It is running my kitchen light strip, and works fine. Easy to install and lightweight, so good to fix on the wall with 2 screws. The connection block for the LEDs is a bit wobbly but no problems so fa

If you have spare LED light tape from other kits and want to use them, these drivers are great. This one is fairly small and neat to fit in a corner or behind a false cupboard back. It has screw down cable clamps for mains input and low voltage output. The screw terminals inside work well but do tend to twist a bit on the circuit board when tightening, so I wouldn’t use if planning repeated reconnection many times. It only has a single 24v output and many led strips have three or four connectors. The one I was connecting to had four connectors: 2 x 24v positive and CW and WW connections for a tuneable white strip. (Typically the strip connectors will have some labelling). Using some 10mm 4 way led strip connectors (for the tape I had) also from Amazon just connected both CW and WW to 0v to give “daylight” white. (You could just connect either WW (for warm white) or CW (for Cool White). The two 24v connectors both wired to +24v on the driver. As always check you have the right voltage for your led strip and enough power for the length of strip driven.

all okay apart from the connecting the mains input wires, the connections are lower than the cable grip making really fiddly to get the short wire in with the outer insulation still on.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works but fiddly to connect up.

Stars for functionality and price, -1 for difficulty in connecting.

Under the input and output covers the wire insertion points do not line up the with the aperture in the plastic, and the hole height (for copper insertion) is not as large as I would have liked

If, for example, the cables already have crimped ends it is very, very difficult to insert them; it would not be easy even if they were not crimped. What could have been a simple task became hard and frustrating.

If you have skill and patience it can be done, and the item is then a cheap and functional item; otherwise you may have wasted your money.
