I like the old school scales as such. No faffing around with batteries. Easy to adjust to the flooring with the little turn button to get exactly on 0 and then just hop on. Very pleased with my purchase and fully recommend. Thank you

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are well made bathroom scales, but they are hefty. Not easy to store away. But overall a good set of scales. The scales read I am 95 kg, so some error there obviously.

I bought this item because I was becoming increasingly irritated with the many digital scales I have bought over the last decade. The digital versions are good when working, but unfortunately they do not appear to have any form of longevity. Yes, the analogue version is (possibly) not as accurate as the digital, but it suits me when a pound or two is neither here nor there when keeping an eye on one’s weight.

Very happy with these scales. So very easy to read plus they appear to be correct. They look really good in the bathroom. Very pleased that you don’t have to worry getting batteries either.

I had to return the first set of scales as they got stuck on the number 6. The returns process was straight forward enough but it still a pain in the neck. Any the new scales work just fine.

Had just been disappointed in those modern digital scales that spend too long calibrating and making stupid calculations on BMI – yet just wouldn’t give consistent readings of the same person’s weight !

Back to basics with this good established brand. A traditional spring scales with immediate reading, no frills and no fuss. Good value too. Delivered quickly.

If only knocking off the extra pounds was as easy as using this scales !

Love the gold and black design just the right size, not too small plenty of room to stand on them safely. Weighed myself on my old scales and then on new ones both exactly the same. Like the fact there are no batteries needed and easy to reset each time after weighing. Reason for new scales my old ones would not always reset. Very pleased with my purchase especially after some of the negative reviews. Dial is easy to read, not too small. Can recommend.

I was at my doctor’s surgery, having an annual health test, when I was asked to stand on their weighing scales. I was shocked to find I was 15 stone when I thought I was 12 stone. My existing scales were partly to blame as I could hardly see the screen so I bought these Salter scales; partly because my doctor has similar looking scales and I liked their design. More importantly though, I can see my weight accurately and in both poor and bright lighting. Needless to say after a few months of using them plus enduring new exercise and diet regimes, I’m still 15 stone and which is within my BMI. So, in summary these scales are very good and well worth the price paid. The packaging and delivery was good too

I really like these scales. Good price. Don’t need batteries or to charge, and don’t need to bend down to see the weight reading. Very good KG and stones
UNFORTUNATELY, FOR ME THEY ARE WORKING THE WRONG WAY! EITHER THAT OR ALL THE RUBBISH I AM EATING IS SHOWING. ( certainly is).
These scales will encourage me to lose weight and look after my out of control diabetes.
    CERTAINLY RECOMMEND. THANK YOU

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNice scales. Got on and off few times and reset to at 0 everytime.. just one niggle.. if you put on laminate flooring be careful as it can slide from underneath you there seems to be no grip! I have put a rubber mat under it where I always get weighed.. make sure your floor is even.. carpets will.give you different readings but that’s with most scales.. over all 4 star. One star of for grip

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis scale is fine. It’s quite accurate and fairly easy to read (a large digital display would be even better, but you can’t expect that from mechanical scales!). The one thing that brings it down a notch is that it is not very sturdy. It decidedly flexes when you step on it, or even press it with your hand. This has not caused a problem so far, but it wouldn’t surprise me if device breaks down before it’s time due to weak materials.
