Step 1 – Getting started
Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water and detangle with a comb or brush.
Select the HIGH setting (II) for thick or coarse hair and the LOW setting (I) for fine or thin hair.
Step 2 – Start drying and styling
Blow dry each section lifting the hair from the root wrapping the hair around the barrel. To prevent over-drying, do not concentrate the airflow on any one area for too long.
Step 3 – Get the desired look
Repeat for the remaining sections until desired look is achieved. To create long lasting volume and curls, pin each section to the hair.

Great value
Honestly for the price – worth getting. Managed a nice blowout on my naturally wavy thick hair. I still need to learn how to use it properly to do curls, but enjoying it so far.
Easy to use
This is amazing blow drying brush. Very easy to use and not heavy as with hairdryer in one hand and brushing the other. If you thinking about getting one, I would definitely recommend. The brush itself doesn’t detach from the dryer.

Brilliant hairdrye
The best hairdryer I’ve ever owned. I can actually style my hair now so I look like I’ve just come out of the hairdressers. I’ve never managed to style the back of my hair properly it was always too difficult but this is so easy to get the back of your hair looking great. I love it.

Over the years I have found a traditional hairdryer has frizzed my hair and made the ends brittle. This is perfect. My hair is a lot softer and it straightens as it dries. Cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Bought this after reviews. I have thick long bob and it was perfect for my hair, both towel dry and dry, it looks salon finished.
I have an injury to a shoulder and was able to style hair with one arm.
Amazing styling tool,it gives you salon blow dry bouncy curls in less than 15 minutes , but be aware that it’s made of metal and therefore it can get too hot and damage your hair really bad if you use it more than 2x per week. Always apply heat protector to your hair before using this tool .
I had my long hair cut in to a shoulder length bob recently and have always hated drying my hair with a brush and hairdryer.
This machine is absolutely brilliant and I cannot fault it. It takes all the hassle out of drying short hair and I actually use it on my little girls hair to dry as it’s less harsh than a normal hairdryer. I recommended it to my mum and she bought one and loves it equally as much. If the end look is too curled under then I just use my straighteners to flatten it out a little but you don’t actually need them for the sleek look as you already have that with this product. Nothing more to say than ‘excellent’ and I wouldn’t be without it now.

Must have
I have been meaning to try this for ages but kept hesitating . I have fine hair, medium length. Have been using for a few weeks now and prefer it to my normal hairdryer. I find it leaves my hair less frizzy/ and better styled in comparison to my usual rough blowdry. Would definitely recommend.
Only little downside would be the loudness, it is pretty loud. Size wise it is on the bigger/slightly heavier size but that is something I easily got used to.
Had high hopes
After researching I hoped this product would save me time, I have thick short hair and it does smooth more than a hair dryer would but takes much longer. I do then have to style with straighteners after too. I tend to use it when I’m doing a full style rather than a quick dry.

I bought this for my daughter and she knew exactly what she was getting with it. I, however, have had one similar in the past and I was surprised that this one does not rotate, the head it rigid. My daughter likes it but I think I preferred my last one that rotated and curled the hair better.

I love the fact that the heat didn’t break my hair, at first I was skeptical due to my hair texture (Afro-relaxed) but It didn’t! I love this product so much! And this is just after washing! No hair relaxe
Really impressed with this dryer brush. It’s quite big but the handle is well shaped so it’s easy to use. I have nearly shoulder length hair and it works great. (I’m not sure how it would be for short hair, the brush is quite big) Gets my hair nice and smooth. Heat settings are good, slow/hot, fast/hot and fast/cool.

I have very thick long curly hair , could never get the hang of blow drying with a round brush so thought I’d try this, it’s amazing! Hair should be nearly dry when using and I use the hottest setting as my hair is thick , it really is easy to use and leaves my hair soft and smooth
Does a good job
I have a long bob so ideal length for this brush which does a good job with both shaping and smoothing. It does look like a salon blow-dry. But on the higher setting it definitely is very loud, like a vacuum cleaner right next to your ear, though I suppose for this price range the quality is exactly as expected and I can’t really fault it.
I myself am not terribly bothered, but if you’re someone who has any kind of hearing sensitivities, I recommend looking for another model.
Amazing Hair Styler Steep Learning Curve
Really loved the titanium in this brush as it distributed the heat very well. All in all the brush is great but is not as simple to use as I thought it would be. Easy to dry the hair straight but curling it is a whole other story. I have very thick hair maybe that’s the problem but I broke the hair into small sections and used blow dry cream so I’m not sure what more I could do. Takes a lot of practice but with skill this is definitely a must by for wet to dry styling
I bought this one four years after i bought my orignal revlon. I think this blow drying brush is the best on its market. It came packaged really well. It is very durable , and the bristles are strong. My hair is typically very frizzy, but the brush makes it smooth and soft. As i have short hair, i can also use the brush to make the ends flick out a bit, which is a nice style. After using the brush after my hair is about 70% dry, it keeps the style until my next wash day, which helps my hair as I don’t have to use heat much at all. I feel like using the brush reduces my heat usage, which makes my hair healthier. It also makes curtain bangs look nice. I think you have to learn how to use it properly, and then it’ll help you lots. One downside is that it is very noisy when you use it. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a new design or something. My original brush is loud, but not that loud. It is quite noisy which is a bit bad, but overall it’s a really good product, and i definitely recommend it. It also takes way less time to use it, which is good if you’re running late or something. I strongly recommend it for people who have frizzy hair, as it helps it a lot.
It’s a little bigger than I realised, but it works amazingly!
With my hair, it didn’t matter if I messed up a section of hair because I could just go back over it to get it the way I wanted/liked.
You can also straighten your hair with this product if you’d like!

Would definitely recommend, I’m not great at doing my hair as it’s naturally wavy mid length. At first attempt using this brush it took me from wet hair (not soaking) to a bouncy blow in 20 mins. Very happy
The brush is too big for short hair ( I have a short bob) although it says suitable for medium/ short hair. If the brush was a size smaller I would have given it 5 * but sadly I had to return it.
I have thick curly / wavy hair nearly down to my bottom. I have never and I mean never been able to manage it. If I have it down and curly it has to be rewashed that night else it’s just a knotty mess in morning. To hair dry and straighten my hair it takes me about 2 and half hours. I don’t have the time so it just mainy stays up.
I have been looking a for something like this for a while and I have tied nearly them all! Trust me! This is a wonder machine not to hot on hair easy to handle and I don’t even need to use the straighters after is I don’t want to . Absolutely brilliant value for money! Don’t hesitate I swear by this!
Easy to use
I like it more than a normal hair dryer because it drys and styles your hair. You can also control heat and it also rotates while using it. And i can use it with one hand. Totally worth of money
I love this product, easy to hold, use, arrived very quickly, and did make my hair look nice and healthy with a bounce.
However Im giving it to my daughter inlaw as the barrel is huge, in the description it said for short to medium hair, no way can u use this if you have short hair, which is a shame.. Ive bought a smaller one

I have thin, fine hair and this has been a game changer. It gives me so much volume and it lasts. I would recommend using sparingly though / for special occassions, as I did go a little OTT when I first bought it and noticed a fair bit of breakage.

I am terrible at styling hair and mine is fine and flyaway and I can never make it to look like the hairdresser can, even with straighteners. This machine is amazing, for the first time ever my hair looks smooth and professionally styled, I am so happy. Cuts down on time in the morning, causes less damage to my hair and I (for the first time) look like my hair is styled and well managed – wish I had purchased this years ago. Quick and easy to use
I have a jaw and one length bob, with very straight hair. This product allows me to get a bit of volume and swing in without taking oodles of time. If I’m honest, I can get more volume and curl under with a brush and regular hairdryer, but this is time consuming.
This product allows me to get a good result in a reasonable amount of time.
The only negatives for me, is with my length of hair it’s hard to get the hair tucked under with the size and shape of the barrel.
Secondly, I tried to style from quite damp and that took ages. I had hoped to replace a hairdryer completely and that’s not working for me.
So for speed, which is primarily what I bought this for, I dry first to about 70- 90% depending the on time I want/have to spend.
I prefer this to the Babyliss big hair product, because the volume seems to stay better and I’m less likely to catch and knot my hair. This product is a lot more user friendly.
Soooooo much better than Dyso
Spent nearly 500 on dyson multi styler which I sent back. No great shakes!!! This is sooo much better. I have such fine hair and when I used it first I was blown away (pardon the pun!!). My sister said I looked like I’d just come from the hairdresser. Just buy it. It won’t break the bank and your hair will look fab!!

I love this hair dryer! I had frizzy curly/wavy hair and lots of it so take forever to dry. This has taken my routine of blow drying then straightening/curling my hair which took about an hour, down to a 10 min process! After washing I let my hair air dry for a while and then use the brush to dry which leaves it really smooth and styled.

I love this. Easy to use but best to towel dry first as it takes ages otherwise. Def leaves my hair smooth and shiny. My only qualm is the heat.. it has too speeds but only one temperature which is blooming hot. Deducted one star for lack of a cooler setting. That said I’d still recommend. It especially for the price.
Bought to use after a shoulder operation. Was great to be able to style my hair using just one (left) hand (I’m usually right handed). Would have given 5stars if the handle had a non slip grip…I found it a bit slippy to hold but otherwise really good.

The brush barrow is perfect for mid Bob length hair but not sure for very short hair. But this does the job. Also great for using overseas with dual use plug.

Better than I expected
I never write reviews – but thought I would for this as it really has exceeded my expectations. I bought this on prime day – not expecting much – but it really is easy to use, leaves my hair smooth and it’s super quick to dry!
This was a spontaneous purchase as I was looking for a new hairdryer to replace my old one. I always wanted to be able to dry my hair like a hairdresser – they always make my hair look so smooth and shiny, and I cannot fully replicate that at home. This brush does that!
I have medium length bob haircut, and the version for short and medium hair is just right: even if the brush may seem big, the oval shape somehow makes it perfect. It takes only slightly longer to dry the hair that with a normal hairdryer (from wet, towel-dried hair to dry in maybe 15 minutes) but it is very easy without the need to use both hands. Separating hair into a few layers and drying one strand at a time helps, too.
My hair looks smooth, healthy and shiny, just like from the salon, and I am blown away (pun intended) by the results and by how easy it is to use.
I can’t believe how wonderful this is , I would dread washing my hair , because I found drying with a brush in a mirror a real challenge , even at 60 . I have fibromyalgia and I hold this with two hands and get great volume and sleek hair . I don’t hold one end with 2 hands I hold the end piece between my fingers to help guide and take some weight off .

My hair is very thick and curly, and previously, when I tried to blow dry it, the brush would get caught in it or it would take too many rounds to get my hair straight or it wouldn’t stay straight or I would have to blow it out first.
Not this one!
It can be used both on wet and dry hair (to freshen up) and the brush just glides through the hair, you can hold it with the other hand and it leaves the hair straight, smooth and shiny.

Wow I love this. So easy to use, stops frizz and dries the hair pretty quickly. Don’t need straighteners afterwards. I used Tresemme Heat Protect with it. I love it. I’ve been using the Babyliss big hair for ages but this is loads better. Had to use Big Hair in conjunction with hair straighteners. Now can take just one item on weekends away / for travel. You don’t need a hairdryer first either. So impressed. First time I have ever written a review!
I’m an older woman and have suffered with unruly curly hair all my life. I’ve tried all sorts of hair cuts, long, mid length, short, blow drying, leaving curly. Last few years I’ve just done messy (not intentionally) ‘up’ dos. But now, with this excellent product, I have bouncy smooth curls, or straight hair with volume, I honestly can say, I LOVE styling my hair now.
No tangles. Style lasts days. Smooth hair (I use low setting as I’ve dyed my hair for years). As per instructions, I towel dry my hair, start at roots to give lift, continue to end of hair with brush under the hair, to finish, use brush on top of ends for a bouncy curl. Small downside is weight of product. Wish I’d bought this years ago
I hate drying my hair, so this is a godsend. I love how easy it is to use & how quickly you can dry your hair. I only have one issue, which may just come down to the type of hair I have, but after about 10 mins my hair starts to go frizzy. So I always have to use my straightener afterwards.

I give my roots a quick blast with a normal hairdryer then I normally clip my hair up & bring small sections down at a time.. a couple of times when I’m in a rush I’ve not bothered sectioning & it’s come out just as good..

I have thick curly hair which is mid length to long dryer is perfect and holds for days. The only problem I would say it’s a little bit heavy and if you have shorter hair I would use the thinner one which is also amazing as I have it for over a year and used it every day amazing product deafly worth your money compared to Dyson can leave your hair with a little bit of flyaways oil, sort it out straight away
Purchased to take on a trip to Greece from USA
I purchased this for my upcoming trip from the USA to Greece. I wanted to be prepared without the worry of adapters etc. The ladies know we can not take risks with our hair! The one I use in the USA works great to straighten my naturally curly hair!
Best brush dryer that I have tried
A few years ago my stylist recommended a powered brush styler. It turned out not to be so very good. However, this one, as a real dryer and styler, is terrific. I chose the smaller brush option as my hair is a little below jaw length. It not only dries well and quickly, but leaves my hair smooth, shiny and perfectly styled. I really couldn’t be happier and find it hard to believe that one of the more expensive models could do a better job. My Dyson hair dryer and my selection of brushes are now in the cupboard. Just remember to section your hair to dry it in a professional manner. Job done.

Only used one so far but brilliant I am going to get one for my nieces birthday next month.
Left my hair smooth and shiny, straight and stayed straight without using any products. Unable to register guarantee on line has been my only issue so I hope it last a long time.
Purchased this for my twin and she loves it! She’s been raving about it ever since I got her it for her birthday. But I would advise giving your hair a break in between uses to limit hair damage (this is just what I’ve heard from my friends). But I guess it’s no different than if you use a blow dryer and round brush repeatedly or any heat styling tool.
Thought the brush would have been smalle
I would have preferred the brush to be smaller just so I could create bouncy curls. Instead it works very well at adding volume, smoothing and making my hair shiny. Happy with produc
I am about to buy my third Revlon volumising dryer. The product is great and is the only way I have ever managed to get a salon quality look every time I use it. However, I have found the dryers only last a year. I am about to buy my third and am looking for another product as good that lasts much longer. Throwing away a big hunk of plastic every year makes me feel very uncomfortable because there is no need for it, and the manufacturer must do better.
I had to replace my old Remington Amaze styling brush, which had violently died with a big pop. So I researched all the different styling brushes and decided to give the best seller Revlon range a go, even though they’re 800 watts and I would normally want a 1000watts to cope with my thick hair that takes an age to dry. I started using styling brushes about 20 years ago and have had lots of different makes, but wow this latest evolution of designs is amazing. I decided on the Volumiser Plus because it has a detachable slightly smaller brush head than the others in the range. You can semi dry your hair with the wand and then finish and style with the brush attached. It’s the best thing ever. Dried my thick, frizz prone, shoulder length hair in half the time, my hair was so smooth and shiny, Best home blow dry ever. I cant recommend it enough

I already have bought this product twice before. I love it so much I have one in each of my homes, and now bought this one for my mother. I have shoulder length hair and I can dry and style my hair with this product within 5 minutes. Some thing to be careful with is if you have it on the ‘high’ setting it gets very hot – children or older people could get burned if they touch the wrong part.
Hair needs to be damp for this to be used as it generates hot air and it isn’t the metal itself that is heated.
It’s fairy heavy and slightly difficult to hold for extended lengths of time. I have very thick and long hair and it takes about an hour for me to section and style each one.
HOWEVER
I sleep with a bathrobe sash tied around my head and wake up with the most luscious hair, beautifully curled at the ends.
I would recommend using a heat protectant and a serum if your hair is prone to frizz.
what a great invention for people like me who never mastered a Brazilian blowdry at home.
This is a fantastic product that saves time and give great outcome. i use to have its original version which can not separate body and comb. This version 2 is a great improvement for travel and for cleaning. It just made a lot more sense.
I got this blow dryer in July 2022. I had been using it every other day since then. At about the third or fourth months, the red massage balls on each plastic bristles started falling down, every time I use it. At today the 7th month, the bristles at two narrower sides have almost all fallen down that it hurts the scalp when using. I had to get another one now. I never had the same problem with the orignal version 1 model.
It got me thinking the fact that the blower body and comb can separate is a good opportunity for the manufacturer to think about selling the comb replacement alone as spare part! We can save a lot of waste by having parts to replace. Or simply improve the quality so the bristles can last longer.
I didn’t know what to expect from this after reading the mixed reviews but after recently cutting myself a fringe, I knew I needed to style it more. I didn’t want to keep using straighteners though so thought I’d try this.
There are mixed views on whether or not it is heavy. I don’t think it’s any heavier than an ordinary dryer but as you move the brush part on wet hair there is some resistance so it may feel heavier when you start drying. I have arthritic fingers and still found it easy to use. I did make my arms ache sometimes so I dry it in 2 stages if I have time. That’s only because I’m holding it in place above my head to get some ‘bounce’ on the top which it certainly does!! My very fine hair feels much thicker and fuller, and being able to curl it under at the ends, it has added style which normal hairdryers don’t. My hair has never knotted using this – a problem I previously had every day.
I can’t comment on the shine as my hair is quite shiny anyway but it does leave it shiny. Less broken ends too.
One thing it’s missing (and I really miss it) is a hook to hang it up.
Overall, I’m really glad I bought it, and wouldn’t go back to a normal dryer now.
As a HUGE added bonus, I cut a hole in the box and gave it to my ball python snake. If you have one of these, you will know they are notoriously picky eaters. After a 5 month hunger strike, he spent a few days in this box which must have made him feel incredibly secure as he’s since eaten 4 meals instantly. The purchase was worth it for this alone.
I purchased this item after reading reviews over it and I must say it’s a decent buy but don’t expect anything amazing. It’s an affordable hair dryer that also blow drys your hair and I’m loving it but it’s definitely no dyson dryer.
Positives:
Cheap, really easy to use, decent size, not heavy, does a good blow dry but I prefer a more defined wave and curl which I can only achieve with my hairdryer and brush.
Negatives:
The bristles are already all bent and that’s after 8 or so uses (had the time for less than a month), it’s pretty noisy, it doesn’t work my baby hairs at the front and on the sides, need to go in with a straightener or blow dry with a smaller barrelled brush.
It’s a decent purchase and I will definitely recommend it but it could do with a few little tweaks.
Years of killing my hair with a blow dry and straighteners, taking half hour or more from wet and a number of different barrel brushes etc, hairdresser recommended hot brush as kinder on hair. This is a welcome alternative, works so well and gives more volume and bounce than I ever achieved with a dryer and multiple barrel brushes. I blast dry my hair first, or let it dry naturally, till it’s 80% dry, then section my hair into 2 and use this from root to tip, trying to keep it to 2 or 3 passes. If I want a sleeker look I’ll run the straighteners through it just to polish it off at end but now put the temp at 160 instead of the usual 200+ Degrees as my hair is pretty straight after using this. My hair is softer, in much better condition and much less frazzled than relying on a dryer and GHDs to style. Also grown a lot quicker than it has before and the hairdresser said it’s 100% healthier than 6 months ago.
It’s quite a big barrel so short or crop hair would probably be best with the smaller version and it can get quite hot but there’s a little notch for other hand to hold and steady it.
As someone with Fibromyalgia, I had pretty much given up on trying to blow dry my hair. The combined weight of a hairdryer in one hand and the styling brush in the other was too much for me to manage and I usually had to give up after completing a quarter of my hair.
I was initially unsure whether to order the One Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser based on a couple of the negative reviews. However, I could not be happier that I took the plunge and ordered it.
I find it easy to hold, and the fact that you can support the other end to distribute the weight makes it very manageable. It can be a bit too hot on the highest setting when close to the neck, but the lower heat setting is fine.
I would be pleased to recommend this to people with chronic health conditions, although I do recognise, of course, that we all have different experiences.
Firstly I want to state that this is a genuine review-I’m getting annoyed with bogus reviews on Amazon, but that is a story for another day. I bought this for myself after my 20 year old hairdryer finally gave up. I cannot quite believe how good this is. I have very thick, curly when wet, frizzy when dry hair. I have always relied on straighteners to get rid of the frizz. But last year I visited my sister in NYC and went to a blow dry bar. What a revelation! My hair looked so amazing, straight but with so much body, and it lasted for days. Trying to replicate this back at home was a tangled disaster. I could just about manage the front of my hair but the back and sides were hopeless. Holding the dryer, the round brush and keeping the tension is virtually impossible to do for someone as ham fisted as me. So it was back to the straighteners which are okay but once you have a really good blow-out straighteners are a bit of a disappointment. So I wasn’t expecting much from this product – but I am amazed. I sectioned my hair as instructed and away I went. It took about 10-15 minuets and my hair looks amazing (and even my husband agrees)! I could keep the tension and my hair didn’t get tangled up once. I look like I just stepped out of Dry Bar. This is the best beauty purchase I have made in ages! The only thing missing was the glass of champagne and the chick flick.
