looking forward to going back to my usual razor to tackle this mission so decided on buying this beauty. I first tried it on my legs and I was soooo happy at how quick and easy this was to do. I didn’t even have to go back over areas like I originally thought I would have to do considering how long it had been. Didn’t hurt one bit, didn’t leave redness or cause irritation like my razor use to. So I was thrilled. I didn’t just buy this for my legs though so decided to tackle the next task which was my bikini line, that didn’t go as smoothly. I decided to do that job in the shower and noticed the razor didn’t work aswel wet as it did dry. Decided to battle through and kept catching it on my skin…honestly felt like I ripped my ovary out!! I was so thankful at this point that I decided to start at the top of my bikini line and not the bottom Didn’t shave the hair as well as it did on my legs so decided to abort mission before I caused myself an incredibly embarrassing accident. Had to use a standard razor for the rest of the job so overall review is I’m glad I bought it cause my legs now look great and it was so quick and easy to do but I think I’m going to have to have a rethink on another razor for the bikini line.

Edit*** after repeatedly using this on my legs since first buying, it doesn’t seem to be working as well. Leaves me with stubble. As all ladies with dark hair will appreciate is like the worst thing. Had to go back to the trusty standard razor that takes half your skin off and leaves you covered in blood. My god why did I have to be a woman good luck on the continued search ladies.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased this item as I quite often suffer from nasty shaving rashes when using disposable ‘wet’ razors, so I wanted an alternative to use between proper shaves so that I could give my skin a break! So far I’ve found the Philips Ladyshave fantastic, it leaves my legs silky soft (with very little stubble – but nothing can beat a wet shave) and is very quick and easy to use. I have yet to try this razor in the bath or shower so my results are only based on dry skin. I’m pleased to report that I’ve not suffered any rashes since!

The only downside is that the razor doesn’t seem to perform as well on areas with coarse hair (e.g. armpits, bikini area). In these areas I find that there is much more stubble left over and the result isn’t quite as smooth, which is a shame as I would have quite liked to use this razor to shave these areas as a permanent alternative to wet shaving. Also, as some reviewers have mentioned, it would have been a nice addition for the manufacturer to supply a carry case with this product, although it’s not essential.
