Ottima scarpa
la mia prima scarpa da trail running. Le impressioni dopo il primo utilizzo sono ottime. Le prime cose che mi vengono in mente sono impermeabilit e trazione. Ottime su terreno morbido, fangoso e sterrato in generale. La roccia liscia bagnata non il suo terreno, bisogna fare attenzione.
The Solomon trail shoes are EXCELLENT! I primarily run on trails in the Mojave desert and the shoes performed flawlessly. The only minor problem I had was the shoes are narrow causing a tight fit around my feet; however, after my 2nd run in the desert, the shoes loosened up considerably. If you don't have narrow feet, I highly recommend you purchase the wider size.

Si, non costano poco. Ma quando te le metti, le altre scarpe non le vuoi pi mettere. Le uso per tutto, camminate, bici ma anche per uscire perch sono bellissime.

Wollte schon immer einen Salomon Schuhe haben! Da wir aber keinen Schubladen innerhalb Nhe haben um berhaupt mal die richtige Gre herauszufinden, habenich meine Fe auf einem Blatt Papier umgerissen und die lngst strecke heraus gemessen. Dann in der Tabelle geschaut welche Gre das ist!
Die Lieferung ging malbwieder sehr schnell. Nicht anders zu erwarten mit prime. Der Schuh passte auf Anhieb, habe noch ca 5mm Platz bis die Zehen den Schuh berhren wrden.
Ich habe mich fr dieses Model entschieden da ich viel mit sem Hund wandern gehe auf nicht asphaltierten wegen. Das heist Wald und Wiesen. Da luft der Schuh durch sein Profil einfach super, auch bei Schnee gibt er einem sehr guten Halt. Auf asphaltierten Wegen oder inder Stadt zum shopen wrde ich ihn nicht empfehlen da man sich das Profil dann schnell abschmirgelt…

Eine Nummer grer bestellt und er passt wirklich perfekt. Bin sehr zufrieden und habe den idealen Schuh fr Trailrunning gefunden. Sehr guter Gripp egal auf welchem Untergrund, genug Dmpfung und super Laufgefhl.

Der Schuh lsst sich wunderbar tragen, keine Druckstellen keine Blasen nach langen tragen. Das Design gefllt mir persnlich sehr gut. Mal sehen ob dieser Schuh mich wieder ein Jahr lang bekleidet.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the design, but the dependability and durability always trumps looks. With it being breathable and waterproof, they are by far my favorite shoes. Highly recommend.
Quality always shines through
Salowmon speedcross 5 gtx, A snugg fit with support in all the wright places. I normaly wear a 8.5 in a shoe got a 9 and it fits like a glove. Amazon sent the none gtx version so contacted Amazon customer support and the issue was sorted no problem. Got the gtx the nexy day and all is good. My go to shoe from this day on .

I knew the Saloman womans brand was too narrow and the mens ran small. Bang on as expected. 10.5 US 44.5 EUR. Only the black was on sale. It looked a bit harsh from pics but in person it has alot of personality. Beautifully designed and comfortable. Very presentable: can take her to nice restaurant with them on.

Der Schuh sieht im ersten Moment etwas schmal aus aber passt aber wie angegossen. Ich trage die Schuhe bei vielen Aktivitten MTB fahren wandern und auch mal so in der Freizeit. Salomon schafft es einfach immer wieder Schuhe die Wasserdicht und doch Atmungsaktiv sind mit einen sportlichen Design auf den Markt zu bringen. Ich kann sie nur Empfehlen!
I now own three pairs of this shoe and had one other pair that I wore for 6 years and it finally started having a hole in the front. These shoes flat out are awesome you can wear them running or work in them all day. The sizing is very good and consistent amongst all of the shoes I’ve purchased. Will buy again!

I love these shoes for hiking. Needed a new pair and gave these a shot. I am not disappointed! I have great grip on the inclines and declines. It's a light but well built shoe. I'm typically a bargain hunter but wanted good quality since I live in Alaska. I would strongly recommend them.

Still a very good Goretex outdoor shoe
This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Salomon Speedcross GTX shoes and still like them for my general outdoor use.
Overall, these fit as I expected for my size, though a tiny bit on the tighter side.
They tend to be stiff, just an FYI, and a little heavy.
Not a great running shoe (weight/stiffness) but very good for hiking, etc.
Gore-text performance is very good. No leaks.
Love the kevlar lacing system (one of the top reasons to buy this shoe)
Sole performance is TERRIBLE on slick/icy surfaces

You get what you pay for .
Bought Salomon shoes on many occasions and can be difficult to source due to popularity re sizing…..The only issue is the sizing would appear to have changed so definitely go up one size from your normal UK size and not quite sure why this has happened. On the plus side these shoes are easy on the eye ( lots of comments from people) hard wearing and multi-purpose shoes. Have worn almost every day for 14 months and only slightly down .
The 4 x 4 of trail running shoes.
Bought these as an upgrade from the Salomon Speedcross Vario 2, which I’ve stuck with for the last 3 to 4 years as there were always available cheap and did the job. Why the change, the outer mesh of the Vario 2 would always tear just back from the big toe on both shoes before they’d been fully used. Speedcross 5 has an improved outer mesh, which on close inspection appears to be tighter with less area to snag or tear. I have slim feet and these fit like the proverbial glove with no wayward movement no matter how demanding the terrain.
To be honest I was dubious of the quick-fit lacing system as I have always used the extra heel-lock holes when lacing the Vario 2, however these have been through plenty of suction inducing mud to prove they hold the foot well. Thus far these have dealt with mud, flint, chalk, leaf-mould, wet grass, shingle and tarmac with aplomb, providing excellent grip when required and good return from the energy cell.
In all money well spent for the joy of trail-running away from the madding crowd.

Le confort est plus spartiate qu’une chaussure running, mais il est trs correct (j’ai pas essay plus de 2h)
Trs bonne protection en terrain rocailleux , et adhrence super dans la gadoue, avec les pieds au sec !
sauf si vous passez dans une flaque profonde, mais c’est possible de faire attention a l’eviter en gnral.
En rsum : Adopte pour les sorties hivernales en terrain rocailleux tremp, et gadoue, sous la pluie … on est bien et on accroche de feu, mais attention, ce ne sont pas des pantoufles ! Le confort est correct . Pas plus.
La relance est bonne, je trouve. Mais je ne suis pas dans le registre performance.

I’ve used the trail running shoe on three occasions since I purchased them just over a week ago. The footpaths that I have run are fairly level (in terms of ascent and descent) but are normally wet, slippery and rutted at this time of year. First impressions are that these trail shoes provide a sturdy and surefooted feel. The trainer soles dig into the surface and provide a strong degree of certainty. Having used road shoes in the past, it takes a couple of miles to appreciate the confidence they provide.
The shoes are lightweight, comfortable and easy to put on / take off.
I normally take an 11 in shoe. I ordered an 11.5 in the trail shoe which is just about right.

I’ve had these for almost two months. Up here in Anchorage I’ve been running in snow for a month already. These shoes are great. I run 5 miles 3-4 times a week. They have proven to be waterproof so far. Excellent traction in the mud or snow. My feet are dry and they are very comfortable. First time using this type of laces and I like how easy there are to lace up. Just a little looser in the heel than I wanted but not bad. All in all they are well worth it. I never write reviews but had to for these

A Little Smaller Than Previous Salomon Trainers
I love the colours, and they’re super-grippy. They’re comfortable, if a little on the tight side for me (I have broad feet and usually order 9.5 Adidas or Salomon, but these 9.5 were just a bit small – still wearable, but I’ve bought a batch in size 10). That good grip will likely come at a price – sole tread wear!
Salomon are the only shoes I buy!
So I had this same shoe for the last couple years except they weren’t waterproof. I wore them virtually every day for 3 years. Hundreds and hundreds of miles hikingthe Utah desert. . But the tread is worn down so I got these in waterproof because I moved to Oregon.
I love them. We all have different feet but Salomon shoes and boots feel like those 5 year old broken in shoes that fit like a glove from day one.
Only one downside, not worth taking away a star but just want to be honest, I got these in the same size as my last pair and my Quest 4D boots but they are about a quarter size bigger. My guess is that they changed factories?
Anyway can’t go wrong with this brand. They are pricey but worth every penny!
Great trail shoes.
I am really impressed with these shoes so far. I run mostly on trails that can be sandy or muddy in spots. These really shed mud – I haven’t seen mud stick to them yet. Some users don’t like the quicklace system, but so far after a few runs I really like them. They stay tight. I bought a spare set of quicklaces in case I break one down the road.
However I will keep my New Balance trail shoes for running on concrete or asphalt. These Salomon Speedcross are NOT comfortable on the road, I feel too much ankle roll/instability with the large lugs on bottom.
BEST trail runner I have owned so far. Just don’t expect them to be a good road shoe, it isn’t what they are designed for.
I’m really really impressed. The tread has worked flawlessy so far for me through grass, gravel, mud, tree roots and general matted trails. I understand now why they market the Ortholite cushioning so much. It’s a great balance of giving but firm, comfortable to run in but still sturdy enough to inspire confidence regardless of terrain. The goretex shell is really why I bought these and I’m not disappointed. It’s done well wrapping over the sole and will keep you dry thru a few inches of deep mud, snow, or puddles with ease. The lacing system I was skeptical about, I’ve tried various sport laces in the past with road sneaks and was always left disappointed. But these work great. Very easy to loosen and tighten, the actual lace is more like braided wire than a fabric shoelace and it does not give at all. The fit was great, they really hug your foot. Might feel a bit tight at first but after a few miles it’ll form to your foot and all is good.
Just be aware, these are meant for crummy conditions. If all you encounter are smooth dry trails there are other shoes that you’ll like more. But if you’re running thru snow, mud, rain or just really rough trails these will fulfill your needs.

Go at least half a size up. These are also wider in toe box than previous Speedcross models which is nice.
The colour is not exactly what you see in picture.
Everything is fine as always with Salomon, but the colour is not same as what you see on Amazon add. It looks a bit more brownish in add picture while in reality its more on greenish. Everything else is perfect.
