    Works perfectly
Small size was great for an LED strip mounted inside a cupboard. Runs cool and silent. Would have been 5 stars but the terminals are very fiddly for 1mm T&E cabling due to location.

    Good compact power supply
I purchased this to run some led strips, and it does the job well
Its compact and easy to fit, although some consideration must be taken to the cable used
You need to use 0.75mm 2 core flat flex to fit into the mains terminals as they are so tight, and it is not permitted to have single insulated cables exposed unless the whole driver is secured in a proper electrical enclosure, as per the wiring regulations.
Using the small flex you are able to fit the outer insulation within the screwed terminal which means you can mount this as it is without any risk of shock.
The driver is double insulated so no earth is required.
The outgoing 12v supply can be connected to single core cable if required as there is no shock risk at that voltage.
It would be ideal for Extra Low Voltage down-lights or led strips as is compact enough to fit through a mounting hole.
Overall good bit of kit, time will tell how long it lasts

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWorks fine bu
This transformer works fine. The only issue I have with it, in common with most manufacturers of these type of products, is that the terminal size for the incoming mains connection is woefully small necessitating the installation of a short lead with a 0.75 mm conductor to interface between mains connection and the transforme

    Flicker free LED`s
Replaced low volage halogen lamps with LED and had lots of flicker. Changed the transformers to these and now flicker free – do agree with some other posts that the in and out terminals work best if the wires have solid ends to push in.

Does the job, good value, but fiddly cable connectio
Used the 15W and 30W versions of this to replace fluorescent under-cupboard lights in the kitchen. Seemed good value and does the job, barely gets warm and only a very slight buzz/whine – inaudible in any normal conditions.

Only complaint is the screw terminals are set down below the cable entry which makes inserting cables quite difficult. They seem to be designed for stranded, but stranded cable mushes up rather than pushing into the terminal. I ended up crimping on bootlace ferules, then trimming and bending slightly.
