Hot need to cool dow
The only problem I found was the add on to fit around window doesn’t fit, it will fit a sliding window but not a pull out window but it’s free with the appliance so not complaining good air uni
Brilliant produc
I purchased this last year and had a full years use out of it, it is perfect in every way and better still is the customer service, they are so helpful and easy to contact.
Highly recommend 5 star+
It slices through the hea
We got this to cool rapidly, and it certainly does. A bit of faffing fitting the hose to an outdoor window, as th3 gasket supplied didn’t our “little window at the top” (IFYWIM) we had to create one. Once we did that it works really well. The room is cool in minutes and we are comfortable very quickly
It cools the ai
For 500w of power usage it provides a lot of cooling power perfect for small rooms. Like all portable AC sold in this country you have to adapt the window kit to work with uk style double glazed windows. If you have a big area to cool then I would suggest a dual hose inverter system. It is noisy but single hose non inverter units I have tried are, but this is under half the price. Wi-Fi is a bonus so you can turn it on prior to coming come or going to bed
Perfec
Perfect aircon for the summer times, easy to install the window kit. Comes with remote control altho i perfer to use the app on my phone. The aircon is abit too loud but its better than sweating and sitting in the heat. Highly recommend
The Pro Breeze 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner 9000 BTU has been an absolute game-changer for my home comfort, especially during hot summer days. This powerful air conditioning unit not only provides instant relief from the heat but also comes with several impressive features that have left me thoroughly impressed. I have owned different units before but this one is a game-changer, it cools down the room very quickly and works like an actual built in ac unit.
Installation was a breeze thanks to the window venting kit included with the unit. It fits most standard windows, and the setup process was straightforward with clear instructions provided in the manual.
I love the ease of controlling it from my phone via wifi, means you don’t always have to get up to change the temperature or be able to turn it on and off when your require. For houses who do not have built in AC I would highly recommend this product – I have been telling all my friends to buy them as well.
Faulty but....
I am giving this 4 stars even though i had to return it as it was faulty. I would have ordered another one from the same company if i hadnt needed it so fast. The return and refund process was handled excellently despite it being a large heavy package and the refund was prompt.
So having Hyperhydrosis and going through the menopause, keeping my body temperature at normal levels is an up hill struggle, particularly during the summer. This has made a HUGE difference. Easy to fit the outlet and cooled the downstairs to a comfortable temperature really quickly. I would highly recommend this model for a small to medium room, it’s works off of Alexa and iPhone app. It has a night function as well. I have a smart meter and it only uses 24p an hour so isn’t energy heavy.
If you are struggling with the heat I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about it.
Works well
This does cool down the room nicely. I wouldn’t say it would do anything much bigger than double bedroom. But I haven’t tried out in a bigger space. The only reason it is 4 stars is because I have no idea what the water drainage pipe thing is for. Didn’t come with instructions.
Great product, easy to install. Gets to temperature in minutes. Has helped so far in giving me a comfortable nights sleep in these hot and humid night we are currently having. The only negative so far is it is a little noisy but it has a fan running all the time so to be expected. Also the wifi instructions to connect to Alexa weren’t too clear but got there in the end. Top product!
Great machine
They’re a lot of talk about noise. It’s fine, it’s about average even on high, so don’t beet yourself up about finding something less noisy.
It cools quickly, it’s fine in an average double bedroom.
As with all air cons it come with a window kit for a sash window. They are not massively common so I’m not sure why the don’t included a kit that tire a swing open window.
That said It’s a great unit and works well.
It’s loud but omg does it work!
I have this device in my bedroom and it’s keeps my room so cool that when I open my bedroom door, it cools down the hallway and my daughter’s bedroom. I stick the tube out the window so my window is a bit ajar but other than that perfection! Love it!
Ignore the bad reviews, this is perfec
Was almost put off by a lot of the negative comments, but this AC has exceeded all expectations. It’s not too big, the window seal works perfect and it’s amazing at keeping our room cool. Yes, it is noisy – but if you’re more concerned about noise over actually staying cool then just buy a fan.
Amazing
I was really worried about buying one as never had one befor but let me tell you this unit is unreal read reviews on it and some people said it’s loud not at all do I think it’s loud and it made my room that cold I went in to another to warm up over the moon with it definitely recommend i
Grea
I’ve seen a few people talk about the noise, it’s fine. It’s only as loud as a regular fan at at high speeds, so in higher temperatures it’s definitely worth to get this over a fan. Easy to set up and doesn’t take up much space. Very happy, can finally relax in this heat.
Our son recommended the make as he has a 9000 BTU unit.
We have a dormer bedroom so it gets hot in the roof. Area is around 15 feet 12 feet.
At 20 BTU / Ft that works out to roughly 3600 BTU of required cooling so in theory the 5000 unit should be adequate.
I vented the unit straight through a wall into the roof void so there is no dodgy window fittings needed and the house is still secure.
After an hour on Low at 18’C the room was comfortable. After 2 hours it was cold, found ourselves pulling the quilt a bit closer. So we could turn it off.
Reasonably quiet on the low setting with the sleep function set and had no problems sleeping.
Best nights sleep we have had so far during this hot weather.
Arrived today. Unable to use it yet as the hose is too short to reach a top window.
I have had to order an extension hose. I did not order one at the same time of purchase as i could not believe
the issue had not been sorted out.
It has been metioned in the reviews enough times.
Sort it out Pro Breeze.
The air conditioning unit itself is great, it does make a noise but its a white noise that drowns out the sounds of the road etc nearby. Great for one room, probably 2 with the right set up.
My main gripe with it is the so-called window seal for normal windows that we all have. I cleaned the whole thing down and made sure it was a good surface, it stuck for maybe a day… that was it from then on, half of the thing just starts peeling away in the heat and then it won’t stick again. Realistically, the only way to fully utilise this kit is to fit it properly with a wall vent, or you’ve got a constant stream of air from outside coming back in.
As I said, it works… but I wouldn’t rely on the window seal kit. Probably loses 50% of it’s effectiveness with that, real shame.
Good Product So Far …
Bought as a Prime Deal just before the heatwave. Arrived promptly with clear operating instructions. Setting up exhaust hose to vent to fresh air through upvc side opening windows was a bit of a trial.
Operated efficiently on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK. Any decibel issues were drowned out by my need to ensure the well-being of me and my animals. This product undoubtedly saved lives in the short time that I’ve had it !
I use this in a huge room and it cools it down beautifully. I wasn’t expecting such a big difference. Not only does it do a great job of cooling the room, but also freshening the air. On a 33 degree day, I’ve got my room down to 21 degrees within a few hours.
It’s a little on the noisy side when set at high, which is really its only downside, but with how cool it makes you, you just won’t care about the noise.
As someone who suffers hugely with the heat, this has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a very long time.
It was hot in here now it’s not but & it’s a big but, It’s noisy. I know it’s a compromise against real air conditioning but I won’t be able to avoid having the real thing installed as I can’t work in home office all day with it even on low. It’ll be on ebay as soon as I can get an installer to put in the real thing. I’m warming to it,
( cooling actually ). It’s still a bit noisy but it sure does work which means I can.
Cooling seems about the same as in my car which is impressive, sadly its probably louder than my 500bhp car too. Most of this is the fan not the compressor, the compressor is a loud but low 50-100hz sort of bass note similar (but louder) to a noisy fridge. The fan is crazy. Most of the noise is white noise roar from the fan even on low its going harder than you would expect of high, whilst on high its so fast it seems to have been backed off a little from the point where its making the direction vanes oscillate. If it had about 5 more fan speeds in between ‘Low’ and as close to off as they could get then it would be fine.
Tip- sound proof the spare room or the one next to the one you want to cool and leave it in there. If you have a garden, put it in the middle of the garden and just open a window / patio door … the fan is fast enough no matter if you have a stately home sized garden.
Or, if you have a garage, leave your car running with the AC and fans on max, maybe wedge a brick on the accelerator too if you want to have the same noise level. Others claim to have 45-55 ish dB … 65dB mostly from the fans? Still, its better than not sleeping for a week due to the heat. Glad I have noise cancelling headphones.
Efficient but noisy.
The item was delivered on time and everything was included in the package. It does what it says but be warned, it is very noisy, even on the low fan speed. The only other quibbles are: 1) the android app. It’s very basic. 2) It states you can use Alexa to control the device, but as far as I have been able to determine, only to switch it on and off. If you ask Alexa to change the mode (cool/dry/fan only) or the target temperature she replies that it is not supported. Hopefully they will sort this out soon. The one star for Noise Level means that it is too high, by the way.
The portable air conditioners are plenty to cool a room, but certainly not much more. It has been fantastic during the recent heatwave, reducing the temperature from almost 30 degrees to around 24 in 2-3 hours.
This was with the doors closed and only windows for the exhaust of the hot air.
To me I ran the airconditioner several hours before going to bed, so that it could be switched off at that time. The fan speed is fast and seems to make very little difference switching to low. Also when the unit reached my temperature, it continued to make the same amount of noise and continued to cool, rather than cut off. Perhaps it was trying to maintain this, but I never noticed it switch off to be quieter even though it should switch to fan only mode.
Also instruction for how to apply the standard window opener would be very useful as it seem too large to fit my windows. The remote control gives easy access to the controls and has worked well. I never tried sleep mode as I know I would never sleep with the noise of the fans.
I was hoping that there would be a substantial noise difference between fan modes and also that the fan would slow down when the unit was at the required temperature, to maintain it whilst being quieter in operation.
