Our toilet became blocked but it was somewhere round the bend and I was unable to reach. I tried a plunger and various other tactics found on google but nothing worked. I came across this and thought I may as well give it a try before calling a plumber. So glad I did, as after a few thrusts of this in the toilet it all became clear. We now have a functional toilet again. I recommend.

Got this for a newer style toilet with the smaller hole/water reduction. It fitted well down the hole and plunged well. My problem turned out to be a blockage caused by roadworks in the street, so it didn’t unblock it, but I think it would’ve worked well had the problen been toilet paper. Just be careful with the metal pole as you are using it as it can leave a mark on the porcelain.

Did the job very well, easy to clean. I did find after considerable use cracks did appear where the head was being bent a lot. I also believe it was because I was standing it in a corner on its tip further causing it to bend. I ordered another and this time I hang it on a suction hook on the wall. Plus I will ensure I rotate between uses to ensure bending not always same way.
    All now seems good.

My toilet had been hard blocked for 5days, I’d tried a gallon of bleach, Mr Muscle, Domestos, spirits of salt, nothing worked and was just getting worse, then I see a video on youtube using this to clear a severely blocked toilet wow!! ordered one on Amazon Prime and within ten minutes of arriving my toilet was flushing normally again, just jam it down the hole n pump away dead simple!! Well done RECTUMS – Plunger, oops! I mean RECUTMS – Plunger!! 😉

Had tried other options but none worked. This worked quickly and was easy to use.

Would have been nice to have been supplied with a storage bag, but wasn’t expected.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the third one we have bought for multiple bathrooms and we not be without one.

Our previous house had terrible piping and the toilet would block regularly and the old fashioned toilet brush was of no use, this device is perfect and has helped out many times.

Simple and easy to use I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users4 days of trying several things including all caustic based expensive branded chemical liquids to unblock our toilet was a total failure. So was the drain cable. This item, despite poor Chinese English instructions was fully successful in 5 minutes of trying. I would recommend it for loo blockages.

    Great product
Tried various products to put down the loo, but nothing would budge the blockage.
This product was great. As others have said you need to push back and forth quickly but saved a call out to the plumber!
    Would recommend

I purchased this because of a blockage.. you have to be quite fit and heavy handed to make it work efficiently. Also be aware that you may think it has become stuck in the toilet but with a bit of wiggling it comes out. I managed to partially clear the problem and my son who is much stronger than me managed to complete the task. Good value.

This tool works and if I’m honest I was a bit skeptical. The flexible shape makes it so much easy to use. Soon as I used it the water started to go down. After 3 attempts and 2 flushes problem solved. Please buy it. It’s much cheaper than getting a plumbe

This item was well worth purchasing.
After my toilet being blocked for 4 days (WATER WAS CLEAN!) and using other endless products, I watched some online videos and saw this gadget.
Thought I’d try it and boy am I glad I did. My loo was flushing normally again instantly!
Firstly, I used a fizzing tablet (I’d already used 3) left it for a while and went in with this unblocking tool. Thrust it in a few times and the water disappeared!
Easy to clean for another time, and worth investing in if like me, you have a loo that’s reluctant to flush!
Worth investing in in my opinio

First of all it works but you have to use a bit of elbow grease, I almost gave up until I filled the pan with hot water and continue to plunge, then, gone.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI had tried a large plunger and hot soapy water several times but nothing worked and the water was up to the rim of the toilet. So I brought this as a last attempt before calling in a plumber. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as I pushed it into the toilet nothing seemed to happen, but wait, the water seemed to be lower in the toilet bowl, so I continued, it got a little easier until soon I was able to get the whole plastic nozzle head into the toilet outlet. In moments the toilet was clear, and I was also able to use trigger nozzle to wipe bleach around the toilet cleaning both toilet and nozzle at same time, followed by a flush, all done.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersInstructions probably written in Chinese then thrown into a software translater, jumbled up and then not checked. But, never the less the plunger worked. It’s not as long as i hoped so does not go far into U bend but the idea of trapping water between its fins and then pushing or ‘pumping’ thereby creating forward water pressure on the blockage did the trick for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Do not try to understand the instructions !!

THIS NEWLY DESIGNED TOILET ‘ROUND THE BEND’ PLUNGER LOOKED LIKE IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. SADLY THE FIRST RESULTS WERE NOT VERY IMPRESSIVE! BUT I WILL KEEP IT NEVERTHELESS, BECAUSE I AM INTRIGUED WITH ITS DESIGN & THE PLUNDER ACTION MAY WELL
    BECOME MORE EFFICIENT WITH USE?

Took a bit more effort than other reviews suggest but managed to clear a block chemicals and a plunger wouldn’t so clearly a decent bit of kit.

Don’t expect to plunge it once and everything be clear. You’ll likely get a sweat on plunging it repeatedly.

Missus got into a drunken stupor and accidentally flushed the rim block (bleach ball holder) was one of the big ones aswell… effluent and toilet paper would take 9ish hours after flushing to go down to normal water level. This bad boy managed to dislodge it after about 5 mins of poking. 🙂 only criticism is a slightly longer handle would be preferable as hands get close to toilet rim when giving the blockage a good rogering. Saved money on a plumber so a good investment as far as im concerned. is now in a bowl of boiling water and bleach to make it clean for if its needed agai

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersThis item worked and it was very quick and easy. I was worried when I read reviews about the shape of different toilets but it was perfect for mine. Attached is a photo of the shape of my toilet which you may find helpful. This was a severely blocked toilet, the water was high and there was a lot going on at the bottom. There was no mess, the stick was long enough to avoid getting my hand dirty. Once it was inserted, you can see the water started to go down, once pulled out and put back in everything was gone. I flushed the toilet to clean it and I used the flush of the toilet to clean the stick. Really didn’t want to have to wash it for it to be cleaned but the toilet literally done that for me. Great product for a modern toilet in London.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSadly live with a toilet that often gets clogged up (let’s not go further into that) and this is a lovely little gadget. Before I got it, I often ended up using a toilet brush with a standard length handle and that usually ends with me plunging my hand into the hideous water. (And spending the next hour scrubbing my hands). This has a good lengthed handle that keeps my hand well away from dirty water. The head has what looks like large a bottle stopper, which you push foreward and backwards in the waste pipe, until it pushes the obstructive through or brasks it up. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the head is a little flimsy, not that it is poorly made, but very rubbery, so it can be a little tricky to get enough force to clear the debris.
