Purchased these lights as a group, to replace ones that were beginning to fade and fail.
I will have to query the longevity of the lights the manufacturer makes.
However these were well packaged, safely boxed and well presented. Fitting is easy as it is one for one replacement. Be careful to ensure the offset lugs are in situ correctly.
The six lamps shine bright in my kitchen and revived the ambience of the room. We will have to see how long they last before replacement is required. I can recommend them at this stage.

I got one in the box where the pins were wonky so it didnt line up to slot into the light fitting. Others were fine and theyre a nice tone

The bulbs are good. Fit in the Gu10 holder. I just took the small pin in the holder out with a small knife and they fit in. Work well and provide good light.

One kitchen ceiling spotlight stopped working. Wanted to replace like with like.
So glad I chose Cool White rather Warm as makes my small kitchen so much brighter.
    Thank you so much!

It isn’t really possible to rate these for economy or longevity in the time period I have been using them. They work fine, none has failed, but the colour isn’t as cool a white as I would have liked

I’m using these in my home office and wanted something a little brighter then a soft white but not as harsh as some of the blue whites you get. Good value although I did order mine as Amazon warehouse item.

I’ve used these bulbs before in a previous house and I had no hesitation in buying more for my new home. They replaced the old halogen bulbs and brightened up a dull dark galley kitchen with one window.

I buy these because they give a great light for our bathrooms but we are changing them every 18 months or so. I even got the electrician in to see if my fittings were at fault but he says they are fine . So whilst they save electricity we are still paying out a lot to buy them in the first place !

I recently made the mistake of picking up a pack of cheaper brand GU10 bulbs on Amazon, what a mistake! Lasted barely a month before they started blowing in succession, and within a few months I had 0 lights remaining of my 6 spots in the kitchen.

However Philips are different, i’ve had fantastic experience with Philips bulbs (I am an avid HUE enthusiast), and these bulbs don’t dissapoint. Much more longevity than the other brands and not much more expensive!

TL:DR – Don’t waste your time with unknown brands for bulbs, you will only end up dissapointed. Stick with Philips! Excellent quality product, highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersBulbs seem very good quality and very bright.. However I wouldn’t class them as “cool white 6500k” bulbs. They’re more like “daylight/neutral white 4000-4500k” bulbs.

In the pics I have attached. I have a cool white bulb to the left. Philips cool white bulb in the middle, and a warm white bulb on the right (both cheap led bulbs off ebay).. As you can see. The Philips cool white bulb light, falls in between the two either side of it, colour wise.

With them being Philip bulbs aswell.. They should last 10-15 years at least hopefully! However the cheap led warm white bulbs, pictured on the right. Did last me 5 years, before they starting going man down, one by one… And the cheap cool white ebay bulbs, pictured on the left. I have installed in my bathroom and kitchen. Which haven’t failed me yet! Which are over 5 year old

5.0 out of 5 stars DAYLIGHT/NEUTRAL WHITE.... NOT COOL WHITE

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased another two boxes of 6 of these excellent GU10 LED lamps. EXCELLENT amount and quality of light. For a bulb that uses under 5 Watts of power the light output is extraordinary. The cool WHITE is not a cold bluish tint you get with some LED lamps. 4000 Kelvin is a very pleasing white – not too yellowish and not to cold and bluish either. With a very even 30 degree angle spread of of beam from the very clever little lens system – the effect of the lamps is very even spread of light. For some people the light colour of the “cool white” might be just a wee bit to cool for living rooms and bedrooms. Philips GU10 WARM WHITE HOWEVER, this is way too warm YELLOW for my liking- plus light output is much lower than the Cool-white version. The latest offer on a 6x pack puts the price per bulb at well under 2 making them the best value for money I have encountered for this type of bulb. I have had a bunch of these LED bulbs working now for several months with ABSOLUTELY NO FAILURES thus far.
