My college age daughter loved playing with Polly Pockets when she was little. And now my 6 year old great niece is loving playing with her Polly Pockets. The play set is compact so easily transports. It has a fun theme Sushi Shop Cat. And was very affordable. A great purchase that my niece will play with for a long time to come.

My daughter is 4, and this is her very 1st Polly Pocket toy ever. Me as her mother, not so much lol! These are very similar to what I grew up on but also very different from what I remember also! I thought Polly had rubber clothes for some reason only her hair is rubber lol maybe it’s just in sets like these that it’s like that? This is the 1st set I’ve bought since Polly Pocket has been back as well. I think these are super cute, but they do lack space where to fit everything, there’s little pegs for the little figures to set up on and there are many different ways to set it up! But my 4 year old is very logical, she doesn’t want to put a vending machine where the dance floor is and it doesn’t fit if you have the two yellow chairs set up at the top level table anyways, also I had to explain to her that if you sat outside you’d seen food vendors & the fish and ice cream are super small. I keep trying to attach the fish on the side of the food cart one and keeping the ice cream in Polly’s hand since those are the smallest of the pieces here. Overall I want to buy her more!

When I saw the sushi cat restaurant compact online, it seemed like a great addition to my collection but I was skeptical. After opening up the package when it arrived, any worries that the set might seem cheap or low value melted away. The colors on the compact are not too bright, unlike some current Polly Pockets. The assembly was easy and intuitive. The little figurines fit in the chairs and the pegs work for placing accessories and dolls in scenes. Overall, this playset was the perfect addition to my current collection and I couldn't recommend it enough!

I bought this as a.Xmas present so haven’t got it out of the box it was shipped in yet however, my grandson is obsessed with Polly Pocket so am sure he will be over the moon come Xmas time!

Pieces do all fit inside, ignore people who say they don'
This is a far cuter set than any other current sets. I only buy the vintage, reproduction ones, and this one was actually really pretty and fun to get. Thanks Mattel.
As to saying the pieces don’t all fit inside, they do. You have to take more pieces off than you may think, but they all easily fit in. Hot tip, remove the chair in the middle of top most area and now the food service bulky piece fits here.
For me this was the only one of the new sets that I wanted. It is VERY PRETTY and super detailed. It has a relaxing stylish vibe and lots of pieces to add to mix and match play.
