Fridge freezer was playing up and I didn’t have a fridge thermometer. This is great.bought a new fridge now and kept it in there – it reads the same temperature the fridge shows. Option to stand it up or hook it to hang.

I like the stainless steel construction of these Thermometers and the reason l purchased these items was l had a very bad experience in regards to food poisoning recently because of a faulty fridge showing an incorrect temperature reading
Quality produc
Well packaged and delivered on time. I bought two, one for my fridge and the other for a brand new freezer. I placed both in the freezer and both registered minus 18c. I then placed one in my fridge and that registered plus 5c. Very well made and accurate to boot. Excellent product for the price.
Accurate and easy to read
I bought this to check the temperature of our fridge as food kept freezing. It worked perfectly and showed that the fridge was -2C! Fixed the issue and now I can easily check that it’s keeping a constant 3C.
Impressive product, nicely designed, reputable brand, easy to read. Tried it in a vertical freezer unit that has temperature display, and comfirmed that temperature is correct. Then tried it in a fridge/ freezer, and gradually adjusted fridge temperature knob, until fridge compartment read around 4C. Disappointed to learn that the freezer section was running way below the necessary -18C, not ideal, but good to know. A must have gadget!
Accurate
I tested this against other thermometers I have and it was spot on,, have it hanging in the freezer and can check at a glance if the temp is correct, the fridge and freezer blue lines on the dial are perfect and easy to read. it is also well made quality

This thermometer is a nice smart-looking stainless steel one which gives good temperature readings on an easy to read display. We got this to ensure our new fridge was kept at an ice-cold temperature for nice cold drinks.
Our return from holiday
Up on our return from holiday we found when away we had a power failure and knocked out our freezer so all the food was lost. As the freezer was old and had given us good service we purchased a new freezer and

Good brand name, seems to work okay and temperature was checked against an electronic thermometer and readings were close enough to be the same. Good way of checking my fridge temperature helping me to know correct setting for temperature controller.
Works perfectly...
I put this in my old fridge which i suspected something was wrong and sure enough it was 13c in there, condensation. Been wiping fluid up from the bottom for a good while so decided to get a brand new fridge and now it stays firmly 1 to 5c as it should, usually bang on 4c. May get one for each of my 2 new freezers for some comfort.
OK item with some flaws
No need to worry about batteries as it’s analogue thermometer; however, it’s quite expensive at nearly 15 pounds and it features a fiddly base (most new fridges have glass shelves rather than gridded ones). Also, it takes a while to show the final temperature…
Simple and effective
Have two, one in the big freezer and one in the fridge freezer. X-checking both seem to read the same so both work or don’t(!) but I do belive they are accurate against FF own readings. Simple, easy to use and easy to read
Had a problem with milk going off. Realised that the temp control had been knocked to zero, hence the milk problem which almost put me into hospital.
Now, everytime we open the fridge door, we see the temperature in front to us. Great.
Really is a smart and useful thermomete
Really professional looking and easy to read fridge thermometer. Now at a glance I can see if my fridge, or my freezer is in the right temperature band. Well worth the money.
Excellent Fridge/Freezer Thermomete
Having purchased a much cheaper thermostat which did not work from day 1, I decided to buy this one which is a totally different kettle of fish. It works, is easy to read, is robust in design and simply a great buy. Can’t recommend it enough.

Bought to check temperature on fridge with basic features – no actual readings. Seems well made and hopefully is accurate! Would certainly recommend if you have no other way of checking temperature….
My fridge was far too warm!
Immediately proved it’s value, my fridge (which felt “cool” when you opened it) was actually at 12C!
This thermometer is nicely made and fairly easy to read (single digits are small but the “zones” are clear).

Great thermomete
Had to get a good quality thermometer as it has to sit in the fridge to ensure the temperature for medicines kept in there are always within the required range. Really clear to read. Versatile as it can sit on the shelf or be hung from wire shelves. Only improvement would be if it could hang from glass shelves (which it cant) as it’s been knocked off the shelf a few times now – still keeps working though.
Simple, effective technology
Batteries are not much good in the cold. This doesn’t need a battery. A glance tells you that the fridge or freezer is cold enough. Simple and effective. Job done.
Works well.
A replacement for an old fridge and freezer thermometer, which I suspected was no longer accurate. This is easy to read, and can be adjusted very simply to either stand on, or hang from, a shelf.
Excellent versatile house thermomete
I liked that it can be used in the fridge, freezer or anywhere in the house. Easier to read than a mercury thermometer. Accurate as compared to other thermometers we have. It takes a few minutes to reach a new temperature, presumably so it can be handled in the fridge without upsetting the reading. I bought one as a Christmas present for my sister who likes it too.
Excellent temperature gauge
This gadget is amazing, if you want to set your fridge freezer to exact temperature. We had a cheap 2 plastic one and turned out we had the temperature set too high. Excellent – recommended.
It lives inside my fridge. I was aware that fridge temps affected the storage of food but didn’t know how high the temperature was inside my fridge. A few minor adjustments to get it right and everything is fresher now. Easy to use and have taken it to my mums and readjusted her fridge too.
Don't expect a calibrated performance
Such gauges are not scientific instruments with declared accuracy. But they do provide sufficient accuracy to give reasonable confidence of the temperature range.
Unsure of actual performance I bought two and compared with a separate digital cooking thermometer. In the fridge and freezer the alignment between them changed. In one there was up to a couple of degrees difference but they agreed in the other.
Adjusts very fast to temperature changes
Tested this item in 4 cooling devices: travel fridge-freezer, tabletop freezer, freezer with drawers and a coolbox that needs ice-packs to lengthen the cooling. Some had their own temperature readout.
What surprised me is how fast this device measures the temperature. At first I thought that it had to be broken or that my faithful travel fridge-freezer was starting to fail. Nope, in the few seconds I had reshuffled a few items between freezer and fridge compartment the thermometer had already adjusted to the outside temperature.
The accuracy seems correct and was in line with the measurements the digital displays of travel fridge-freezer and the freezer with drawers showed.
The item can be hung or placed on top or between items in the fridge or freezer. As it is rather small it can slide deeper to the bottom if items are moved and only if the device is not attached.
