I have a 3M compatible full face mask, but that can be a bit too much sometimes. All I really wanted was a cheapish breathing mask that took the same filters, which this does. The added bonus is that it came with a pair of goggles at the same price.

Only really use it for woodwork so no idea about fumes but was able to wear it for a couple of hours with sawdust flying at me off the saw and felt great. Straps are in a good spot so if I tie my hair up it easily goes between them and isn’t an issue.

I got this mask because I’d started doing a lot of DIY spray painting, it’s a much cheaper version of the 3M mask which I was going to buy but this was a great alternative, the only think that’s happened is one of the clips has snapped so I have just tied the elastic strap to hold it in place, I do have a rather big head, but that’s the only reason why I have marked it down a sta

It’s good that someone has actually made a product that has both the breathing and eye protection available individually, but fitting together nicely. I had prfevciously used a GVS masxk and other gogles I got from Screwfix, but they did not fit together well. The breathing mask also has a brilliant system for securing it. You simply clip around the nack and then lift the strap and harness on top of your head.

Does exactly what they are meant to do. Very satisfied with product. Easy to use. Arrived exactly has outlined. Very good all round customer service continuing updates and notification from moment of purchase to delivery of item. Will purchase again as required. Thank you

I bought because I cut plastic using a band saw, so unable to comment on its effectiveness when used in more dangerous/harmful conditions, however it’s comfy, easy to breathe in, and for the pretty benign job I’m using it for the supplied filters should last me forever, if I ever bother to change them at all.
Pleased with my purchase and my kids enjoyed putting it on and looking like a storm trooper.

The problem with spectacle wearers with face masks is steaming up. These fit snugly over the nasal bridge and my specs don’t fog up.
A minimal problem is the condensation inside the mask; I suppose the exhaled water vapour has to go somewhere. The appliance needs drying and cleaning regularly. Another good feature is that the goggles fit over my glasses.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have tried other mask, but because I wear glasses I’ve yet to find any that are comfortable, or that can keep out the dust, that was until I got these. Have to admit that I did have a problem with my usual glasses as they didn’t fit inside the goggles because of the frames, so I changed them for my other pair with smaller frames, and that worked.
Been using mask and goggles for spray painting. Keeps the paint fumes out, and Breathing was okay. Glasses didn’t mist up or anything, so yes I’m pretty pleased so far.
If you wear glasses with large frames I would say due to the goggles that come with the mask, I would not recommend, BUT if you have smaller frames then yes I would recommend, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Used it whilst insulting a loft space, good filtration and comfortable to wear. Goggles were not quite bid enough to cover my glasses, so didn’t use but that’s down to my glasses

Despite several attempts, I couldn’t get a complete seal without using the enclosed safety glasses. Without the goggles, it’s always under my right eye that I can feel air escaping when doing the check before using. First use today so getting use to the Darth Vader sound breathing. No paint stripper vapours detected so seems ok so far.

We used this for painting the floor, the paint was so strong that the first time we did it without a mask and within the first few minutes it caused us headaches, needed something that would prevent and this mask worked, thankfully finished the whole floor without any problems but to advise still have good ventilation when painting with strong paints!

Kept me dust free and comfortable while grinding back and then electric sanding a fibreglass boat hull. The filters caught all the particulate and the goggles kept my eyes clear even when I was basically in a cloud of fine dust. Excellent product.

Facing the prospect of paint spraying a load of ceilings, the first purchase was a bag of coveralls and the next was the RSM mask. I have no mask experience to compare, but I have to say I was impressed. I was able to work in a room that was effectively a paint cloud for a couple of hours without any filter clogging. The mask is comfy, with an overhead and behind neck strap. Filters are simple to replace and breathing isn’t laboured at all. I’ve also used it during wall sanding and the filtration is excellent. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis facemask seems to do a great job, and I feel really confident that I’m not breathing in dust particles. And the seal is so good that the goggles don’t steam up from any escaping breath.

I agree with the other reviews saying that the straps and their connections are really weak. The manufacturers/suppliers seem to realise this and accept it, because spare plastic strap connections were included in the pack! Having said that, once I do manage to wrestle the thing onto my head without straps pinging open, the face seal is excellent on my face, and it does a great job. I use mine when I’m sanding wood, and at the end of a sanding session I am usually covered in wood dust, and so it’s an extremely unhealthy environment to breathe in. Until now I’ve just been using a standard dust mask, but because I’ve been doing more and more sanding I thought I would try a ‘proper’ facemask instead.

Apart from the feeble straps, the other downsides are that the instructions for assembly are very poor (but it doesn’t really matter because it’s fairly obvious what goes where), and that when I use the mask for more than a few minutes it gets lots of condensation on the inside of the mouth/nosepiece.

On the whole though, I’m really pleased I bought it as a first experience of this type of mask. I probably wouldn’t buy this same model again because I’ll go for a more robust and more expensive one next time, but this one does exactly what I need it to do at the moment. If you are in the same position as I was and urgently need to upgrade from a normal dust mask (or your current one has just broken) then I would recommend this one, but if you’re replacing a working mask or you’ve got time to shop around then maybe invest a bit more money and go for a sturdier model.

I needed protection when sanding wood. It did the job. The instructions only cover assembling the unit. If you are new to using a respirator there are no instructions on using and fitting the device. After watching YouTube instructional videos for other respirators it was clear that for this respirator the adjustment straps are not as easy to adjust when you are wearing the respirator. The goggles supplied were great and there was no fogging.

Great value for money and comes with everything you need. My son is using it for gluing and painting model ships so it was great to get everything in one box.
