It’s one of the lightest branded irons. Even so, the steam output is more than adequate. The stainless steel surface is better than ceramic since you can safely scour (clean) it unlike the ceramics.

Got this for my son and his girlfriend as he is looking to buy a property next year so I’ve got them lots of useful things ready, nice looking iron and lightweight to which is always a bonus!

Took a few goes to get the steam setting to my needs ut then good. Reservoir very easy to fill, no air bubble problems as with old iron. Decent value for money.

Very good price for a good quality iron. Main reason why I bought it was iron’s stainless steal plate. I was tired of my old iron’s “non-stick” plate getting sticky and not being able to clean it. I also did not want to breath chemical fumes any longer while ironing.
I am very happy with my purchase that I have been using now for months.

Not much to say about an iron, really. My old one was a Tefal and about 20 years old. This one is a bit smaller and lighter but with enough weight for ironing. The temperature control moves easily but I haven’t knocked it off the intended setting, so ergonomics are okay.
The iron has an adjustable steam setting, too so if getting too much or little you can change it, which is handy.
The base is just polished steel and doesn’t stick to anything, so glides nicely, even over transfers provided the temperature isn’t too high.
    Cable length is fine.
Never thought I’d have this much to say about an iron!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersHave used large steam irons for the last few years but, when my iron broke, and as I have much less ironing now I decided to give this very reasonably priced iron a try. I am not disappointed. It was a great price in the sale and does a great job. Having read the reviews suggesting that the lead was not long enough I use an extension and this solves any potential problem. It is a small light iron which suits my needs. I would definitely recommend this iron.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFairly lightweight iron that does all the usual things you’d expect from an iron. Decent sized water chamber that holds a good amount. The spray works well. Slightly smaller plate than our last iron, but performance on the clothes is still very good and for the price, I would definitely recommend this one.

Wanted a budget ironafter all it’s only ironing! Great iron, no fuss on the setting etc and the opening for the water tank is bigger than irons gone before but if you over fill even a little bit and stand the iron up water comes out from under coverotherwise it’s all good

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI can’t claim to be an ironing expert so I bought this one because it was cheap to replace an iron that had lasted for 30 years. It worked straight out of the box (no assembly required) so I guess it would be what people call “plug and play”. Have used it a few times on a variety of clothing and have no complaints at all. It glides smoothly over the clothes and removes the creases. For those more adventurous than myself there is a dial with a range of temperature settings and a reservoir for water that you can squirt over more stubborn creases. It comes with a small “jug” to conveniently refill the reservoir. Very satisfied with this purchase.

My wife is a bit picky when it comes to ironing and irons. She was really thrilled to find this model still available after her last Iron died of old age which is the same model.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat iron at a great price! At 25 you cant really go wrong especially when this same iron is retailing at 50 on the high street.
When unboxing don’t be alarmed if you see water droplets within the iron and think it’s already been used. This is just left from the product testing and a sticker should be within the box saying this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy!

Did a google search for the top ten steam irons, UK. This was on the list, mid point I seem to remember. I wasn’t disappointed. Nice and light and great steam. Stainless steel iron sole so glides over the ironing, and sooo light.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPrevious reviews say lead is short it’s not. It’s very light easy to use. Doesn’t get as hot as my last one but it’s a good price ideal for occasional ironing.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersIt does the job it’s supposed to do, and has the handy little spritzer nozzle so if you have a particularly evil little crease that refuses to move, you can dampen it a little and take it out without tempting yourself to burn it by over-ironing.

The only reason it isn’t a default of 5 stars is because I do find the cord a bit annoying sometimes, because it’s a resistant long-life housing type, which means it likes to try kink itself back to how it was wound up in the box. It has plenty of grip space but maybe it’s just me ironing grumpily as I rush to get to work every morning, but the fact it connects from the top of the handle (albeit right at the back) made me grumble a little more. The steam button works mostly as intended, however it will occasionally only make a quiet sound like it is thinking about giving a bit of steam… but then just doesn’t, and has to be given 30 seconds before trying again. A little annoying but FAR from a dealbreaker, given I’ve had irons before that had auto-steamer modes that liked to turn themselves on and then just constantly belched it out.

Still. Does the job, was incredibly cheap on sale, and my gripes are minor ones. It’s never let me down in my morning rush yet!
